    Yeah, I want that.
The bulky gloves too from the Praetorian PD.

    That's beside the point :P

I think it just comes down to little variety and change in scenery. Granted, GR suffers this same problem as well. But as a Freedom char, I could go to Parez Park instead of Steel Canyon if I wanted or Kings Row.

  4. In regards to /FA

What's everybody's opinions on StJ/FA both for budget and then expensive builds?
  5. Never gave it a try because of how easy it could be to grief. I don't like griefers and find them wasting my time to be a nuisance. So haven't really found a group of people I could trust that would actually bring enjoyment out of a broken system. On most my characters I try for a second win for that awesome "jump-back-to-feet" feel. Normally I don't care if I win or lose, I take my licks and try to incorporate it into a story or flat out write it out like it never happened (in the event I join a group who set difficulty so high they can't beat it - death ensues).
  6. I'm digging the sword, a little outrageous but I too would like to see what other skins will be available both through the customization menu at level 1 and from particular badges like Overseer and what not.

  8. Not to mention RTTC. More mobs around you means -tohit on foe so there's some mitigation to be had right there. IMO RTTC makes the set strait up, IO Bonuses just improve what the set does fairly well on it's own.
  9. Recharge looks definitely worth tossing if you're going with EA considering Entropy Aura, it's pretty dope IMO. But that was just based on my Beta impressions.
  10. Right now the only thing I'd ask from Broadsword is faster animation/activation times and something more like The Witcher's combat animations. Frankly though I don't expect it, it's a decent set but nowhere near being the top and it'd likely take a lot of time to fix if it were ever looked at. I wont hold my breath for it but it is unfortunate that quite likely, like StJ to MA, Titan weapons will outshine BS.

( my other prediction is that Psi-Melee will likely beat KM x3 )

Though it makes sense if you're on a free-bee account. Otherwise I agree. There's a little more I could ask for, sure StJ seems to carry with it a different learning curve that makes MA look like cake-work but all in all I feel it's also more gratifying.
  12. I've rolled like 5 so far but dedicating my time to StJ/SD and StJ/FA (the later getting the more attention at the moment).

Get some mid builds goin, I wanna see what people's ideas are. Economic-Builds minimum requirement.

    Pretty much this.

I was having the same problem with Kinetic Melee until 40+ when IOs would give me some end reductions.

It's just a fast set. Crushing Uppercut takes less endurance than Concentrated Strike but the problem is it's both faster animation.

    Fright Fest!

Hopefully I'll have that day off, that'd be fun.
  15. EDIT: I understand the whole issue with making it work, thouggh I disagree and would instead approve of getting it fixed so that we can actually get the parts that were most desired. Energy Mages and others got those high collar-cowls but they're not even in the list for being acquired. I honestly don't care about clipping, the shoulders with the raised collars and that cape they had ( forming what I'd consider an armored cowl ) were the only parts I really wanted. What a tease this is.

I thought the whole revamp of the CoT (for an example) was to better design NPCs under the player bodytype so that parts would soon be interchangeable. You shouldn't care if someone wants to run around as a Statesman look alike, which is already possible, let them. Is that not what this game got so popular from... the amount of variety.

We got some chump in First Ward with a full chested piece of the Defense set that would of been cooler than the basic chest-detail we got from it instead. Come on now.
  16. Bah I missed this with too much on my plate taking place this weekend

Just around the corner I'm hoping. Since our "participation" there's been quite a few updates so it's looking hopeful.
  18. Fun stuff always happens on the Saturdays, the day of the weekend I work and would rather not. Forever alone T_T
  19. Favorite melee set for me. I'm not min/maxer so I can just say that for what I use it for on a Stalker and Scrapper (KM/Nin - KM/Elec respectfully), I love the set. Until StJ comes out and even after, KM remains to be one of my attack sets.

Eh, it's truly hard to answer that for you. As that's based on my perspective which I love the class and the method going into how to play the class. Personally I loved taking a stalker Blue side, the amount of things you could do versus what a Scrapper was stuck with in low-end areas; it was very much a different experience.

Of course that changes as you level up but I've never run into a problem where I was kicked or declined from a group because I was a stalker. But that could be for multiple reasons, one of which being play-times.
  21. Works fine for me, it's the way I always rolled with toggles pre-endgame. Since I'd likely 6-slot them anyways for an IO set, may as well fill them up with something. I actually don't suffer end-problems with Energize and PS.
  22. Right now my KM/Elec runs with the toggles 3x Res and 3x End, rarely do I go down and he's only at level 38. Devouring Earth can be a bit of a pain but that's toxic damage for ya, Toxic damage which Elec has no defense against until Power Surge (Tier 9). With Hasten and Lightning Reflexes, Energize can pop up quite frequently and that's without any IOs that improve global recharge, I'm only using SOs.
  23. If by immune you're referring to "hard to hit", that really doesn't occur until later unless you start fighting Rikti rather early. Which is possible. All of which can be negated by popping an accuracy enhancement.

I used to have hell with BS when fighting Rikti at level 40 because I wouldn't be able to hit drones for squat. But at the same time I only used damage enhancements. Even one single acc and you'll find a good change in target acquisition and execution. Now you wont hit **** 100% of the time but it's still better than nothing. Personally I found Kat to be one of the favorites in my list before KM came out.

And then there's other sets as others pointed out that each have their strengths depending on the confrontation. Personally I think Kat is fine, you just need to experience the later content to really build a good set. Especially when you get IOs, mobs who are generally resistant to your "charm" are less likely to survive the encounter.
  24. HEY GUYS! Remember that one Power Set we all loved? Good times... good times
  25. I didn't have anything softcapped on my StJ/Elec (same applies for my current KM/Elec) and have to say that as you get further - you do become more resilient. For obvious reasons of course. There's a Claws/Elec build, I forget who has the info but it's somewhere in this section of the Scrapper, where he's got S/L softcapped and others pretty close as well - was thinking of trying this for my StJ when it goes live.

I love the set. Though my preferred will always be DEF, it's a nice substitute and fun secondary to play with IMO.
