hope this means that free server transfers will be extended due to the late start, also we get back any character slots we tried to cash in when it was not working
it's not just extra slots. most of us can't roll any new characters at all (if we have more than 12 slots)
so no shiny happy GR launch for us
Apologies, but is there any ETA on this? I mean.. 3 months waiting, paid in advance, paid for toon slots I can't access..

The best advice I have heard is to make a character on an alternate server and transfer them over when the store and free transfers comes back on line. You can e-mail your praetorian whatever they might need. I know it's not ideal and that the current status sucks. I wanted to make my Praetorian on my home server, Justice, but can't. But at least this is a work around. |

Is there even an unofficial wild guess when the store would be brought back online
that is offically not an ETA, and is not supported by any sort of logic.
Even these sort of guesses can make some people happy.

Wow you all need to calm down... GoldenGirl I believe was joking... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I found it funny when she said that... It won't be that long. And the advice of making a toon on a server that you don't have 12 toons on already is really good advice. Don't get on here and complain that you can't "play the new content" when you can.
When the slots and server transfers are back up, all you have to do is transfer your toons to the server of choice... There is NOTHING keeping you from doing the new content [jk]so quit whining![/jk]
I just wanted to stop back in and make sure that you folks know we are aware of the impact this issue has on our players and it is a top priority for us to get it fixed. I'll be working very closely with our team on this to make sure I get you information as it becomes available.

It's taken at least twelve hours to get an official statement here, as far as I can tell. I know I had the problem this morning before I went to work whilst, annoyingly, my boyfriend could access character slots at about midnight last night (after I was in bed).
I have two accounts on the EU servers and not.a.single.slot where I can play the new content. Tonight happens to be just about the only chance I'll get to play for several weeks. I have no characters of the appropriate level I want to go Rogue with.
I guess I'll go read a book.

I'd love to be able to transfer a couple of characters off of Freedom, but it's not like this is a one day only thing. As for losing slots when the store goes down, yeah that's a royal pain.

I know in the past when the feces has collided with the air oscillating apparatus there have been complaints that we do not get enough information from the developers. I was a little worried that it was a few hours before we got an acknowledgement of the issue (of course, being west coast based, it was not as long a wait as Europe and the East Coast had), but the fact that we have received not one but two updates has restored my faith that not only are you aware of the situation but you are aware of the impact as well.
Keep us up to date. Even an update every 30-60 minutes saying "We do not have any estimates yet but are working on the issue." will go a long way to satisfy most concerns.
Now, in the mean time, I have some characters that were exiled to the Rogue Isles that want to come home, so let the Side Switching begin!

I can make a praetorian on another server but when we are used to one server we call home, we want to play there. Deleting a name that i have put aside like most people here, i know how it feels when then you don't have it.
I know the Devs will do their best so i wait quietly and it is time to go to the Grey side!
Losing slots when the store is down has been there since day 1 so the impact now should be no surprise. I guess the problem is there's a lot more interest in the game because of this release and this is a real bad first impression. Real bad.

We are aware of the issues with character transfers and claiming extra character slots, and are working to resolve this issue. In order to correct the problem, we had to take down the online store link from the game. We'll keep you posted on our progress.
