How Well do you guys Treat New Gamers,I notice people treating people sometime badley because He/She or Shemale are Noobs.Well Then New Players ,Die Quicker or don't no how this toon works out or anything about a build.May i remind some of you guys that we all been New Player at one point,Ok So they not good at Playing there toon right,Ever Stop to Think of helping them out and Teach them the ropes. If you don't help them They going alway be bad at playing this game,So help them out.If they never listern and do what they want, then they Not Noobs but Dumb Azz.I am An SG Leader and Always Love helping New Players,I even became good friends with some of them and they became even better at the game then I did over time.I remeber When I was a Newbie I wasn't getting any help,Didn't even no how to play a Fire/Invul tanker Until I join my First SG and I was help out alot,So If you can help another player out.Don't get mad and kick them or make fun of them,Try to Have patience with them and Aid them as much as Possible and this game will be better for All of us.

I didn't write this to preech or To spam a Random MessageI really Wanted to no Something about what you think of New players in this game,Do you have fun helping them or do you hate them and want them Gone, tell us why you hate them and why you like them.

I find most of the new players I come across generally say they are new, and generally take advice well.....and as I normally team with the same people whenever we come across a new player we all try to help them. We genearally play normal content unless someone has made an AE arc they want us to try out and stay away from the AE, but the AE has left fewer new players in the normal zones than usual, and we have had a few scary moments when a lvl 40+ has asked what is an SO and IO, but we realise "We live in interesting times" and have the same patience with them as any other at the moment.

It's after 3 or 4 missions when they still don't seem to take advice that we change our minds

Lolz i was in a Respec trail with this new player(Vill side Nerva respec) and we had to kill the vines so we could kill the AV tree but he kept saying "I KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO DO!!!! WE NEED TO KILL THIS THING" over and over even after we told him to kill the vines frist but he kept saying it and final after like 20 mins he stoped

To be honest, I suppose it depends on my mood. I try to always treat well, but, I admit that sometimes I am not in the mood to put up with bad play. However, I spend most of my time teamed with people I know so it isn't generally a problem.

In my experience, someone who gets introduced or comes on board with a friendly and open, "I am new, feel free to give advice", attitude tends to get treated very well by most everyone that I have seen. I would certainly rather know that then agonize over whether I should say something.

Kat has kicked me from more teams than I can count. It's true.

Good answer; I think I'll borrow it!

In order to survive, the game needs new players to replace those who leave. I want the game to survive, so I like seeing new players. That said, my appreciation, or lack thereof, entirely depends on the player him/herself. As Kat said, if the person has a good attitude and a willingness to learn how to play well and use his or her chosen powers to the best advantage of the team or positively contribute to the community, I'm more willing to be patient and helpful.

That goes for any player - new or old. I've spent nights where all I've done is answer questions in the various help channels when people seem like they really need help. I've taken people on tours of zones and had them pass enhhancements to me so I could help them figure out the difference between TO/DO/SO and invention enhancements. I have a standing offer on the forums to log or create a character on any server to help someone get all his or her alts into a small Supergroup. A person's level of experience matters less to me than a person's value to the community, willingness to be thoughtful of others, efforts to lean, and general humor and attitude. You don't have to be a vet player to be a good teammate and being a doofus isn't limited to new players.

n00bs are fine until the point where it becomes obvious they're not interested in doing things, but just asking and asking and ASKING AND **ASKING**... which means that you're not playing either, which sucks.

Go forth and learn, padawan, then come back maybe and ask a couple more things, then go forth and apply that advice, and so on.

Game's meant to be discovered, not hand held through it.

/Which is why I keep rolling new ideas out for characters and trying them.

I notice on Some Online MMo,people sometimes treat Noobs really Badly,If they mess up once, boom they are kick form the team and some Guilds or Clan won't even Inivite them into there group.I am glad to see Coh Player are looking out for each other and helping out the young players in this game.Yes I Agree,we most help them out,I once help a Noob out one Time.when Me and LaVeys Was Running the AF,That Noob later on became a Perc Rep and even help run other sg and plan other ingame Events.Thx For the feed Back, maybe one the Reason i kept on playing this Game,is because how great you people treat one other.

I enjoy new people, they give good bait!

Also, I LOVE people who have not Meow'd their way to 50, but played the game.. I can 150% say I HATE AE, HATE HATE HATE, but that's just me... There are good stories, but we all know what happens, it sucks...

That said, I'm way more than willing to help out the new people, and most times if they're fun to mess with, I drop 30-40mil on them to get the new shiny they want. Like someone said, if you're willing to learn and ask questions we'll get along...

So I guess after saying all that, I like those who don't fall into the AE trap, but if they do, being a "good player" and a "good person who plays the toon" has a HUGE difference in my reaction. I as well love this game, most of the time, and really want it to stay around a LONG time..

Now gimme all yerstuffz!

I've seen plenty of rude people who need help but insult or dismiss anyone who offers. That's all the reason I need not to be nice to someone. Thankfully, the majority of the people are appreciatieve.

I think that the best way to help new players is one on one on a team or through tells. I usually get very positive responses that way.

But other times when I have said virtually the same things in a full team or a global channel the person got a little defensive; probably because they feel belittled, even though I was just trying to be helpful.

I tend to attempt to be nice to noobs (and bads, for that matter. "I HAEV 65 MUNTH SO SHADDUP LOL!!" if you know what I mean) but I probably wouldn't if this game was in any way hard.

And like others said, I'm more than happy to help people who are open to suggestion. Ignorant dumbtards, while fun to screw with, are much more difficult to be levelheaded with.

First off, new players are great. In any game as in life you have those people that will rise up the ladder just so they can look down on those below them. These people are called Jerks and they are the real issue. We are all real people and just like on the street attitude is everything. A positive pleasant person will have no problem finding a helping hand. Your little survey will turn out a bit askew as a majority of the Justicites forum crowd are corrupted with a level head and helpful personalities. Due to this sad affliction they are prone to take taking time from there own playtime when they see a hero with his cape tucked in his pants and help the poor soul out when it's obvious he should be berated and pelted with rocks. :P

I'm always willing to help, as long as the person asking isn't pushy, belligerent or a prima donna. Also, if you find yourself mentoring someone in a team situation, I've found it's better to praise publicly and criticize privately.
