Post one of your characters. Tell a little bit about them. That easy.

A character I came up with after listening to some 80s music on my iPod on a long drive one weekend...

(Sometimes, I wish there could be a Dev thumbs up button for quality posts, because you pretty much nailed it.) -- Ghost Falcon

Karma Kincaid

Best known for once beating up a robot (Clockwork Prince).

Updated my own character picture with the new costume. Also includes useless exposition nobody cares about.

No thanks. I played for 2 months and got bored. My friend gave me his copy of City of Heroes cause he got it on the cheap, downloaded the trial first and realized his comp couldn't play it. I downloaded the trial first and was like WoW who? CoX rocks!

I did enjoy my goblin time in Vanguard though. But I'm not planin on goin back there.

CoX is too fun and too cool.

I'm Malus and I'm an altiholic. Thank you CoX, I have a place I can call home.

Edit: Oh yeah, just wanted to say. When CC comes out any ol' jerk off will be runnin around playin a goblin. On here you have to be creative to be a goblin. That's the shiznitz.

I like the costume and the character's style (especially the white shroud over the black), but I can't in good faith say I like the description and/or background. How is killing a person with a gun any more obscene than killing them with a sword, a bow, or your bare hands? You don't have a ghost called the Clobberwraith that bludgeons people to death for in revenge for the use of maces to kill people, do you?

A few years back I was reading through one of the pirates-vs-ninjas threads that tend to pop up whenever Talk like a Pirate day rolls around when it occured to me that a character that was both would be better than either of them. So I made a scrapper whose father was a pirate and his mother was a ninja assassin that was hired to kill him, but in a love at first sight moment, fell for him instead. He was born and raised on his father's ship back in the mid 1600s. When he was 12 they were stalking a merchant convoy near Bermuda when the ship was overtaken by a sudden, freak squall. When the storm had passed he and his parents were the only three people still aboard the ship. His father had often heard about the strange occurances that haunt those waters but had never believed them until they made thier way to the Florida coast and discovered they were no longer when they were.

Being superstitious folk and quite spooked by thier time travelling ordeal, the family made thier way north along the coast, settling in the Paragon City area where they felt that among such an unusual collection of beings they would have little trouble blending in. His parents gave up thier villainous ways, having taken thier situatuion as a sign to begin thier lives anew, and raised thier son to be an honest man. His father taught him the ways of swordplay, strategy, and cunning while from his mother he learned the ways of agility, speed, and deception. Now a young man, he has chosen to don a costume and fight in the name of justice and honor. While his life has diverged greatly from it's original path of bloodthirsty villainy he has never lost his love of the sea and feels a kinship with those that derive a living from it's waves. He has taken it upon himself to watch over and protect the city's waterfront areas and, when in need of earning a living of his own, hires himself out as security aboard freighters that must pass near to the Rogue Isles.

That, in a nutshell, is the story of my DB/SR scrapper, Piratical.

Art by Bakart.

Agreed.
I've seen it among the regular pattern options for pants. On Huge and Male bodies as well.

It's a new texture for the pants, apparently. I haven't seen the texture anywhere else, though, so it might be a teaser.

FUN FACT: That burst of light when you level up is actually the effectiveness escaping from your enhancements all at once.

The very idea of any spirit of vengeance that kills people as punishment for murder has always been a bit of twisted tale telling, regardless of how the spirit does the job.

Man, I like Chamberwraith a lot. Love seeing original costumes that keep to the theme of the bio.

I'll post some of mine when I get home and I can take some fresh screenshots.
