Also, can anyone confirm whether the bonus wolf tail made it in?

Aslo reported in beta: fiery aura toggles interfere with the dimensional shift costume change emote.

I'm disappointed that things like this are still slipping through the cracks, And quite frankly I find it difficult to take this company seriously because of simple things like this.

it says "we have no quality control"

it also says "we ignore beta testers"

and seeing the gaps <yuk> between the head/neck and tail/waist is just... omg... I WAS going to buy it...

Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.

It's the ridged bits.

I can't get the Organic costume set to look anything like the one in the concept art. Do you think they'll make a With Skin version?

Well, other than the seam issue, the gloves and boots for the O-Armor, need an option for adjusting the patten one them, the way you can with the chest and and lower body. (mainly so you can keep the glow color, and have the armored parts match the skin color.) Also, How, can you ONLY have a Organic Sword, and not include a shield to go with it, or a war-mace, and axe for that matter? To me this whole pack seemed rushed, and desperately needs an additional patch to cover these issues, and while you're at it you may want to do something with those over-sized eyes, because they're ridiculous.

Just admit, you developer guys really dont read the forum isit?

http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=226185

Same **** again, have to click/login/copy-paste over and over just got get this boosterpack on my accounts. No link AGAIN given to the US version of the pack, if you logged in from a non-US IP addy.

Regarding the buying of packs from non-US IPs, according to Avatea even if you get the one priced in £ and with (Europe) on the title, you CAN apply it to your USA accounts.

This is the PM exchange where I was told that. I HAVEN'T tried it.

Please pass this on to someone.

I'm trying to give you money.

GR
5 boosters
Wedding pack
Mac Pack

On (currently) two accounts.

Really. Small QoL fix so I don't have to worry about my credit card getting done by a proxy.

Thanks.

I'm not convinced we are talking about the same thing.

I live in the UK. Both my accounts are on USA servers.

When I go to the NCStore it only shows me UK options. Now if I understand correctly, if I buy a pack/gametime/whatever through which shows in £ or EU version that CANNOT be used on my USA accounts. IE the product is useless to me.

Are you saying I can buy Going Rogue for £17.99 or the mutant pack for £5.99 from this page:
https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/St...ory&category=2

and use it on my USA accounts?

Because I don't think I can. And that is the page I am directed every single time.

I am having to use a proxy to get to the USA pages.

For example.
http://www.cityofheroes.com/buy_now/...of_heroes.html

To mutant booster:
https://secure.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/St...em&item_id=197

which correctly shows in $.

But if I click on the City of Heroes link at the top to show ALL products I get everything back in £ - EU versions I can't use.

The store needs improvement.

I want to be able to choose EU/US versions as a blanket option. If you have a US account, you shouldn't even SEE the EU stuff because you can't use it.

I appreciate why you have card limit purchases however when I open new accounts I but ALL the Boosters, the Wedding and Mac packs. Currently this usually takes two or three days because of the purchase limits.

It would be lovely if I could open a new CoX account and buy all the boosters with gametime with ONE purchase. A "MegaBooster Pack" if you will. $70 get's you all the boosters and both Wedding/Mac packs. (See, I'm not even asking for a discount; I just want convenience.)

You have a lot of costume nuts in game. I spend more time playing with the costume creator/base editor than playing sometimes and I'm not the only one. You'd make a fortune off an offline-costume-creator. But that's another issue ...

Store. Upgrade. Please. It really is a PITA for your non-US players.

It also works this way for the Going Rogue prepurchase item.

I hope I've clarified things a little for you

Good night to you,

Just "Purchased codes for this pack can be used on US or EU servers" would suffice. The fact it's showing in £ and $ made me think it was region-specific. That and the label "Europe on every item".

Thanks again.

I'd already bought the mutant packs by then but if anyone wants to try it out - you've got a red name who says it will work. Doesn't help the Brazillians though, I know.

Hmm, found my part of the flaw, you cant upgrade accounts that are inactive (no sub active), they are not visible nor upgradable.

