Generally Defenders solo. They just suck in terms of pace. Controllers vary more but Defenders win hands down on slow.

Hasn't dual builds helped a fair bit here though?
Note: that's actually a proper question, not rhetorical - all my defenders are still on a single team-oriented build.

Perhaps because I haven't rolled a ss/wp brute, but I just find them *very* boring to play.
I love playing defenders for some reason, I think that they can be one of the most fun AT's in the game. Granted, solo isn't so hot but meh!

I actually like Defs, and have quite a collection of them. Rad/Rad in particular can be turned into an unstoppable nuclear death machine...
The only AT I have real trouble playing is Tanker, simply because I've never mastered the art of the perfect herd.

Controllers can lock down mezzers, defenders can be mezzed and perma mezzed. Blasters get Defiance at least.

I won't play click buffers, like force fields, cold domination etc etc. I also quite dislike tankers, tho i am trying to get one up now, i have a 20 something shield tanker 
I tend to generally dislike support characters.
Dealing silly amounts of damage sits more well with my personality i think, i like Scrappers, Brutes and Blasters the most.
I can't really bring myself to play either of my 2 Controllers myself. Dunno why, but they just tend to bore me a little, I think.

Anything that cant do reasonable amounts of damage cant usually keep up my interest. Regardless of AT.

Tankers and dominators. I have one of each and have difficulty with them. Tankers because I don't understand the beasts. Dominators because I just don't like them.
If you need just one, it'll be the dominator. That'll be the one to go when I need a new slot.
More about powersets for me, energy melee is slow and boring, not masochistic(sp?) to play emps or ff. Most villains tend to bore me since leveling from 25+ is slow and paperspam makes me sleepy.
Warshades. I just can't get into them. Never managed to get one past about lvl 6 before deleting for a new alt.
However, it turned out that Smith was not a time-travelling Terminator

I couldn;t get into controllers at all for a while, tried Ice, Grav, illusion, fire and last of all Earth. Finally enjoyed it and now she's level 50.

Stalkers and dominators for me. Although I have tried every AT, those are the only two that haven't managed to stay on my lengthy list. I don't like playing tanks much, but have managed to keep three.
As for powersets, the one I dislike most is Spines, I've tried it a few times but only kept one, mainly in the hope that someday I'll be able to customise it and then I might like it a bit more.

Altoholic with too many characters to count now I have all these shiny servers...
I was very proud of the fact that My level 23 Claws-Stalker 'Wombat Combat' was Union's worst stalker. Poor little critter couldn't even get assassinate right when two Heroes were standing in the Bloody Bay gas/waterworks talking amongst themselves. I don't think they even reacted past smiling at him.... he went off with his tail between his legs.

This, I hate the look of Spines, its like looking at Bananas coming out of your skin.

What is the ONE character AT (in general or a specific combination) you just can't bring yourself to play?
It could be that you just can't get the hang of them, or you just can't think of a character that works for you. Or, perhaps you have the perfect costume in mind and it doesn't exist yet.
Whatever the reason - talk about it here.
for me it has to be stalkers. getting them passed the low lvls is insane for me. then would have to be dominators (but then it is down to teaming for the dominators. stalkers i can slowly solo but doms is again insane for me)
what about u lot?
