Previous iterations of this topic have turned up players in their sixties. Seem to be more of them as time goes by. In another decade, we'll have a whole crop of "seniors" who were amongst the first wave of MMO's and who think nothing of playing online games for entertainment. I think the youngest player (that I know of) that I've played with was like ten? She was playing with a parent in e PuG I was in in the Hollows, most likely on another parent's account because she was running a squiddie. She was pretty cute; her Keldian(sp?) kept saying "meep!" and I'd go "Hm, must be squid-talk."

I have met many others close to my age ingame.
I occasionally make social references to older trivia items that sail over most of the other players heads, but will result in tells from other people who lived through the older years who recognize the references.

You have to be careful though, or those in jokes will backfire on you.
For example, years ago, I used to think it was funny to mention overhearing some kids talking,
and one said "Hey! Did you know know Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings?"
That became much less funny a few years later when I told that, and one of the people there asked "Who is Wings?".

I can confirm that I was born in June of 1946. Maybe not the oldest but definitely a member

57 here. Love Silver Age comics. Have played miniature wargames since the 1960's and computers are even better. I like the interaction with the players - generally a very nice group, many spectacularly helpful and friendly people. The only rudeness I've encountered is from some whelp who deduced from my use of complete sentences and general lack of 1337 that I was somewhat older than the norm and proceeded to mock me as @ 01d d00d lol wtf 111!!!
At least I don't have to worry about whether my Mom will keep letting me use her credit card!
