Man, I hate it when the Random Post Generator gives the funniest posts to the least deserving posters. It's an insult to us legitimetly funny posters everywhere.

Stupid Thread: an insult to intelligent players.

Yea, the OP is amusing, but BI's ranting on the subject is just plain absurd.

Eh, i remember back when she was ranting on about how useless Darkest Night is. Apparently she thought it was a single target debuff that had a huge taunt effect or something. Which is understandable if you never read power descriptions and don't pay attention when you use powers. Ah, memories... good times.

Mmm...

OMG!!! You are so right! I've always hated the RNG. It totally sucks and robs me of everything I deserve. I don't know how many times I, a highly skilled and worthy player, have been robbed of rewards like Numina++ and LotG+ by undeserving grinders who do nothing but sit at the door while I do all the real work.

So let me know when you are done writing YOUR MMO because I definitely want to play game with such a fair and balanced system of rewards. PM me when you are almost done because I just need to beta that.

It should be fun!

Or...

Bwuahahahahahahaha!!! That was hilarious. I haven't seen rich satire like this in a really long time. I especially loved where you suggested we replace the RNG you hate with a completely different RNG which you don't. What a great way to kick off the weekend. Thank you, Fritzy! Kudos to you.

You mean like how they could get on an airplane that happens to have an electrical or mechanical problem that gets missed and crashes?

Or maybe happening to get hit by a drunk driver?

Or happening to find a $100 bill on the street?

Or any of the other things that happen *completely by chance* in life?

You're kidding, right? That's the second most outrageous thing I've read in this thread yet. Seriously, I've never even HEARD of something this preposterous.

How do you SIT long enough to even play CoH when the left side of your butt is larger than the right?

Randomness should not be used to determine who obtains Incarnate boosts but should be rewarded to those who succesfully demonstrate mastery of their individual skills.
I completely agree.

Nah, the right one's just as huge.

You've heard the term "working my *** off"?

Unfortunately for me, I still got a LOT of *** left back there. So I should be employed for at least a couple millennia.

Sez you.

How about we let everyone play according to their own play style, get rewarded according to what they're comfortable with and not judge them unworthy of the rewards they obtain for doing so?

The point of your OP was, obviously, that you want to decide who gets to become an Incarnate based upon your view of how the Real World should work and apply that to a Video Game that is meant to be a pleasurable time sink.

As for 'the future of the game', the Incarnate system seems to be just what this game needed from where I am sitting. I can certainly see ways to improve and tweak it, but a fundamental re-write is not needed. From the various level of excitement both on the boards and in the game, others think as I do it seems and I have not heard anyone other than the OP spout anything like this kind of dribble.

And, if you think success in Real Life is not tilted absurdly toward blind luck, then you really need adjust the medication. Most of the best and worst things in life occur through random chance, right up to and including your conception, unless one is a test-tube baby.

You and me both.

I really hope I never have to hire any of them if they have similar outlooks to the degree they want to enforce Real Life rules on Video Games.

Is one side of your butt bigger than the other, too?!? That's so sad! I didn't realize this was such a widespread problem!

Is there a chairity I can donate to or something?

I think there is a facebook awareness campaign for this. Something about pictures of brown eyes. Mine are green, so that's me out then.

Even getting the right results of In vitro fertilisation is left to chance! There's usually about 75,000 sperm used to fertilize the egg, meaning it'd be pure chance that 'You' get in first.

Although one COULD use ICSI, since that uses a single sperm, but that method does increase the chance for birth defects (although that is in dispute) further leaving the child's life and future up to a RNG!

Aww man, now I'm TOTALLY bummed! I'm too po' to donate!

Maybe we should start a lop-sided butt awareness campaign on the boards! I could get behind that!

Obviously this thread has shown that being able to play despite the crippling effects of LBS* is the true measure of skill.

Kudos to the asymmetrical *** brigade. You are truly an inspiration to us all.

Now THERE is a supergroup/villaingroup name waiting to happen.

If we ever had a valid argument to beg the developers for asymmetrical character models, this is it.
