did find one small bug ,if your in costume and switch on stealth, costume goes away

They are still available. I received all the banner badges on several characters yesterday evening

I'm not sure if this is a bug or WAI:

Got the tip mish last night, ran and completed it. Selected to keep the Maleus Mundi and got a recipe.

ToT'ed for a bit and got the tip again, but had to log for the night.

Ran the tip mish again this morning (approx. 7 hrs after previous completion) and selected the same option.

No recipe.

I'd guess it a backwards step to remove the badges whilst keeping the banners in-game, so I imagine that they're probably still available, but would like to check since I missed these last year.
As was mentioned, all the previous years' badges are available. They did a nice job with the overview page.

Not really a bug, per se--that's just the way the costumes work: sort of a non-stealthy stealth power.

That would be a bug. The badges you can only earn once, there is no limit to the number of times you can select the other rewards.

I managed to get about twenty-two costumes in two hours last night. In previous years, it has taken me twelve hours of nonstop door knocking to get all thirty-three. I'm going for a new personal best this year and I'll do it again on the last day of the event just to have the costumes for another twelve days! It makes me kind of sad when I see my favorite ones disappear one by one.

Has anyone confirmed that there are new costumes beyond the original thirty-three this year? The list of the previous ones can be found at the URL below.

Ok, something not so good about the event - someone told me that the "Malleus" badge is still being awarded for defeating witches - which is seriously not cool.

There are so many opther badge titles they could use without having to use something so disgustingly bad taste - witches are all about spells and magic, so just give the badge a title related to spells or magic, and leave the crimes against humanity reference out of it.

Do we know if there's any kind of cool-down similar to earning merits? In other words can I only get a given reward every 20 hrs?

Haven't heard of any either, but I suspect there would be to avoid recipe farming.

An old alt I reactivated to finish the ghosts badge and third costume badge tore through and got all the new tip badges, and when choosing the one for the badge and recipe it got the unique Numina recipe.

Also this old alt only just went Rogue and has NOT yet run a Katie.....yet when it got all the new tip badges it also received the reward message that I could access the Witches hat at the tailor. Is this WAI or a slight error?

Okay, someone tell me what exactly drops Halloween tips? Wearing a costume, check - but do they drop from defeated mobs from ToT? From clicking the doors alone? Any mob in general?

I got one when I was grinding {grinding!!} costume badges and none since. Does the RNG just hate me that much?

They are a treat from the doors when wearing the costume.

AFAIK, that is working as intended. It is meant to be an alternate means of unlocking the witches cap and makes it so Villains don't need to go rogue to do so.

If the current rate of Tip drops that many are reporting seeing is WAI, please consider an additional means to get tips next year. This year is resulting in an abundance of costume salvage for me. More than I'll ever actually use at this point. Perhaps we could turn in 4 or 8 bits of costume salvage for the mission tip as well?

Hmmm.. I got 2 tips drops in 2 sessions of ToTing withing about 15min (if that) of starting each session. First was solo and 2nd on a team. I think you're just having bad luck.

On the flip-side, I'm getting very few costumes compared to previous years.

I'm just thinking that random drops is random - TOT'd on an eight man team and got nearly zilch for drops (costumes or tips) after a while of grinding, but solo I was getting costume salvage, 5 costumes, and a tip within like... 30 mins.

We do seem to be getting costume salvage a lot easier this year, which seems to make sense as the devs are probably expecting a higher-than-normal demand for them with lots of new Praetorian toons, and an increase in playerbase numbers with people who reactivated accounts for GR.

Just to spell it out, that post says you can get the reward like a rare recipe ONCE, if you don't already have the badge. Once you have the badge, your reward is a large Inspiration (or 5000 Inf for the last one).

(The post says "50000" Inf but I'm pretty sure it was 5000 when I did it.)


So no dimished returns, it's a lock-out. You get it once, and that's it.

Good clarification. That jives with what I'm getting from others now too.

Totally understandable, especially with the rare recipe (otherwise it'd be an easy to get 20 merit random roll equivalent), but I wish I'd known.

Now I know... and knowing his half the [REDACTED FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT].
