That seems a very Praetorian kind of peace offering

Which i will be able to share with your primal heroes at the level 20 - 29 range, did you know we get praetorian missions during that range?

Nice vids, J_J.

I'm guessing that was Ghost Falcon doing the presentation along with War Witch. He's a nice guy, but he needs to take some public speaking classes or something. Or maybe he had too much coffee before the presentation.

Great to see that the Calvin Scott TF is also back in. I missed it the first time.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

I don't really see any problem - he's just very enthusiastic about the game

Not a very smart move.
Considering how hungry we are for it, he might lose a hand doing that.

Trying a bit hard to find something to be bothered about, methinks.

He's making a big deal out of it because it is a big deal. It's one of the things apart from power customization, that has been most asked for and argued about over the years.

Stamina is not required to solo...but as an inherit is sure as hell going to make solo better.

No need to argue anymore. ^_^

Indeed. When I viewed the panel video I almost laughed at the guy who really wanted to get into an argument that people are losing slots because of Inherent Fitness, but I didn't. I'm sure he meant well.

I think he was probably one of the last to leave the meet and greet, and so he wasn't quite sober when he turned up for the panel

I have a few questions:

1) Incarnates, I think the idea of an Incarnate has changed over the years. Before it was a person drank from the Well of the Furies and was endowed with the power of a pantheon, like Donald Blake who can become Thor. I guess that has changed? So what is an Incarnate exactly?

2) What is that off line option mean? I am kinda feeling lost on how being able to take my character offline will be beneficial.

3)With issue 19 Praetorian War will there be an open world war event like the Ritki? And any word as to if they are taking on Primal's main villain groups?

If anyone got answers to these from the devs one cakez forz youz.

It's just you.

Why is this just a big deal. Fitness is inherent and no extra slots. What's the problem? This move is a good one.

So when they answered the new travel power question at the question and answers session are we supposed to take that as a yes?

The new Mender, the one that unlocks the Alpha Slot, is he the letter writter?

Which corroborates the high server loads I observed.

So lots of people were playing the game.

Not sure why you're unhappy with a company for tooting its own horn during a promotional panel, but there seem to be a number of low post count malcontents going out of their way to rain on the parade lately. Are y'all in a club or something?
It's certainly a theory you have. Minimal research would probably convince you otherwise, but only if you did it yourself. Sort of a horse to water kind of thing.

I'm not unhappy about the company tooting it's horn, if you actually read what I wrote I suggested how they could do it even BETTER once I was informed that they were only taking a snippet of the available timeframe since GR has launched. But I guess it wouldn't matter what I said because you now have your blinders up. Like the fact I also said i19 was looking pretty darn good. Oh well, that must have zipped by the in blind spot too.

Probably

Castle said earlier this year that he'd been testing the idea of a Silver Surfer style travel power, and that it seemed to work pretty well, but it was only a test.

I think the best gaming industry public speaker I ever heard is Richard Garriott.

That's correct. While I'm stoked that everyone's excited about the IDF pieces, it looks like I've been misquoted a little bit. To clarify, IDF costume parts will be available for players at some point, but not in I19. The announcement at NYCC was simply that the IDF enemy group will now be sporting a shiny new look in the Maria Jenkins and Tina McIntyre storyarcs.

More IDF news to come in future issues, though. Count on it.
