We know one thing that it'll contain - type [Secondary Mutation] in-game for a sneak preview

I imagine it'll be roughly another two to six weeks, just to keep things spaced between the still-new i17 and Going Rogue's supposed release in July (I take that to mean "the last couple of days of July.")

But I think you're all missing the big issue here:

First, can one of you mutants out there tell me what this tastes like, and second, does anyone else think Broccoli-Tasting-Man sounds like a good character concept?

Now that you brought this up..., I had completely forgotten about Wings being able to drop feathers at one point. I vaguely remember why they took them out (something to do with colors not matching up), but when/if will we see them again? That was actually a cool little addition to the game that I would love to see come back.

Triumph Server and a spattering of heroes/villians on all others.

you know, it is funny. i recalled reading about it in some exercise magazine, apparently its a chemical in broccoli that is incredibly bitter and most people cant taste it, but due toa neutral mutation, a few people can and it makes it entirely inedible. this stinks because brocc is stupidly good for you especially men because it can help prevent prostate cancer. but it just becomes too hard to get past your mouth, even with cheese or other flavor cover-ups. as for the concept sounds great. the mutants who can taste this(as well as other foods, cabbage, kale, some beers) are called "supertasters" so there is an idea as well, it is more likely to affect women and people of asian or African descent. you can also be clever and link the number tas2r38 to them, that is the gene that determines bitter taste sensitivity, though it is not specifically the mutation for what i was mentioning.

an added mutation that a lot of us have is the ability to digest lactose, so there ya go, new emotes... "eating a wedge of cheese" and "drinking milk"

"Good"? No. But certainly unique.

A fair amount, I'd say. A slight bitterness that varies in intensity. A faint sweetness in the stalks. A sort of sweet and peppery taste to the florets (kind of like some flower petals). And often I find a sort of metallic taste behind it all - it's a taste I often associate with freshwater, and thus I assume it comes from water stored in the vegetable.

I actually like broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagas, and spinach. Can't stand lima beans, though.

"Child of the Atom"
Auto Power (Gained at level 1 on all Mutant Origin Heroes)

As a mutant hero, you are hated and feared by those you are sworn to protect. All co-aligned mobs will attack you on sight. However, you may not betray your heroic ideals and attack co-aligned mobs, even in self defense.

As a redhead (who's slowly turning auburn ), last I read, they figured the red hair gene was going to officially die off. I'll have to find that article again now.

20 years ago? Not sure if you still read comics (or there movies) but they are still running with that dead horse.

...So while all other archetype booster packs give you a power with a minor-to-moderate bonus to your effectiveness, you propose that Mutants get a hefty penalty? Game balance says WUT.

Further nonsense: Since only people who buy a booster get the power in it, those who bought the Mutant pack (while of course still able to use its costume parts) would be punished for playing a Mutant by means of the included "power." Those without the pack would be able to play a Mutant character without issue.

Honestly, did you even THINK about that suggestion?

That's my point. It was tired 20 years ago. It's dead unconscious by now.

Dec out.

I'm with you. It seems that humor and some folk's heads just don't reside at the same elevation.
