Suggestion - Regularly Scheduled google+ hangouts.

That's the plan.
I'm currently waiting for some new Hardware before we start doing them, however the idea is to do it like a Fireside chat where the fans can either try to participate or can just tune in.
With the capability to watch Hangouts in progress G+ has gone from an interesting experiment to an actually viable platform, for the purposes of Community Relations at least.

I refuse to use Google+ due to their idiotic "naming policy" and how and when they decide they are going to adhere to it as it is written.
They refuse to allow me to use the name I've used for over 8 years, a name the people I would be talking to on Google+ know me by, a name that I use on several site (including other sites under the Google umbrella).
From their naming policy:

I've deleted my entire Google+ profile and won't touch the site now under any circumstances.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

This doesn't really go in the game suggestion forum, so I think it'd be best to post this here.
I think that in addition to the live-streams and freedom Fridays there should be regular google+ hang outs.
At the least you should try announcing them well ahead of time...at least a day in advance (unless it's impromptu like the last one).