Yet, it doesnt check if your selected account already has the booster/upgrade, it wont check untill you've done the payment. Now the account management only say 'Perk' for each of the packs (GvE, mac, booster), so its kinda guessing wich i have to pick.

This code will be automatically applied to your City of Heroes® (Europe) / City of Villains® (Europe) account <EU account that has the pack already>.

Then, finishing up:
This code was applied to the City of Heroes® (Europe) / City of Villains® (Europe) account <EU account that already has the pack>.

And there we go:
City of Heroes® Wedding Pack Feb 13, 2008
City of Heroes® Wedding Pack Jun 25, 2010
(note, i took wedding pack since that one is visible, all booster packs are shown as 'Perk' in the payment history list).

I just gave NCsoft a free 8.99.

So by plain guessing what 'Perk' might be, i aint gonna buy anything anymore. This clearly shows you can add the booster pack multiple times to the same account, without the system actualy checking if i already have it.

Where the disclaimer kills it all:
Please note: Game codes are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Last note, why does the system makes the choice of selecting Euro or Dollar, based on my account? So my US account is quite cheaper then my EU account, both in packs as monthly fee.

I really do wish they (Jay & IDK maybe David?) would revisit the Trench Coat.

IMO - Its always looked more like a leather biker jacket with some sort of nearly weightless pseudo-cape attached at the waistline. It does kinda have the "Neo in the Matrix" look, but only the scenes when he was flying and/or fighting and it was whipping around like mad to emphasis the wire-work stunts.
It looks very much like Neo's coat did when he was flying at Mach~?, to catch Trinity and he had the big trail of cars and various debris sucked up in his 'wake'.

That's fine I suppose - But still, I've been asking (begging) for years if they would add another version of trench-coat, more of a "Duster" type - that you might see on:

A Private Eye/Gumshoe (I'm thinking 'London Fog'), a Horseman/Cattleman (Australian or "Old-West"), a WWI or WWII Soldier, a Prohibition-Era Mobster, or ANY sort of robber/hoodlum/"Natural" Origin AR Hero or Villain = (to conceal weapons)/etc.

I've settled on the Lab Coat from the Science Booster on some toons, but that one really limits what else can go with it, and there's the 2-color choice = 1-Coat, 2-Buttons.

I'm sure there would be some clipping issues when moving, But, I'd happily deal with that, rather than the top half of the current trench-coat having a semi-shiny leather/Naugahyde look...

The worst part is the lower half appearing to be made of a featherweight chiffon cloth - that's always flowing around back and forth - every time I move a half-step in any direction, or pivot round an inch or two.

Even katanas got very little (1/2 of the ninja choices), despite there being appropriate models for them (mutant).
Totally agree with this even though I have 2 of Broadsword/Dual Blades it's time the other weapon sets were given some love. The organic set feels to me as if it's missing bits like a belt and a skin tone body/non-skin tone face. Just throwing in another broadsword just feels like laziness to me and limits the use of the new pack even more. Where's the shield to match the sword (went for a bio-electric shield in the end). How about bio-assault rifles/plasma rifles? How many boosters do have to get before we get any new weapons set outside the BS/DB/Kat sets?

Ok bought the pack, only for the temp power and the fox tail. em growl is nice.

But, must say worse PAID add-on so far.

------
If you are going to do weapons do more than swords. Hell its a mutant pack and no new claws?

No new beast or mutant type heads, bah!

No new skin tones.

Boots/gloves look like well boots and gloves not a seemless from main body.

Organic face should of been an overlay to put on any face.

Rikti monkey? really? if you're going this route with buffs why not give inseperations a 5% chance to backfire as well. Surprised you dont recon the Valkarie mission TP to give a chance to send you to wrong zone.

Even in the tell fortune "fool" at least gives you a run bonus.

Pack seemed rushed and just a money grab to finance GR production.

When I go to the NC store, I am in the european section.
As I play on US servers, I want to buy the US version of the mutant pack.
How do I get it ? there used to be links to US versions of packs before, I don't see it here.

As I had the problem with the first pack I bought, I want to be sure I get the right one.

Thanks

I bought the pack, but it's the least satisfying Booster to date.

Random thoughts:

Both costumes are well done as a whole, but feel very limited in their usage. Too many of these recent outfits do not mix and match well with others (at least not without ending up with a character that looks like they dress in the dark.)

Both sets feel woefully incomplete. The lack of a "with skin" option for Organic Armor is unforgivable.

The scales renders the Bioluminescent set even more limited.

The Female Organic Armor Face is beautiful; I would love to have it without the Organic Armor aspects.

The emotes are nice.

The Secondary Mutation power is something I doubt I'll ever use; the inconvenience of being turned into a Ritki monkey at an inopportune time, even for such a short duration, is too much of a deterrrent.

This is, by far, the most unsatisfying Booster. If future packs are this incomplete and limited, I will be far less likely to part with my money.

Apparently I'm not the only one who has noticed this. I love these boosters for the most part, but this one definitely falls short of the intended theme. If it's a cost issue, I would gladly pay $20.00 for a booster, providing it was done right. I'd like to see a little more effort put into the details please... and since the players are the ones funding your paychecks, is it too much to ask that you read the forums every now and again? People are telling you what they'd like to see, and even though biolumenescence is frikken sweet, I don't remember anyone demanding it the way they've been demanding new monstrous heads and more weapons.
- That is all -

/This/ is why I love reading the forums. Its always good for a laugh or two. For future reference.. 5-15 people out of over 100K saying they won't buy another booster pack because they didn't like /this/ one..doesn't really mean all that much. Granted..the bushy tail /should've/ been given as a freebie to everyone..but..**** happens. Yes.. they probably threw it in there because they knew some people would buy the pack /just/ for the tail..but so what. Its a /business/ first and foremost, and money is /always/ top shelf in a business. If they didn't plan on making money from the game... there wouldn't be a game.

Second..why is it.. that no matter what the devs put in the game, its never good enough? I mean seriously, I'm willing to bet that if they said everyone in the D on Thursday would get 1 billion in ingame money../someone/ would complain about having to go to the D to get it. Come on people.. its /not/ that serious. Complaining about little things like the neck and tail joints? Really?

Who the hell has their camera zoomed in that much enough to notice something like that? Not many. Looks to me like people just like to complain and nic-pick about whatever they can. Probably because its the internet and all that other jazz. Anyway.. I'm done venting and rambling..sorry. Have fun everyone... Oh.. and BUY THE BOOSTERS.. Statesman needs new shoes.

(Also hopefully someone sees the irony in being called out for demanding the devs' attention...over a costume piece that was only included because people demanded it.)

This line of thinking terrifies me, and I hope marketing doesn't get any bright ideas. Of course, I'm currently under the assumption they're at work behind the curtains here already, but that's just an educated guess.

Bioluminescence is a fine example of why I should have read the training room conversations before buying it. Silly me assumed it would be a pattern or aura I could put over armor or tights, not available only as a skin feature. My own fault.

Looks like a gecko swallowed a christmas tree light, pretty much useless unless you want to be a lizardy thing. I really needed more Meh Sauce in my life.

The organic armor is pretty sharp though, I like it. It's got componants that will be perfect for a number of my toons. But it's really not enough to consider this pack worth the cost for me personally..

With Skin... please.

Also having the bioluminescent as a secondary for all (or most) tops / bottoms would be nice.

Oh, it would be just plain awesome to have as a secondary or aura. I'd be working it inot most of my character's Quick, Fast, And In A Hurry.

Right now though it's House of Fail for me.

The set's worth it for me just for the new wings. Fit a few toons much better!

Though I do hope some of the joins mentioned earlier get fixed. (And the S. American folks can buy it, too. That sucks.)

If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.
