The tier program -- How many 60+ month vets?
Got my 63 month badge a week ago, so I assume I'm in the first wave.
Champion-
Flaming Intern/Tanker(main)
The Ice Albatross/Blaster
Apollonius/Controller
Valtrix/Defender
All the tank sets in the Intern variety
Burning Intern/Brute(CoV Main)
And the list goes on...
I wouldn't be surprised if there are quite a lot of 60+ month vets. I'm one after all.
I was wondering that too... seems to me that there can't be that many active ones. At about 61 months myself, so hey. I'm happy.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
Based on the announcement alone, I would say that it would be one wave of 60 + month vets.
Now, they may shortly announce that they find a way to split that into waves, but I am not sure how they would do that.
Perhaps:
Users who never unsubscribed at all
63 month vets
60 month vets
etc
That might give them a chance at waves *if* they find they need waves at all for that part.
I am hoping there are still many many 60 + month vets out there.

I hit 63 months on August 1st. It would be nice to get in on some beta testing. I haven't done that in a long time. I think my last beta test was Issue 9.
If it's much like the CoV beta testing, the first wave will probably have to deal with immense lag. So folks shouldn't expect to jump in and have fun playing. It's very much a test environment in the beginning.
I got my 57 month badge in july, so I'll the 60 month badge well before the tier 2 loyalty guys are ready. So, depends on when beta starts.

I got my 60 month Vet reward the first of July. Yay me.
I got 60 the first week of July too.
Thing to remember too though, is that this game has a staggering number of long-term vets. Plus, the time frame that they're using (at least, the way I'm seeing it) is that *current* 60s - at that time, when Beta is going up - will be more numerous because it's a few months from now.
Myself I would LOVE to see the actual numbers of folks subbed, how long, when they took breaks. I'm a fiend for demographics like that.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
I'll have my 60 month vet badge on November 22.

New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):
So, you want to join the Hellions? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
Sparks & Steel (level 5-20 Heroic arc)
and
So you want to join the Skulls? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
I've just gotten my 57 month badge and will get my 60 month one at the end of October. Given that the offer granting Tier 2 access runs until mid-November, that means I'll probably see most, if not all, of Tier 1.
Then again, they may not start the GR beta until 2010, in which case I'll definitely see it all.
I hope I was joking in that last sentence.
Around the same, my friend whom I introduced to the game, will get his 66 month Vet badge. Stupid account system due to the transfer to the EU...

Governments have fallen to the power of social media. Gaming companies can too.
I *should* have 60 months. I actually joined about a month after release, but then I got a second account which became my main account and I let the subscription lapse for 2-3 months or so, so I'm nearly a year behind where I "should" be overall.
I'm envious of all you old timers
Got mine in July. I hope I can test the beta more than I did in the CoV beta.
I got my 63 month badge on my main account this week, and will be getting it on my secondary account next week. I'd say I'm in the first wave. And i plan on staying succribed... so i'm in the second wave... and i'll preorder unless CO just freaking blows me away when i try it next month, so i'd say i'm in 3rd wave too...
I'm guess i'm getting in eh? LOL

Got my 57 month one in July (despite my account saying i now have 60 months ov veteran reward time) the 60 month badge won't be awarded until october. Go figure.
Contacted suport about it, but they say it's fine, but looking at my rewards there's a 3 month gap where they claim i unsubbed from the game, which i know i havn't. And would be odd since it does claim i have 60 months time
Ah well, not too fussed i just think it's odd.
I'm at 63 months now - but i prob wont test it. I like to see the finished product, not have the shiney worn off early. I'm just weird that way i guess....
*nerf* Darn! Oh well.. I will just have to rebuild. Ah.. this works *nerf*

I wouldn't assume that Tier == Waves. I think it more likely that the different Tiers are Priority Pools from which they'll pick from when filling wave. They'll start filling waves from Tier 1. Once Tier 1 is exhausted, they start pull from Tier 2, etc. I imagine that they'll start with a hundred or so, then a couple hundres more and slowly start to open things up until it's hundreds per wave.
I'm a 60 month vet. My luck though I'll finally end up with work when they start doing the GR Beta and it will be in another city/state. I can only hope.
While the forums were down the tier program for access to Going Rogue closed beta was announced. I assume this will be similar to how City of Villains worked where (For those that don't remember) people with 1 year or more of game time got access to the beta first. However, back then there was so many people with 1 year of time the waves nearly lasted the entire closed beta.
Now we have a new tier program announced:
Tier 1 (Which I assume means first) is 60 month veterans.
Tier 2 is people that stay loyal (Subscribed) between now and Nov. (I am going to guess this means we should see Going Rogue beta start perhaps in Oct so that T2 gets in Nov)
Tier 3 is people that pre-order.
Now I am one of the (few?) 60 month+ veterans out there. I wonder though just how many of us are there. Do you think it will take several waves or perhaps we make up such a minute number of the player base now we all might get in first wave?
