84 Month Vet Reward

In addition to the badge, for 7 years in City of Heroes you will be able to remote access the Auction Houses with the slash command /auctionhouse and gain an additional Character Slot.

May seems very far away to me right now.

They should sell that vet reward to you guys.

This is one of those times where I wish paying a year in advance would get me the rewards a year in advance. Because I'm still about 18 months away from this one.

Ugh, I only just now got my 66mo badge. If I play straight through, I'll be getting this July of next year, but I take frequent breaks out of boredom. Maybe I'll just buy a year's sub now and just pretend I've canceled from time to time...

Early July for me and looking forward to it. Hopefully this is just a test of sorts, and other people will see the benefit when a base item is put in that does the same thing.

And for all the irritating people out there. Turn your auras off and stop flapping your wings at the auction house, and this wouldn't be necessary.

Something this awesome is too good to be a vet reward. So horse-**** to whoever made this decision.

I also have to say the decision to make this a Vet Reward as opposed to a Base Feature or Booster Pack item is complete Horse ****. Even moreso because we have been asking for this feature now since the auction houses began and we still have people who just can't get to the auction house because their computer mapserves from all of the idiots running full toggles and dragging grunting demons and such.

I love the fact that we have little perks in return for our loyalty. I just think that this particular reward shouldn't have been released to 7 year vets when it is such a powerful feature.

I still remain loyal with 3 accounts running right now on yeal long auto renews. I'll eventually get to 84 months and then I won't care about it. In the mean time, Boo ******* Hiss.

I generally don't give two ***** about vet rewards as they're generally completely useless except for show, but yeah this one's a bit stinky as a vet reward. Maybe this'll get them to make a market interface for bases.

Yeah, this is a really nice perk, but I'm just sad that I won't be seeing it for more than 3 years. I wish they would do a base item too, finally give me the ability to stand in one spot and access the market, a crafting table, and my salvage vault all at the same time.

Meh, I don't see the hate. I do think the view that this is that awesome that it shouldn't be given out as an exclusive is only because we are such frequent market-heads. I know people that are going to consider this one on par with new boxers.

Then again, I don't have significant pity for people who can't deal with the physical markets, so take the above with whatever amount of salt is required.

I just wanted to add my voice to the, "cool feature, but not as a Vet reward" crowd. Something like this would be better off as either part of a Booster Pack, or even better, as a sort of second tier Accolade (the workbench being the first). As a Booster, anyone for whom this feature has value could get it whenever they chose (and conversely be ignored by those for whom it has no value; think of it as the Praetorian Party Pack). As an Accolade, it could again be earned by anyone who puts in the time.

I know many, many 5 and 6 year vets who have no idea how to use Wents, or how the market works in general; I don't know very many people with the Field Crafter badge about whom I can say the same.
