Reichsman still equal parts tedious and annoying.
What, you think it's somehow more boring than in Kahn, where there are no ambushes or temp powers, and instead you just occasionally take a break from beating on him to defeat a more cooperative AV?
Issue 16 made me feel like this.

Or the LRSF where you are instantaneously killed, repeatedly, and fail every time?

I *love* the ambushes in the Barracuda TF. It's one of my favourite bits of the whole game. I wish there were more like it -- that's what the reactor ambushes in the respec trial should be like, not endless hanging around waiting for a couple of measly spawns.
Still, that said, sometimes it pays to know the speed runners on the server. One hour, two Khans, two Notices :-)

Death is part of my attack chain.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
I'll take Kahn to 'cuda any day. At least the final battle seems sort of thought out, there.
In 'cuda, you either have the right ATs to get all the temp powers, and you conquer it as though it's nothing more than a minor speed bump, or you don't have the AT mix designated by on high and you spend two hours beating on the guy only to realize you'll never win.
Kahn at least requires a little bit of being able to think on your feet.

Having a blast with both TFs. Starting to wonder if some people like anything that isn't RPing in pocket D, sitting under Atlas statue or doorsitting in a farm.

Still, Reichsman himself just gets tedious when you don't have much in the way of debuffs to toss on him. i think the only reason BSF annoyed me more than most Kahn TFs is that i've done it less and the rest of the team was also less familiar with the SF.

The last time I ran Barracuda, we almost didn't wipe on the ambushes.

Basically that's my opinion. The gadgets and ambushes do reduce the monotony, but the sheer amount of hp to pound through makes him much more tedious than Rommy or other AVs with tricks of their own that don't involve an hp bar that takes forever to move.

Never had that happen on the LRSF, but i've only done a couple dozen LRSF runs at most. Mostly on PuGs along the line of what Dechs and Smurphy are known for: any AT, any powersets.

Just finished a Barracuda Strike Force run and was reminded again that the 'Cuda Reichsman fight is the single most irritating AV fight in the game.
The "biggest sack of AV hp EV-AR" approach to his design doesn't make for an interesting fight.
i like the "gadget fight" elements, but it doesn't make up for the general annoyance of "keep hitting him until either he falls or team DPS drops too low from the players dozing off at their desks waiting for him to fall."
...
Still, got the Notice of the Well, so i guess it was for something worthwhile.
