Whee! DB art is up, and it's excellent as always. I'm of course pleased as punch that Grindhouse Katt made it up there. Lots of characterful designs there. I really like the two jesters, they fit so well. Once again, wonderful stuff Deebs, and thank you for doing this.

SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.

really like the hairy dude, his monocle is awesome, also love the cheesy grin on Silver Tooth. How do you get such clean lines? I'm having a hell of a time with that.

Completely awesome. Your lines have gotten a lot more crisp over the years. It's great to see how much you've improved.

thats what the freebie practice is totally for to draw characters , faces and looks id likely not normally draw (also to steal costume ideas ) and yeah while I still need a ton of practice its neat looking at my first attempt at headshots and seeing the difference between the two .

the below is all very TLDR so fair warning

one of two ways ,

I sometimes sketch with a blue photo pencil ----> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-photo_blue (im real messy with lines but try not to erase things ) then find the lines I like and ink over the blue pencil .the blue pencil pretty much disapears when you scan it in .

(trick one Suichiro from these forums taught me or I stole it from him )

before learning the non photo blue pencil trick I would scribble out sketches then go back in and ink the lines I liked and only after inking would I erase anything , then when it was scanned in I would tweak the brightness in photoshop which allowed me to generally make any lite lines disapear and the inked lines very crisp and bright ,

(I've only recently started taking a class or two so all my early stuff is done the hard way )

lets see

pencil wise I use a refillable clickie pencil (I recently splurged and got a hoighty toighty fancy clickie pencil <.< >.> and my friends make fun of me for what I paid for it ...but its like my excalibur it really does feel right in my hand )

ink wise I use black sharpie markers for big black areas and micron pens of varying width for my inked lines (Microns are cheap and versatile and can be found at any art supply store )

paper wise I often buy a big pack of high end copy paper from the various office supply stores and sometimes pick up bristol board for larger images where im gonna be doing big doodles .

Toxic Shia has been doing alot of art streaming lately where he draws live , i've found it amazingly great as a tool to watch him since I can ask him questions about what he is doing and how he is using photoshop and i've picked up a few tricks from seeing other artists drawing live .

Hehe, I love it!! Awesome Deebs!! Thanks a ton, it made for an excellent finish to what had otherwise been a stressful weekend. Also I love your fine print; it made me smile almost as much as the head shots

Oh oh oh! How can one go about watching this? I'd like to see his methods in action.

I kind of wish I had your guys' dedication to art like this. So many ideas to draw, yet I'm entirely too lazy to get good enough to do it.

lets see the link for it is here ----> http://www.livestream.com/drunkfusdrawing and you can watch past stream shows (we watch Doctor who at the same time ) sometimes its comission work , sometimes doodles and such .

he dosn't have a set time it just sorta happens so catching him live can be a bit hard unless you have him on AiM and can ping him

I was thinking, I had posted my main up here, but really he's a very boring headshot. Reddish monstrous wolf-head with a leather jacket. Wow. Excitement.

However, I have recently made an alt that is a bit more interesting to look at. So, here we go with the fiery Tattie Bogle:
