Plus, being able to take the first pick when making your avatar would also make sense, as the way you travel is a very important part of the overall superhero idea - like we can pick our two main power sets, our costume, our power colors, and our name, but the travel part has to wait, which is kinda weird.
Well, lets be honest - there are some things that would ideally be available at creation: travel powers, capes and auras. The fact that they're not just shows an aged part of the game. I can understand keeping them as carrots for advancement, but I do hope they've talked a few times about changing that, especially in light of competition (regardless of your opinion of said competition).

I read it as your description of other's disagreement with you. I've never seen toasted refer to drunk. Lit, topsy, high, plastered... oh well, I just learned a new euphemism.

I will remain on the side until I see the impact on numbers o.o (Assuming they are not changing things numbers wise) I have to once again agree with....Venture. This is somewhat needed as it's gotten to the point with me (sooner with most I assume) that I'm automatically figuring in fitness no matter what now..even if it's not concept.

I think it makes sense from their point of view to spread out these kinds of changes, rather than add them all in one Issue

In all fairness, increased endurance recovery has been suggested in numerous ways since the time when Gecko and Statesman were still here. I had even suggested a single inherent power to simulate the functions of fitness without being replacing the pool, but I never would have thought an entire pool would be made inherent. It's just an odd way to solve any problem associated with fitness.

I am amused how the fitness change has dwarfed everything else mentioned...

I am actually not so sure fitness as inherent is a good thing. It was one of the things that made people think about which powers to take. One of the things that could completly go wrong in a build.

So making powerful builds becomes easier... the game becomes easier... again! Do we want it so easy?

I am not sure...

- The Italian Job: The Godfather Returns #1151
Beginner - Encounter a renewed age for the Mook and the Family when Emile Marcone escapes from the Zig!
- Along Came a... Bug!? #528482
Average - A new race of aliens arrives on Earth. And Vanguard has you investigate them!
- The Court of the Blood Countess: The Rise of the Blood Countess #3805
Advanced - Go back in time and witness the birth of a vampire. Follow her to key moments in her life in order to stop her! A story of intrigue, drama and horror! Blood & Violence... not recommend to solo!

It would, but at the same time DCUO is coming out sooner, not later. I'd rather see them hit with all these preemptively, you know?

As with most announcements, I'm lukewarm about this. I just find it unlikely that the devs would make the Fitness powers available to all characters without reducing their effectiveness. That's inconsequential for high-end builds but puts a damper on play speed for non-min-maxers. I'm also not looking forward to Hasten and Superspeed becoming the new "you must have them or your build sux!!!" powers.

As for the rest of it, it sounds "okay." I'm not complaining, though, since I got what I wanted in i18. Now, it's other people's turn.

I think a big pile of shiny new CoH stuff after the end of the free month included in DCUO is a better choice

Well, I've got to say I'm glad I never got around to respeccing my 50s when I hit the 60 month Vet reward. (at least I think it's 60, whichever one that lets me have travel at 6) Now I can swap four powers out of those characters. I'm already trying to figure out what I'm going to replace them with.

Oh, hey! I wonder if the free powers/pool will mean a lot more people will be packing Leadership? I know I'm going to add that to at least a couple of my own. Going to have Medicine on a coulple, too.

A: You crash into another one.

I doubt most people would want inherent Fitness, if we lose the ability to slot it or they get nerfed. I doubt the Devs are that foolish.

If they are...well, they deserve what they get.

Back to the drinking dude, you still know to use periods.

Ooh, I just saw that they said that the Incarnate system will be "inititally Praetorian focused" - so that surely means the Apex TF must be linked to Praetoria in some way?
Plus, as the picture of him is in the RWZ, that probably confirms it as a co-op TF, rather than twin story-line approach like the KTF.
It also ties in with both the blue and the red sides getting involved on the side of the Resistance.

Slax: something something incarnates. So what are they?

Positron: They're special abilities

Slax: So powers, extra slots, global slots?

Positron: They are abilities
