So, I'm at the end of running Sutton with a team, on the last AV's and suddenly my scroll no longer is zooming my view in and out, it's controlling the sound volume! Not only that leaving the game there's no change, scroll is running sound volume and not scrolling the page up or down. This is after doing the patch today.

I can find nothing on my computer controls that would allow me to do that much less any way to change it.

I'm stumped...

...I'm gonna have to study on Dillo, see if I can come up with a voice. Voices of NPC's was one of my favorite things to do back in the D&D days. My throat still feels the hurt I put on it doing Shadow Dragon voice

I was wondering, what was needed? It says above some change alts to cover missing AT's. A shortage of scrappers? Or something else.

I can wait for whatever the owners want to do to make play better in the future. Can you imagine the whineage if they didn't do this? With Free-to-play vastly increasing the server load I'm thinking there'd be nothing but problems with that, worse than you'd believe I bet.

Besides, game costs by the hour is about .02 cents an hour, 12 hours is .24 cents. What do you want for your .24 cent loss?

I took a team of 8 on an ITF a couple of days ago. My first to lead. I had 1 other person who had done it before and I was glad about that. We did it slow and it went amazingly well. The part where you pull the AV's down, I've never seen how it was done so I was real happy the other experienced guy knew how. Worked our way up the right side to Rommie. Killed all the traitors before we got to him Best thing is we took our time, the one luxury you didn't have.

I don't know why I don't lead more often, lack of responseability I guess

For the last hour there has been "chain" mini-mapserves. It's completely unplayable as it stands.

Big thing here is unless you're on my Global I wouldn't know you at all nor you me. I play too much and have a tendency to run an alt to fifty, don't have altitis.

I'm sure you've noticed playing with the same people of the same level or more likely the same time you play. I know I get friended a lot due to getting invites as soon a I log in no matter what I am logging into.

Do you run under the DrGemini or variations of the name? I can't off hand remember. I play odd hours, too, so it could be likely if your Villian side

I started a thread here once, old forum incarnation, entitled "End Sucking Pig" It was about my SS/DA brute. All anyone would say is the DA powers are "situational" :P

The numbers here are almost irrelevant. The game for the most part was built by 8 people. With NCSoft there's now 50 developers. It has become the training school for NCSoft. The top people stay and new programers are moved in and out per project as needed. This is good for us as the numbers are good enough to sustain CoH for quite a while longer.

And within days people were trying to do speed runs.......

Want more people to play? Drop the subscription price. I know, .50 a day isn't much but at .33 per I think we'd pickup about 200k and at .25 hit the million mark. You can't convince the bean counters of this, though. So we have a 6 year old game, one of the best on the market IMO, and seemingly unable to grow.

One thing is I don't know the prices of other subscription MMO's, are most of them around the same as this one?

Worse thing you can possibily do is like use your regular email address for a Craig's List listing. I did and the phishing SPAM exploded. Listed last year and I still get 30-100 a day

Claw is my latest attempt to get a Scrapper to 50. Out of all my 50's I have no Scrappers Maybe this one will keep me interested long enough to get it there.

Level 50's in this server with a total of 36 overall.

Got no more slots open and I'm loath to move any to a lesser server, this is their home and I won't move any despite the free transfer thing.

Now, when I do get more slots I'm moving my main, ill/rad controller and first tank here. I'll be buying 3 slots for them and my next new level 50

My luck isn't that good, never has been, never will. I quit raiding in Guardian when my streak of getting the same thing raid after raid made me stop. I mean, how many dam/range HO's can you slot? Dang things are STILL nearly worthless and it got so I was just giving them away. Purples? HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Got THREE since they started, my luck. One of those was comparitivly worthless, too.

I'll keep the sure thing, that's why it's there.

Oh, I know that you'd know who I am at the raids, I run Joe Idaho and 9lives. Next raid 9lives will be sitting it out to see if my Ice Earth Tank Frozn Stone can do the job of being Main Tank and solo Hami for the evacless raids we're running now.

I raid with 2 alts in Virtue, 1 for each instance. So I'm at 6 raids a week and what I raid for is merits. At 53 per raid every 4 days I have enough merits to craft 2 Luck of the Gambler +7.5% recharge IO's and these days I'm getting 175,000,000 inf x 2.

I don't buy purples so I'm getting filthy rich

When I logged into Virtue after the shut down I was getting about a 10:1 naughty to nice. I joined a team and haven't tried lately :P

Snow'd about 2-3 inches and has thawed already, typical for Boise, ID winter. :P

They're skiing up at Bogus Basin now and I've heard the snow is pretty good. It's a whole 18 miles from town
