Further PvP/Ladder
If this were on test, I might be inclined to join. It's entirely too much of a pain to try and outfit a character on live.
"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict
I think (hope?) it will be. Don't want to have wasted all that time building a base and filling it with shinies.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
For right now, let's see how big submitted rosters are. This ladder won't have 100 teams. All of the captains will know each other. I think for now it would be best to simply tell captains to be responsible in recruitment, and not recruit people that are just going to stay on the bench when those people are more than capable of playing for other teams.
As Psoma said: Roster caps don't necessarily translate into more people taking initiative to form teams. At the same time, we don't want the ladder to be comprised of 4 30 man rosters. Let's see how it starts to play out. The old ladder didn't have a cap. If we need one, we will implement one.
I say we implement a rule that march has to play on whatever team Im on. kkthxbye
some thoughts on roster limits:
people that think they should be played and aren't played because they are part of a huge roster have an extra incentive to quit and form their own teams.
newbies have the chance at warming benches and learning a few things by joining good teams (which will let them join since they can bench them if they don't improve while still having a starting 8, and not having to care about the roster cap itself).

I don't know if this has been brought up or not. Another issue I feel needs to be looked at is the email healers (you know what I am talking about). However, untill the devs do something I suppose you can't enforce a rule.

You have to honour system it at this point, turn off emails under your settings and go from there.
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes
I don't think this is much of an issue, observers in and out of match tend to count out green inspirations used and you'd basically become a laughingstock if someone caught you using 40 greens or whatever.

I don't see this as an issue at all, but certainly if yourself and other captains feel it merits attention, it can be talked about. Not seeing it very high on the priority list though.

Unless you Fraps it and count and are in range of sight of the greens being popped there is no way.
LOL... if you're counting greens, what are you NOT doing? Thinking something's abnormal makes sense. Some inordinate amount of greens is obvious, but you can't prove it. Not for DQ's sake, but even to Lol@the person. Basically, here's the thing. It's available to everyone, so as retarded as it is, it evens out. Yeah, it's ****, but no team gains an advantage via Emailed Insps.
Nothing to address. We couldn't "fix" this even if we tried anyway, so people... Grin and bear it. =P
<3
Who the **** would be sorry enough to cheat using emailed candy? If someone wants to be that sorry I say they're welcome to it. Besides.. if you have to use that many greens you're going to die anyway.

Two naughty acronym teams / Ascension / Convenient / Artic and the Chillz / Fap / Other teams I can't remember (sorry.. mind is goin')

solution to the emailed insps:
fite like tru warrir!
no insps in match!

But really, the honor system seems to be the only viable enforcement policy short of going the ridiculous route above.
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

with observers flight being broken, it would be nearly impossible to watch for anyway.
imo this isnt a problem we should worry about policing because we really just cant. best you can do is hope for a fix.
even if you counted 20+ greens being popped people could claim they got them from drops from getting kills.

you just gotta be teh beast of typing in forst to do it quickly enough.
New pre-round ritual: did everyone email their green partner?
Sorry worded my post wrong >.> whoops. I agree that there can't be a rule and like others have said it it doesn't give anyone an advantage because everyone can use it. Although i doubt many teams use the honor system ;p
add to that the fact that it is a viable strategy to send greens to the people that are getting targeted the most mid-match. i've played toons where i don't get touched at all throughout a full match, and we've all heard "i'm out of greens" on vent once in a while. hitting hiber for 10 secs and sending out 5 greens to that dude might be worthwhile.
