Thank you all so much for the well wishes, it is comforting to know I'll be missed. As to the REAL reason I'll be leaving, I'm afraid it is indeed because Tamaki Revolution dc'd on me during a RSF.

Seriously though, there have been a few moments where I've second guessed myself. Opportunity only knocks for a short time however, and now is my chance to do the best I can for my family. I will indeed still be around but anonymously, so who knows if it's me you'll be chatting with!

It is with a lot of sadness that I share with you the news that I’m leaving Paragon Studios. Life sometimes has surprises for us, which was proven to me again just recently when an opportunity presented itself that would greatly benefit me and my family. These kinds of decisions are always tough to make, but I have come to accept the fact that it might just be time for me to shake things up by accepting a new challenge and in the process leave behind one of the most expensive places in the country to live.

While I’m okay with leaving Northern CA, it’s not so easy to leave all of you. The past two years at Paragon has been incredible for me. Not only have I been lucky to work with such a talented development team, but my first foray into Community Relations landed me smack dab in the middle of the warmest and friendliest community on the Internet. I can’t express enough how much affection I have for you, and how much I will miss interacting with you every day. City of Heroes and its amazing community will always hold a special place in my heart, and while I won’t be front and center anymore, you can bet that I’ll still be online as a player wandering the Rogue Isles and looking forward to the exciting plans that I know Paragon has in store for you.

My leaving presents an opportunity for you to get to know Beastyle a little better, also known as Mod 5. Beastyle has been around for a few months already and has been eager to get more involved with all of you. Now will be his chance to do so. It hasn’t taken him long to realize how special this community is, so I know he will take good care of you!

Again – I will miss you and the rest of the Community Team more than I can possible convey. Thank you all so much for making the last two years the most rewarding professional and personal years of my life.

• Neutropolis: Helix: Try to Communicate with the Ghouls
  • The snipers will no longer kill the manslayers around the Ghoul King, they will only wound them, requiring players to defeat them.

Zone Events

• Imperial City: Syndicate Takedown
  • Enemies pulled or knocked over the edge of the rooftop during the final stage of the event will either be teleported back to the rooftop with no ill effects or removed from the event without credit in order to allow other Syndicate to spawn on the rooftop, depending on how far they fall.
• Neutropolis: The Great Escape
  • The first lab section of the Resistance side of the event will now require players to defeat PPD forces and hack the security terminal to unlock the door.
  • Teleportation and Recall powers are suppressed when in the lab or underground portions of the event
  • The security terminal and the computer terminals at Lucan’s life-support tube will remain present in the world longer, rather than disappearing immediately once their stage of the event is over.

Transportation Systems

• Players will no longer be able to use the Praetorian transit systems to cross dimensions and enter Primal Earth missions.

Miscellaneous

• The Praetorian IDF are now sporting their new armors.

The holiday season is fast upon us, and it's time for us to start doing a little giving of our own! We've recently gotten ourselves a shipment of some very special costume codes never before available. That's right, these codes weren't given away at any convention or meet and greet; they are brand new and will be the envy of all your friends!
