Okay the Sister I'm currently on is the one and only time I'll be doing it this week.

For the rest of my notices I'll wait for something that doesn't involve ridiculously tedious mission after ridiculously tedious mission. AKA something that doesn't suck.

Have a good week all.

EDIT: And now on a mission that's bugged waiting on a GM to answer a petition. Yeah those older tfs are aweeeesommme. NO.

Wow Aura...

Sorry that you're having issues with the Sister there...

Lets hope that the issue gets resolved soon for you.
As for the TF in general... well... maybe this will give the Dev team a reason to put all older TF's and the table to be revamped.

Maybe giving them all a 'general' trending pointing to a larger overall picture? That might be worth their time and effort to do.

Good luck though Aura

Thanks, thankfully the gm fixed the mission pretty quickly.

The WST system will likely eventually feature every TF and SF in the game sooner or later. Obviously some of them are better than others and people will like different ones for different reasons.

Not really quite sure what the purpose of your post was. If this was a general "complaint" about the Sister Psyche TF then that's one thing. But the fact that it's a legitimate candidate for the WST has probably never been in question. *shrugs*

I haven't really liked any TFs I've been on enough to want to commit to any of them on a regular basis.

Bet you're looking forward to Manticore in a couple of weeks time

General complaint that it (and some of the older ones) need a revamp is all and the way the WST currently works.

I'm sure it will be better when shards drop from lower enemies. The only reason I'm bothering before I20 is that we can break down the Notice into 4-6 shards.

Manti TF is like bowling for me. Seems like a good idea at the time and starts out fun (Weee! Mow down fields of Crey!) but, by the end, I'm saying "Huh? My turn again? Yeah, okay, I guess... *roll* ". Nothing puts me in that late-TF fugue state quite like a Manti.

The fact that it has one of the least interesting ending AVs ever doesn't help.

Nice analogy

Personally I find Citadel just trumps it by virtue of playing the Groundhog Day missions in a series of bloody council bases.

Mind you one of my worse ingame experiences was a 4 hour Manticore which I just had to give up on as my then-girlfriend (now wife) was going to leave me if I didn't get off that "damn computer" (I told her what I'd been told, that it'd take me 2 hours or so).

I have to agree with Carnifax that Citadel is worse than Manti. The manticore TF is easy to speed run, the majority of the missions are either kill the boss/click the glowie. Prior to all the incarnate stuff there where folks on my server who ran daily (or more often) speed manticores for the merits. Citadel on the other hand is nothing but kill all missions on the worst maps in the game - council cave maps. Most of the maps are absolutely identical, which makes it even more mind-numblingly boring.

I don't think the Manti TF is an awesome TF, but like the khan you can get through it quickly and relatively painlessly. Would I like them to give it the same treatment they gave the old positron, sure - would cheer that on. However, I would rather see Citadel, Numina and Sister Psyche cleaned up first and see redside get a 30-35 SF.

The difference being that I don't join a Citadel thinking "This will be fun..."

It's the Manticores that always trick me.

But, I like bowling. Does that mean I'll like Manticore's TF?

There I was between a rock and a hard place. Then I thought, "What am I doing on this side of the rock?"

It's a 45-50 minute kind of TF - not too long with a fast team

I bet that they get through all of the Strike Forces sooner rather than later....

Actually, i like most of the lower level TFs. i guess it helps that all of my builds are made with an eye towards being functional at all levels as far as power selection goes. The Shadow Shard TFs on the other hand take the most annoying aspects of Numina and Citadel, namely hunts in multiple areas and repetitive maps, and multiply the annoyance by ten.

To be honest though i generally prefer the various Strike Forces, but that may be because i don't run them as often.

Dr. Todt's theme.

Yeah...the two 'most' boring TFs I ever remember doing with my toons is the Moonfire TF (nothing but caves of wolves and vampires...woo... ) and then Citadel. Council cave maps all the time!

But I will say that until they get shortened/revamped, the Shadow Shard TFs take the prize for "most boring" because of the repetitive nature of them (defeat 50 x, hey congrats!, now do it again! ). When the "speed" versions take 2-3 hours...uh...yeah....boooring :P

I do love the artwork in the Shadow Shard and some of the maps (usually the last mission(s)) are fun because they're a little different (mainly because of the end AV); but overall? ick....no thank you.

I do not fear AVs, but Spouse Aggro can stop my heroes dead in their tracks. Any reference to "That Stupid Game!" signals Serious Trouble Brewing.

I am glad to hear she still married you after all that, Carnifax.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

Honestly? I used to like the Sister Psyche TF. But since some demented soul at Paragon decided that every single spawn absolutely must have a Super Stunner I have learned to despise it. I absolutely hate that mob. Their end drain is completely over the top. It nearly approaches Malta Sapper levels of effectiveness.

So I take it I'm the only one that enjoys Citadel TF? I despise Manticore with every fiber of my being.
