Party or Wedding pack?

So last week and today I brought lunch to work with me. Which means I saved the money I would've spent at Subway or Taco Bell. So technically I have $20 bucks left burning a hole in my pocket.

The plan is too spend part of that money on a booster, but there's only two boosters I don't own yet. Wedding and Party. I'm looking for feedback on which one to buy.

Now until today I've never even considered buying the Wedding Pack and I'm not saying it's a lame pack but it's competing with an $8 set of emotes. I wanna buy anther booster but my expectations of both are so low I feel choosing the lesser of 2 evils will help tip my decision for one or the other.

So I ask you, which is the less evil Booster.

Wedding
or
Party
?

PS any votes for Wedding that include SuperWickedCool costume screenshots will be counted twice.

No screenies but from years of use I can tell you if you have any female toons then you'll get a lot of extras from the wedding pack. The female pieces are SO good. The moving tail tuxes are of limited use but aren't too bad and you can get a few moving pieces on one costume now (cape/coat tail/wings, etc.).

You do get a few emotes as well (throw rosepedals, confetti, propose, etc.).

So if it were me, I'd get the wedding pack and eventually the party pack.

I'd go buy more tacos. I don't think either is worth it. And I have a number of the other ones, just not those two.

I use the wedding pack quite a bit for the costume pieces.

/this. The tuxes and such are nice, admittedly, but the female options are quite flexible and nicely detailed.

... plus tossing rose petals on someone with hover makes a very colorful tornado. Dresses up Singularity pretty well, too.

I don't own the Wedding Pack but will be picking up the Party Pack when they release it.

YMMV

Wedding pack has some embroidered female pieces that look very nice and you really can't get elsewhere for those slots. The wedding pack skirt and magic pack bolero are probably some of the most uniquely textured pieces in the game. The tuxedo pieces aren't quite as versatile but they're still well done and can share the same embroidered texture. The veil is unique for a hair accessory. The "lingerie" bits (Hearts Plus, Excess Plus, Angelic Plus) look great as well, especially compared to their body paint counterparts.

Despite it's thin contents, the wedding pack blow the party pack away.

... which I missed Jophiel posting, as well .>.>

(I have to end up referring to it. Between those, vet pieces, other pack pieces, etc. I end up mixing what's in what.)

I'd go with Wedding Pack as well.

As others have chimed in, there's a lot of utility out of the more female-centric costume bits. The emotes are nice as well.

I just feel the Party Pack is overpriced for what is given.

Thank you for the time...

The Wedding pack has several versatile costume pieces which make it more of a Non-Evil Evil Booster as opposed to the egregiously evil costume-lacking Party Pooper Pack.

Wedding Pack all the way. I use the costume pieces often and the emotes are really fun. The PP only has emotes and that's a total snore.

Agree with all but one of the posts (the one saying neither is worth it). While the WP isn't essential, of the two I'd definitely go with it (I've used it a lot, in combination with other costume pieces). I certainly won't be getting the PP when it's released.

Same here about those being the only two items I don't have. I have EVERYTHING else. If I was going to buy one of those, it would be the Wedding Pack. I may yet do so. The costume pieces are quite impressive and I don't have a lot of use for emotes in general.

Without a doubt the Wedding Pack.

Frankly I think you would be better off buying the Taco Bell knowing that later that night you would be paying tribute to the porcelain gods then buying the party pack. At least the Taco Bell would leave you a lasting memory.

Wedding pack. Good range of mix and matchable costumes.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

If you have female characters? Wedding pack. The Bridal set makes great elegant clothing, I use it on my sorceress type character.

I like some of the emotes in the party pack, but...

I'd not want to buy it, y'know, just to say "Step in the wrong direction, go back 3 steps."

This^^ lol

but I did see the bride costume twice in passing. Once on a Kill Bill ripoff toon(Kat/WP Scrapper), and once on an angry-looking Femme named Bridezilla (AR/something corruptor)

I'm still trying to wrap my head around a booster pack with nothing be emotes in it. (If what i read was true.) 8 bucks for emotes *ONLY*? Ah.. I barely use the free ones i have... No custome pices... no cheap gimiky perma temp power? And you want 8 bucks for that?? I'm willing to send 5 to 10 bucks on a booster pack with custome pices since I love char creation. And perma temp powers are fun to mess with, and some are really nice... but just emotes??

Get the wedding peck if your heart is set on getting one of them. At least there's costume options in that one, and some nice ones. (I use the tux on a few different heros of mine.) Unless your one of them people that sit under atlas all day chatting... then new emotes may be worth it to you...

I have the wedding pack. The formal Tux sleeves go great with the baron jacket if you don't want the massive rolled sleeves that came with that coat.

I have some extra money, so I am getting the party pack today also. I will post if it is worth it or not, after I have played with it.

If you like emotes, then Party Pack's the one for you. If I had to choose again (as I've owned the wedding pack since forever ago), I'd still go for the Wedding one - costumes mean more to me than trying to ferret out that one emote I want right now before the moment passes on that multi-tiered list.

Epic.

Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
