AWSOME! Was my biggest complaint about there not being a AE in a low-level co-op zone! Trick is now getting to the AE in the RWZ at low levels, but we'll manage somehow.

While on the whole this is great...it is nice to join a group you're two or three levels below and get a bit of a boost. As I read it, this means if you're two levels below the mission owner, you'll be sked to one level below mission level.

As for the exempler...sometimes, a mission owner just wants a mission over and done with. For example, Nosferatu or the frigging empteenth encounter with the Envoy of Shadows. So you just want someone way over your level to come in and take the foe out. I've always thought the "quit and stay in mission" was a bug, and in fact in some cases quitting the team does eject you.

One last thing, what about TFs, who is the "mission owner"? If it's the team captain, what happens in this case: Hero A is 15th level and forms a team. First person he invites is Hero B, 10th level, and adds a couple more 15th levels. Halfway through the first mission, captain disconnects and Hero B becomes new captain. Is the team all exemplered to level 10?

OK, one more question. When you say you make XP while exemplered, does that include auto-exemplered in a TF? If so, that's great.

I just have to say this part....

HAHAHA! No more bridging! <haven't read the entire thread so sorry if this has been asked> Is this to include the AE Farms where somebody is auto-promoted to lvl 45, one or two members are 50 and the other 6 the 45s, and all the mobs are 54?

SO happy about this one. I thought it couldn't be done.... thought the farms couldn't be stopped. But I was wrong.

Also, e-mail changes-- superb. Bye bye RMT spammers!

I started couting the amounts of 'wins' I should be commenting on, but my shoelaces got into a knot. So lets just call it lots of win!

I especially like the phrase 'mentor tetris'

Makes it easier for a low level character to team with high level characters, but since they won't be sk'd to a 46 on a level 50 mission, they won't get the 'power-level' aspect that they we're usually referring to. They will get normal XP.

Thank you! i16 is looking better all the time, as is the direction CoH/V is going overall.

When does it go live again?

I admit to being conflicted on i16: I want it NOW, but I also want it right. So take your time and test it thoroughly -- just do it quickly.

There is a massive difference between the two.

With the character friends list, I cannot make a villain character a friend on a hero, or vice versa. This means that if it's limited by the character friends list, I will never be able to get e-mail from a villain on a hero or vice versa.

If it's limited by the global friends list, there is no issue.

Please clarify what you mean by "friends list" since there are two different lists in game.
Current implementation on Training Room is "character" friends list.

Hay super excited for the new feature but i'm curious what you mean by losing powers while exemped down, that's how it works as it is.

How will this affect teams who aren't doing missions? I know that street sweeping is far less popular than it once was, but I certainly hope that one can still manually sidekick friends for purposes of mission-less street sweeping and travel across zones.

But if you can still manually sidekick, then it seems to me that one could still bridge via street sweeping.

I also hope that additional levels of reputation can be added. At mission difficulty 5, one could only face foes that are +3 to the mission holder, or +4 to auto-sidekicks. That would leave street sweeping the only way to face more challenging foes (absent increasing numbers). I know +4 missions are purple, but I also know that some superheroes are up for uber-purple minions.

OK generally good things all around but a question about the auto exemp feature.

Say, for example you have a team with a couple of mid 30's and a couple of 20's. You've just finished doing some lv 30-ish missions in St. Martial and are standing outside the door waiting to see whats next. The team leader selects one of the lv 20something missions for the next run. Does this mean that everyone now has to worry about the level of the mobs of the streets or does this only go into effect when you enter the next instanced mission?

If this was mentioned in the OP, I might have misunderstood.

Task Forces have always required characters to be of the minimum. We've never been able to SK into them. I see no reason why that would change.

So one L50 SKing 7 level 1s to L50 and running around a map defeating things to level them up is easier than what we have now? Sounds to me like it would be far, far slower.

also, sometimes you get an annoying mish youre tryin to finish real quick and grab a lvl 50 to finish it for you. it sounds like this new super sk feature gets rid of that. any luck on more auto complete mishs to make up for it? theres times when you just need to finish a mish fast, like when its the midnighters arch and u have one mish to go and just want to blow through it with a lvl 50 so u can do the ITF (happened to alot of friends with alts that are rushin to finish up to get access to chimera).

unsure if this new system allows u early passage to chimera too without having to complete the midnighters arch.

I knew I was forgetting something.

With no mission selected the team is SK'ed/EX'ed to the Team Leader (the person with the Star).

Maybe I'm missing something here... I don't farm or PL, so I'm not completely familiar with the mechanics, but the impression I had was that part of the reason (discounting exploits) why AE was a PLers dream was because it auto-SKd lowbies up to the required level. You're planning on doing this to the entire game?

I hope I have the wrong impression, as I love the sound of it otherwise. Removing the last of the restrictions around teaming is going to be a HUGE help. I just hope it can't lead to another AE-sized mess.

AE auto-sk's lowbies up to the *ideal maximum exp* level. This is going to auto sk to 1 level below the mission holder, not 5 levels below.
