Thanks Avatea, but . . . um . . . this has already been posted on several threads now. For a while now as a matter of fact.

As always, everyone that depends on LevelUP Games (almost all Latin America) is in rage because of the stupid regional IP block, and the incompetent way that LevelUP Games ignores the CoX.

Their last update on the products was the AE.

Many of the brazillians that play this game had to use proxy servers to bypass the block.

Any ticket opened on LevelUP are closed without answers. A total disregard for costumers.

For how long we will be held hostages to those incompetents????

Oh cool. Is this different from the one I bought this morning?

Can NCSoft please put a "Choose US or EU" option on the store.

I am getting really irritated having jump through hoops to get the US versions of boosters/add on packs/GR etc.

Because I'm in the UK, the store defaults to EU and I live in fear of wasting money on a version that is useless to me.

Seriously guys, how hard would it be to give me that option? You KNOW my accountS are on US servers so why would I want to buy EU versions?

It's a nice pack and I love the glowy! Have the "glowing" areas simply been blocked from ambient lighting effects? Extremely cool however it was done, and thank you!

Bravo to the danger of converting to a Rikti monkey for a minute...it shouldn't be a problem for any skilled player. I imagine that it will garner a mountain of opprobrium on these boards, but meh whiners. Having everything go your way all the time is boring. Mutation should be slightly dangerous.

There is one issue that I really am unhappy about:

I am surprised that this pack of all packs does not address the "monstrous" legs, which are being absolutely ignored!

Monster legs have some great wireframes, but the choice of textures is awful. The current choices barely match anything else in the costume creator. The two new mutant sets could take great advantage of the monstrous wireframes, all they need are new textures for the insectoid, hooves, and talons.

As a side note, the same three models would hugely benefit from robotic versions. I made some illustrations of this idea, linked from this post.

I like the new stuff, and I love that some ancient and resounding costume requests (tails/belts, animated tails, wolf tail, sleek boots and gloves, etc.) are finally being addressed! New content is always great, but I would most like to see this game be 100% win, rather than 90% win and 10% what the.

(edit) On further exploration, I have to revisit my opinion: HOW ON EARTH did this pack make it out the door without a new set of claws or two?

(edit) Here's one of the things I've done with the set:

With the advent of Portal technology, many visitors have made Paragon City their home. This being evolved to use both oxygen and methane for respiration. It appears to have a highly advanced form of echolocation, in combination with excellent monocular vision. It has made its home in the sewers deep beneath the city. For all its bizarre appearance and disregard for anything resembling human hygiene, it is extremely intelligent and shows a strong moral code.

Edit: Hmmm, so somebody didn't like my opinion/language/character design in this post, and decided to smack down my reputation, anonymously. I would welcome any discussion...perhaps we both might learn something, and be the stronger for it.

I like the organic armour set a lot, and would love running around with a full set on if it wasn't for these -

Instead i've had to use my creative abilities to cover up these ugly joins at the neck & tail base.

Now @Eskimo-Spy

Balzar and Nakayama's concepts are painfully beautiful, but my machine couldn't render costumes of that detail fast enough to keep the game playable.

I am excited to see Doherty's work in action!

Uhm. The seams at the neck and tailbone were pointed out during Beta. I'm kinda disappointed to see that it actually made it out the door looking like this. I'm gonna buy the pack anyway and just hide that ugly under some hair and a belt but dang fellas.

Also, can anyone confirm whether the bonus wolf tail made it in?

those joins are criminal.

And another 2 bugs already...
Female heads (May affect male/huge too)
1. Organic Armor - With no pattern (None) the eyes glow and the back of the head pattern has a few glowing stripes...
2. Bioluminecent - On the Standard head I cannot seem to get any patterns showing, even tho I can select them.

The new glow wings and tails IMO really need a skin matching option.

The monserous boots have been needing patterns for the longest time (Since they were put in the game.)
also all boots need to allow for patterns too... Exo-Proto boots for example force the Exoproto pattern.

On this subject... The new chest and (skirt) pants of the Organic Armor can take patterns where the gloves and boots cannot.

Oh and Avatea, please check your PM's.

I don't think this one is a bug. Or at least, I hope it isn't.

Question....and partial complaint at the same time: Any reason why Katana didn't get that new blade option? Seriously, the difference between Katana's customizing options and the other 2 bladed sets is getting a little out of hand.

I understand Katana customizations have certain requirements with the set being 2-handed, and those new blades have the potential to be held with 2 hands since there's a slight extension to the hilt.

[/complaint]

Get over yourself.

Neither David nor any of the Devs owe you (nor anyone else) any kind of response for your personal "qualms" when they decided to include the tail in a pack now, as a gesture of good faith to all the furry-parts lovers, who had convinced themselves that the Mutant Pack would have animal parts.

I would say that the level of communication in the test-server run (not beta) of the pack was exceptional.

Back on topic, I got mine, and can't wait to integrate some of the parts into some of my existing toons.

I really hope that the seams issue for this set (and many others) gets addressed down the road.

I would also like to see organic w. skin added, in adidion to monsterous leg options (for both organic and bio-lum) and bio-lum patterns added to tights.

I appreciate sarcasm

... or am I just being sarcastic?

Heh, reminds me of including the inclusion of the "Super Tailor" feature in the Superscience booster - a feature many felt should just be part of the game. Guess how much traction that notion took with the devs?

It's really clever actually... if a player doesn't like anything else in the pack, it proves that they'll pay $10 just for a wolf tail (a piece completely unrelated to the other items in the pack in the opinion of many).

... And if that's true, how much are they willing to pay for other one-off pieces?

But hey, as long as it earns the studio extra money, they'll keep making boosters, including boosters with a gimmick or two attached I'm not necessarily saying that's good nor bad, it's just they way add-ons work.

Regarding buying the booster, then yes, it is annoying that I have to make loops in order to buy the US pack, just because I live in Europe.

On a slightly different subject, I find it wrong that there are no 'with skin' option for Organic Armor. The description and all the artwork are conceptual supporting that, and even the image showing the booster, gives the impression that there is an 'with skin' option.

Well, as there are already humanoid wolves as enemies in the game, it seems very reasonable to add wolf/dog tails for players to use too - and as cat tails have been in the game for like forever, I have to assume you're simply a cat person, and just not that into dogs.

I seem to remember David and Jay both saying that the paws on their fur suits made it hard to type PMs.

1. Why don't they link price to language on the upper menu?
English (US) = $, English (UK) = £

2. Agreed along with my aformentioned bug or two

I'm trying to combine a trenchcoat (sleeveless) with the thorny-less organic armor on the hands... but it won't let me select organic armor. It seems to be un-selectable in conjunction with the trench. Is this deliberate? because I can't see how it'd interfere, like with wings...

Hey look, no scales or giant cat eyes on the concept art. What's up with that?

Or rather, why were they added? The concept/production looks so nice, cleaner design too.
The Concept art for the two new sets is beautiful, I really wish the Organic blended with the skin as well as it does in the Concept Art.

Technically it doesn't blend with the skin at all. It only ever goes over the top of leather/hide/scales.

Also: What is up with the raging lust for Broadsword? Valkyrie I can understand (as opposed to a Valkyrie axe or Valkyrie shields), but I would have expected things like ninjas with bows (we have a special power set for that!) or mutants with claws, and instead we get ninja broadswords and mutant broadswords. Even katanas got very little (1/2 of the ninja choices), despite there being appropriate models for them (mutant).
