I'm only 25 but my mom and dad played, back before City of Villains came out and they are 43.

My grandma plays WoW. She's one of the few Great-Grandmothers I know that plays MMOs. My daughter just turned 1 today, but by the way she keeps trying to grab my mouse, I'm sure it won't be too long until she joins in on the fun!

I lose. I'm only 19. 20 in November.

Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

So I'm curious why these youngsters keep wanting to post in the thread that's clearly labeled as the geezer thread. Is it because it is loaded with petatons of awesome??

Well I don't know about the rest of you youngins, but the molecules that make up my body have existed in this universe for billions of years.

Nope, I'll be 17 soon.

Oldest I've played with and known about was a 57 year old, we were good friends, always farmed together... he had 6+ accounts...

Youngest I've played with would probably be a 6 year old that didn't know how to type too well but still played okay.

I'm 42. One of the guys I used to play with (who left for CO) had a dad who played (and may still play) who was in his 60s for sure.

The Atoms that make up your body may have. The molecules, not so much.

I have a feeling that some of us are just born that way regardless of age, uptight and curmudgeonly.

Others of us get that way very quickly in childhood. Word has it I was an unreasonably happy kid (bordering on autism really.) that rarely cried until I went to school and was immediately disillusioned with my fellows. Maybe it was that point I should have been put out on the front porch in a rocking chair to yell at the neighbors dogs.

My twelve year old would say his dad rocks. If however he manages to make me a grandfather within the next six years minimum, he'll face a very grumpy fortythree year old grandfather

So he be 12 (and on his way to 21 month vet) and me be 37 now (and uhm, ehr.. forgot my vet thingies lol.. 45 now I think..)

The trilogy Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Spoilers:

A race of hyper-intelligent, pan-dimensional beings (who manifest in this dimension as ordinary-looking white mice) built a huge super-computer - the second-smartest computer of all space and time - named Deep Thought, in order to answer the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.

After millions of years of contemplation, Deep Thought revealed that the Answer is 42.

The "mice" were puzzled by the Answer and attempted to fashion questions that would fit the Answer ("How many roads must a man walk down", etc) but were then informed by Deep Thought that their problem was that they really didn't understand the Question of Life, the Universe and Everything.

In order to understand the Question, Deep Thought instructed the "mice" to build the first-smartest computer of all space and time. A computer so large and so advanced that organic life would be part of its operational matrix.

The third smartest species that lived on this computer called the most advanced computer of all space and time the rather mundane name of "Earth."

This super-computer was destroyed to make way for a hyperspace bypass, but not before implanting the Question into the mind of one of the last surviving members of the third most intelligent species of this super-computer.

The Question: What do you get when you multiply six by nine?

{Edit}

The most intelligent species that lived on the super-computer are, of course, the white mice themselves, who take great pleasure in suddenly running the wrong way thru a maze while appearing to be searching for cheese.

The second-most intelligent species are, of course, dolphins. The dolphins fled the computer just before it was destroyed. Just before they left, they attempted to warn the third-most intelligent species of their home's impending destruction (also saying "So long, and thanks for all the fish.") but the warnings were misinterpreted as backflips thru hoops while whistling the Star-Spangled Banner.

To my intense amusement I find that I've been neg repped for it.

So while we all laugh at the rep troll, and mock him for being so clueless, would anyone care to let him know what the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything is so he knows how old I am.

LMAO classic. That's hilarious. What a poltroon!

42

Although specifically, 42 is the answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe and Everything.

I'm 29...

The oldest player I teamed with as about 44, Aura, back in 2005... she also happens to be our oldest ever GoEH member, albeit briefly.

The youngest GoEH member was 16, MaXimillion, back in 2005, until he was knocked from his throne by Lilykhi who was about 12 around 2007.

The youngest CoH gamer I'd teamed with was an 8 year old who was going to tell his mum because I'd kicked him from the team I was in. Only reason I kicked him was for the amount of bad language he was spewing. After I told him that I'd show his mum what he'd written, he soon apologised. I still didn't invite him back on to the team though :P

Are any of our esteemed moderators in the "not-uber-young" category? Dare I ask, is there a mod who was born prior to Ronald Reagan's presidency? Doesn't matter one lick...just following the curious trend of this thread.
