SWGEmu more or less built their codebase from scratch, hence "reverse engineer" I'll be fairly honest, I'd expect there to be legal issues in how you have to use the SWG client, and the fact that the Star Wars IP is not theirs to use.

That article says "fired" instead of "laid off..." I left them a comment though...

Quote:From what I have heard, it's set in the spirit world. A spirit world modeled after Britain. I don't think it's geographically that far from the main Preatoia areas. On the other hand, if Night Ward is set in Britain (I don't know, haven't been there -- is it?), you would expect to see some old police boxes still standing. Maybe Praetorian police boxes are all red except for those stubborn Praetorian Scots who paint theirs blue. :P
That may explain why they're red but I'd like to re-iterate the fact some one told me they are red in certain areas of Britain or the U.K.
Quote:>Dr. Whooves
I don't know why this bugs me so much... and I even like MLP and humanizations...
also, long story short: yes.
Back on topic: This is confirmed? -
Not that I don't find that funny, but this is a serious question, I'd appreciate a serious answer. Preferably from the rednames... though everyone else is free to speculate or point me to a dev saying whether it is or not.

I at first thought they were for a small while, then I reasoned that they were red and there were more than one of them...
Then I learned BBC actually holds the copyright to the design (not joking http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4380929.stm ) so the police can't use that style of police box...
There's also the issue of whether or not police boxes actually are red or if they are blue. I remember some one pointing out it was a regional thing but I;m still not certain. I don't live in the UK. -
I'd imagine that'd come with a shape-shifting AT instead. And as far as "long before now" goes, cryptic was holding the game back. They'd probably say "it's impossible" even though after they left paragon constantly proves them wrong...

This doesn't really go in the game suggestion forum, so I think it'd be best to post this here.
I think that in addition to the live-streams and freedom Fridays there should be regular google+ hang outs.
At the least you should try announcing them well ahead of time...at least a day in advance (unless it's impromptu like the last one). -
Quote:Amazing analogy isn't it?!So they're both ridiculously popular even though they're minor characters and do nothing but bob to music?
I think you mean http://www.legendsofequestria.com/ both are fangames though. Nothing offical. -
-
So who was it that put the poster there though?
-
Well I hope I get in the next google+ hangout then. I can ask there.

I really don't see ponies themselves being a meme as much memes dirivated from ponies. But considering the fanbase got started in the very source of many memes: /b/ I can't really argue against that point.
It was in a poster in the movie theather.

I saw that poster in the keynote and I was wondering this. Some one I know reasoned, that if they were, we'd have unicorn horns....
I also noticed we're lacking in the horse head department. Not that I'd actually use those. ._. It's still fairly easy to make anthro ponies with the costumes we have now, aside from the unicorns of course... -
Christmas was never his favorite holiday, and within good reason: His parents died on Christmas eve.
But it is for this very reason he took to being a hero. So something good came out of it. And I'm sure he's been through at least one Christmas special per contunity to help him shake off his past.
Oh, and at least one fan contunity as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX_C_Na8zuo -
LOL "made of" awesome, I see what you did there!

I'm suprised no one mentioned the snowbeasts. Right now they're the easiest summon to get.
Also when I first heard of the LFG queue mechanic, I thought it was an auto-match system, not some team teleporter for trial content >.> -
BTW I apologize for the poor analogy...
-
I'm saying that you clearly have no idea where the lines are drawn between "crap" "decent" and "good".
This is what one calls "good". -
If this is crap, then by comparison anything I could make in ms paint is decent.
Which it's not >.>
Rockmar's stuff on the other hand, that's decent. -
Quote:Well, pretty much all the info you need is in the description area, including links to virtueverse pages. Thanks, while I try to make them as good as I can considering I only use MSPaint and my mouse, I put a time a loose time limit on myself because I think part of the charm is in the lack of quality. And for the phrases I just make something up that fits the idea I have of the character, I don't actually do any research beyond the information that's given to me.
But anyways, I'll get started on these later tonight -
These are surpsingly decent. Except the battle drones, but I dirgess...
I have a couple, you don't have to do all of em, at least just do the first one:

http://mattwo.deviantart.com/art/Cit...F33846859&qo=6
http://mattwo.deviantart.com/art/Cit...33846859&qo=26
http://mattwo.deviantart.com/art/Cit...33846859&qo=33
http://mattwo.deviantart.com/art/Cit...33846859&qo=28
I'm guessing you look up the character's profiles or something?
Oh and for the first one, you could try having the quote mention how I hate having her being called a "catgirl"
