New characters waiting on GR?

I have 3 or 4 new alts that I'm waiting to make so they can grow up in Going Rogue-land... anyone else doing this?

Considering that the new 1-20 levels in Praetoria will probably be..well..more interesting than the 1-20 blue-side or red-side....and then all the new costume pieces coming...

I'm pretty much holding off on making any new characters for the next couple of weeks.

If the devs aren't giving us anthor free month of server transfers I'm going to be rerolling 12 toons. I've used up all 36 slots and I've got a whole column of toons that aren't going to make the cut. 6 of them are heroes that I'm gonna move to redside first so I can respec out their IOs.

Back at Baycon I think it was, Posi said there were no plans to add server slots above 36 but the devs were playing around with the idea of a anthor free server transfer event.

Well I've cleaned out a bunch of low level alts and I still have noe char that I'm using to hold the name for one praetorian character (who's probably gonna start out Resistance)

So far I'm waiting to make a Dom for GR. For me it's time to get back to concepts and fun rather than the min/max scrappers of doom!

Cause i wanna experience the new content on them, for all possible sides!

At least one Elec/Elec Dom waiting to be made that will be destined to be heroic. A few characters that are going grey. After that, who knows.

Elec/Elec dom - not sure which way she'll end up. I actually don't know if I'll take her through Praetoria or not tho.

I'll have to roll a couple toons at least but so far most of my concepts are Paragon or Rogue Isles. Hrm.

Well, I've got a claws/dark scrapper that's waiting for GR since she's planned as a villain from the start. I always have a bit of a problem justifying lethal weapon wielding heroes to myself - I can usually figure something out, but it often feels a bit strained. I could have just made her a brute, but I really don't care for that AT's mechanics, so a villain scrapper it is.

If illusion had been proliferated to doms already, I would be waiting on making an ill/nrg dom redside and then taking him blue. Instead, I'm waiting on the devs to proliferate illusion to do the same.

I definitely have new alts in mind for the new powersets, but not so much for the existing ones.

Let's see.

I have four characters that will be switching sides, including one that will reroll for the sole purpose of leveling a bit as a Villain then redeeming herself.

There are at least five, and possibly more, who I'll be rerolling to start as Praetorians. They're all pretty much placeholders and have been sitting idle for a long time waiting for this.

I plan to start at least two brand new characters in Praetoria, I'm still debating about two others, and no doubt I'll eventually think of more.

So yeah, got a few new ideas, and there's a lot of shuffling to be done.

Well got a Kin/energy Brute or something using that build in mind...

Three or four. I also have a couple characters around lvl 6 who have been collecting job badges for the last however-many months and I want to flip sides with even if I don't re-roll them into Praetorians.

One or two of my new characters will be with the GR power sets (I never even prepurchased into DP or Demons) but I also have an older concept or two I just never put the time into starting. Exploring the new 1-20 content in GR will be a good chance to bring them up into the mid-game at least and see how I like them.

I'm trying to clear slots of low level alts I never ended up playing, even though they'd probably be awesome, like an Ice/Dark Corr who's still only at level 7, about six alts ago. If they can't pick up steam by now, they're probably going to need to be cut, sadly. Then comes the hard part of cutting some that are up to at least 30 but whom I just don't ever play anymore... that's going to hurt I bet.

But then! FREE SLOTS! And yet... I'm currently sort of working on two toons, and really don't want to lose them to altitis too, so I may hold off creating anyone new.

But who am I kidding? I know I have one stalker I want to run through the new material and take blueside, a blaster to do the same with and then take red... I think I'll try and stop with that. :P

Oh yes, indeed. I've got some standby villains that I'd like to shift to heroside, and a few concepts for new Praetorian characters, but no heroes-to-villains yet.

It's just that I'm close to the 36-character limit on my main server... <_<;;

I really dont have any new characters waiting on GR at all. I have a few, some of them in the 1-20 range, that I do plan to cross over, but that I don't plan to put through Praetoria (sp?). I could change my mind, but I'm thinking the only characters I plan to make there are the new powersets. As I bought GR early and I have already made all the Pistol and Demon dudes I want, that only leaves Kinetic Melee and Electric Control. I dont really like the looks of what I've seen of Kinetic Melee, so I'll only be making my Electric Control options after GR comes out.

Well, I dunno. Since my friend intends to start a Fire/Traps corruptor for GR, I may re-make mine since he is only level 24. That way we could have a Fire/Traps corruptor duo.

I have a few in mind.

First a Grav/Rad Controller who will duo with a Bots/Traps MM. They will be a Mr. and Mrs. combo who will join a leveling pact If you see them on Virtue be sure to say hi!

Second will be a SS/Willpower brute for when my bf doesn't want to play, will give me something to work on by myself.

After that I'm not sure, I'm toying with idea of a Druid type character since thats the one thing our SG lacks, but while that lends itself nicely to Plant or Earth control with Storm, I already have way too many contol types and a /storm controller already. So we'll see ;-)
