Whoa, is that looks like a Magical Ms. Liberty.

Oh, right. I was thinking, with Mot loose, maybe some revamped Skulls outfits would be cool. Not that it's hard to make them already.

You guys have been doing awesome so far.

Given that they're the same color as the top, I'm going to hazard a guess at "tattoos are included in top's color mask." The fortune teller you need to rescue for the Spelunker badge has the same top.

While we're on the subject of that skirt, how about just giving us ALL the Cabal costume pieces - including the muscular female chest Mary MacComber has?

Really? Huh. Thought they were a weird version of Chest Details that included decorating the arms.

This is a brilliant idea. Can we have this?

Something I'm wondering is what kind of status we have with this? We have new outfits being designed with PCs in mind even though NPCs still get NPC-only pieces (PC IDF helmet has a minor variation to the NPC one) but what of all the older pieces that have been mentioned?

Probably already suggested. Maybe even by me.

BUT since we are FINALLY getting some persistent and power animated jet packs as back details with the new Retro SciFi set, can we FINALLY look at a conversion of EXISTING in game jet back geometries to also be available as persistent details? I don't care if they are either unlockable (ala council weapons, etc) or premium (new carnie bits) or you guys still have the range of your business model to be generous and make them just plain free. In particular, I'm talking about that Goldbricker jet pack.

TLDR: I want the Goldbricker jet back as a permanent backpack detail

Or at very least as a new inventable temporary power.

Just give us a sash for male and huge models already. Please just move it to the top of the list. It has been requested since Kheldians were put in the game, is it not about time to do it?

I will say that I like the sash the Tsoo wear better than the carnie sash though. It has a more martial arts look to it.

Oh, and that hat would be nice too. I am sure the females are also going to want that top. The new Tattoo would be nice also. Hey I have an idea, how about a costume pack with ALL of the Tsoo costume items. Note to that the Tsoo use about every power in the game with those skirts on...

Also, expect a whole bunch more posts to be added to this thread after the next issue is released.

Been a long time since we heard from anyone but Dink. I hope David, Jay, and the other art guys are ok.

It's been awhile now. He has a friend who's been working on something, and trying to get him to come help. He finally decided to go help said friend, and left Paragon Stuidos.

IIRC, it was Zwillenger who mentioned this in some odd thread here on the forums...

Also, if given the choice, would you consider this a priority over, say, brand new costume sets, 'lost' costume pieces, and other alternatives? Feel free to weigh in.
Yes.

Some of us were told at the Player Summit when we asked where Jay was.

When it was reported on the forums, some people didn't believe it until either Zweigendoobephogerung or Avatea or some other redname confirmed it.

It may have even been in a uStream chat that it was confirmed after the Pummit.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Oi vey.

When they updated the Tsoo, they male legacy NPC models remained the same except for some getting the glowy tattoo.

This means that the new female models probably got new costume pieces that could be exported to PCs.

So, think about what this means: A new player usable Tsoo set that is:
  • Primarily Female focused
  • Bustier focused

It will be Carnival of Light and Gunslinger all rolled into one all over again.

So inclusion of one bustier is enough to make a set's main focus cheesecake?

Let's see what these Tsoo ladies really are wearing:
-Belt. This is also worn by some male Tsoo who use the long skirt.
-Hat. Also unisex; female model just has attached long hair.
-Tattooed arms top-with-skin. So there's some underwear involved - so what? We can't exactly leave her bare-chested; there has to be something there.
-Pants, shoes, and bracers that are already usable by female players for free.

What I would expect to see in a Tsoo costume pack, based on this:
-Unisex Tsoo belts.
-Tsoo hat with male and female versions.
-Female tattooed top-with-skin.
-MAYBE glowing versions of existing male and new female tattooed tops.
-If we're really lucky, existing shirts on male NPCs added to male/huge (and maybe female) Sleeveless Robes options.

Yeah, I'm not seeing a focus on male-directed eye candy here.

Yeah, you're leaving out the bustier and forget the male shirts can't just be included since they're on the legacy NPC models. They can't be ported. They would have to made from scratch for the PC models. There are no male clothing pieces to port. Nor is there a "unisex belt" to port for the same reason.

Like I said, if it's ported, it's only new female pieces. Another female set with a bustier.

Exactly like Carnival of Light had female pieces that could be ported to PCs, but no male pieces because they were all legacy Chain Legacy pieces.

the pumicites, specifically the Magmite boss with the flaming, volcanic-looking skin. It is so intensely awesome I would just sit, look at my toon and giggle if I could look like that.

The Sashes are new on the male and female model I am pretty sure. We have the shirt already, just not a sleeveless version.

All I really want are the Hats and the dang blasted sash.

Originally, the Carnival of Light boots and sash were part of legacy NPC models too. We got those, why can't we get the shirts?

What? No glow tats for everyone? Bogus.

Because the females used the PC rig and needed a new sash to go with the PC rig. The males in the Carnival of Light kept the old NPC rig and weren't given a new sash, thus, no new male PC-ready sash was made.

The point is, there are no new PC-ready male parts from the updated Tsoo (unless the glowy Tatoo guys are new PC models... haven't looked that closely). These new factional pieces were created before the new commitment to greater gender equity. That means releasing what's ready will be Carnival of Light "devs hate male models" all over again.
