What do you name your Soldiers of Arachnos?
My Crab (that started as a Bane) is named The Webspider.
Wild Streak - Lv. 50(+3) Beast Mastery/Sonic Resonance Mastermind, Amnesty - Lv. 50 Staff Fighting/Dark Armor Stalker
My main SoA, however, is a female Crab Spider named Arachnophelia. It's a codename, and really the concept that I developed the whole character around. She's obsessed with spiders, almost to the point of a fetish, which is why she joined Arachnos. She really wants to actually be a spider. I just decided the "Operative" label didn't fit with that name. Although I've never used them, I would guess "Webmaster" would be an effective title for a Crab Spider, while "Commando", or "Executioner" would be for Bane Spiders. I believe I've also seen "Seer" for Fortunatas. |

(Side note I want his armor and the boots the guy on page 21 has as well.)
Well, after finally unlocking my Spiders today (Lemme alone, I'm primarily blue-side and don't play that often anyway) I finally had my opportunity...
And of course I was lame as hell.
Widow: Fortunata DeLancey
Soldier: Arbiter Loop.
Yes. I did the dreaded "Arbiter" name. DX
Ice/Ice Blaster. Dedication to concept is an ugly thing.
Claws/WP Brute. Sex without the angst.
Every CoX character lies somewhere on this spectrum.
Wow. Apparently my Arachnos names were so bad they killed off the thread?
Come on, guys, this was interesting stuff.

I have named my Crab Spider Arbiter Darkleigh. Her name is Rochelle Darkleigh which is an RP name I've used on many characters over the years.
Tactician Kane, Bane Spider Executioner

WolfCrabSpider Flea.
Hey! Don't judge me! He was having an identity crisis.

I have Bill from Arachnos. Poor guy slogged through level one hitting people with his gun because the higher ups didn't think he was worthy to be given bullets.
I've a Fortunata who is to be renamed 'the Ghost's Shadow' when I get around to it, because she's essentially Ghost Widow's stalker. My Night Widow was originally going to be called Spinerette, but it was taken, so now she's the Scarlet Spinerette. I don't like it though, so I'm looking to rename her, too.
Liking some of the names in here, though.
Oh! I forgot to add my male fortunata - Fortunate Flea.

A whole bunch of 50's.
Widow: Widow Makir
Crab Spider (to be): Agent Webb
- Polecat
Huntsman/Bane: Operative Gant (stolen from the Book/Movie Firefox... Clint Eastwood's character)
Crab to be: Operative Aubrey (an MI5 agent from the same book/movie)
Widow: Venomspinner
I took a slightly different spin on the <Title> (Name) naming convention, because, frankly, I'm sick of seeing Arbiter/Huntsman/Widow/Webmaster/whatever. It smacks a bit of laziness, to be honest.
So I named my male Night Widow Jaeger Kharne. Gave him a non-Arachnos uniform ASAP, wrote up a backstory involving his merc-for-hire/double crossing past, reasoned that he only joined Arachnos at the point of a gun (and for the sweet, sweet training), and is in the process of bilking them for what they're worth. Jaeger seemed to fit, because: (1) I didn't want to use umlauts, and (2) He's a "hunter of men". Bounty hunter, assassin, what-have-you.
Strongly considering renaming Fortunata Delancey as Inquisitor Delancey.

Claws/WP Brute. Sex without the angst.

Operative 33. Professional Minion, Currently henching for Arachnos.
My Crab Spider is Operative Bay. He's an old guy who left a prior career as a crab fisherman in frustration after Cap'n Mako commandeered and devoured his entire catch. His outfit is mostly blue. His name is meant to be a play on "old bay" seasoning, which is traditionally used on Maryland Blue Crabs.
My Widow, on the other hand, is Al-Barran, meaning "the scorpion" in Arabic. I've liked the sound of the word ever since I heard it some years back, and it seemed like a good name for a stealthy character with claws. And, after all, scorpions are arachnids, too. Aside from his name, I find this character interesting because I couldn't settle on a single concept for him. Instead, I wrote his bio to list ten or so "rumors" about his background, enabling me to use all my concepts at once.
