Never happen. At least not soon. We used to have skin exactly like that but to many were paring it with equally white clothing. And well. It was becoming a city of nudists. They'll have to edit all the skin tight costume peaces so that there seems are clearly visible before they let that happen. Ether that or add a program patch that prohibits skin tight clothes and the actual skin from being the same color.

Except that a featureless fleshtoned figure with zero anatomical detail doesn't even look like a nude person. It looks like a mannikin. I doubt anyone who's undressed their Barbie or GI Joe as a kid is going to be traumatized by the sight of a character who looks like a walking action figure.

Annnnddddd

You can already do this anyway.

Select the white skin option.

Select the 'tops with skin' option on the female body.

Select the white colouring.

Tada you've just made someone nude because the clothing actually blends in and takes on the skin colouration thing rather than being an actual solid piece (which is very annoying at times).

Or you could just select one of the many...many...many other colours that can 'sort of' match, you'll just have to be green and naked instead of flesh toned.

The best part is that the way the reeds discreetly cover the (nonexistent) naughty bits makes the costume look a lot more risque than it actually is.

I remember getting called all sorts of names when I suggested this, but I still stand by my assessment - I would sooner have better control over my skin tone and leave CS to worry about "naked" characters (who've never been that prevalent despite always being possible) than to have these silly functional restrictions. And again, even if restrictions are needed, there are better ways to go about them.

Back to npc costume pieces

the tire belt might not work on all character models but it's nice. Nothing says I'm a tuff guy quite like a Michelin around the waist.

the belt with the shurken head might be a little limiting on the character concepts that go with it, but if you remove the head the belt can be used for a lot of things. Also the neck piece has alot of potential, if it doesn't clip with wings it would be great for bird characters. I would also like to double it up with the shoulder fur from the magic bolo. You could get some great furry concepts out of it.

Not quite sure if the suggestion is entirely on-topic, but I'm pretty sure it's at least partially so.

I propose the ability to flag colors on costume pieces as "flourescent". We've seen them on Resistance costume pieces, at least, and having glow-in-the-dark costume would open a whole new world of possibility.

Far as costumes from NPCs go, all I can do is restate my previous requests: Nemesis boots and gloves plus the Romulus shoulders. That alone would sell this to me.

You should try some of that stuff...it's pretty fun. One or Two MS raids net you all the vg merits u need for costumes. don't got an hour? how the hell do you enjoy this game w/o an hour?

Easiest way is to go into the User CP and change your Message Editor Interface setting to Enhanced Interface. Then just look for the button with a landscape, paste the URL int the diolog box that pops up and your good to go.

I seriously want that belt. You see it again on some of the Merit Vendor contacts, like the one near the Black Market in Sharkhead... and we don't get it? Not fair. I wants it.

But as others have said, if we're doing conversions like this, please make them work for both genders. It's still highly irritating how female models don't get a lot of the cool stuff from the Magic pack, like the Baron jacket, boots, Occult hat, etc. There's so few female groups in the game, just straight conversions that don't account for the females of NPC stuff would be infuriating.

Heck, let's throw that in. Female versions of Magic Hat, Occult Hat, Renegade Hat, Skull Mask, the Baron jackets, and Baron boots.

2) Carny thigh-high boots. Again, awesome.
3) Airlea's necklace.
4) Airlea's armbands.
5) Longbow leg-band things.
6) Mender's. All of it, it's teh awesome.
7) Crey aprons, both in shiny and cloth.
8) Long skirts for all! Ankle length for the modest!

9) PLEASE, low shoes! Mary Janes for the ladies, Penny Loafers for the dudes, sneakers, hiking boots, steel-toed shoes! Just cut the tops off existing boots and allow the upper texture to be skin or tights, just something, please!
