A /petstuck command for whenever my two Arachnobot Disruptors and Arachnobot Blaster all attempt to exit an elevator at the same time and end up burying themself inside the walls with no way out.
Useable by both MMs and non-MMs, of course.

That would be handy, but there is a workaround if you have Herostats. Just run the Herostats in-game information window with the timers "always on top" (it doesn't take much space and is quite handy anyway) - I do that and during the 30sec logout I can click that Herostats window to bring up the toolbar and select something else (such as a browser window) - then while CoH/V runs in the background the countdown timer continues to tick, regardless of what you do.

I'd like to see the Exploration badges listed alphabetically and the two extra tabs added for Flashback badges and Crafting badges to reduce the length of the Achievement badges.

I also fully support Valk's difficulty selection suggestion.

This would be great and would mean you have to generate more inventive excuses than "teams full" when you dont fancy inviting someone to the team, for whatever reason (not necessarily that the person asking is bad: sometimes you're just happy the way the team is)

- Logout to char select would be a godsend
- Everything Valkryst suggested would be spot on
- another uni in Villains would be ideal

or as someone suggested just an old building would be great, even if the conceit is that the guy's just setting up a business but villains keep breaking in to use his stuff. Put a vault in there too :P

- oh and the hinted at recipe storage.....

When Cryptic added fly poses, they rotated every ¿5? seconds. People complained and they changed to commands.

Pretty handy all round I think, most of these would be great. Personal thoughts would be more to do with my O.C.D For example, I like to have the highest tier insps I can and arrange them in pretty little patterns in my tray. The ability to buy level two and three inspirations (even at a huge increase in price, say 100k and 1 mil for the next two tiers) would be nice. Plus the ability to rearrange my enhancements without a full respec. At the minute I have to buy enough enhancements to fill in any slots I currently have. Which can be expensive

I'm sure there are other things too, I'll ponder it a bit and post 'em later.

Oh yes! Barrel Rolls and loop the loops for Fly! Missed opportunity that.

Yeah, I did this with Winamp back when I used it - minimized to the top corner. But an external workaround is always worse than the real thing (also, if you're real quick about clicking the logout and alt-tabbing, it works as well, but as this is quality of life improvements... )

Hi GR,

I already put this to player questions and helpful souls suggested to post here. Now I am pretty sure I am not the only person who suffers with peripheral nerve damage or a similar affliction that makes using a mouse or similar device hellish. so maybe a suggestion to add some form of keyboard commands for interacting with glowies and mission doors etc.

Not sure if this is QoL, but could we get the option to change character height after character creation if at all possible? If it is impossible to do this for each costume slot seperately, could we get a bar somewhere that affects it for the character as a whole, anyway?

I already sent in a suggestion about this first one. Please display the price that you can buy a general IO recipe from a crafting station, in the black market/consignment house. Just because I may happen to have a notepad laying nearby to jot down this number, doesn't mean whoever is selling their recipes will.

Second, I want to be able to add items to a wishlist or (in the case of inventions) a build list. This would mean less hopping around and expanding/collapsing trees in the market window. It would help me to pick out the right bits from my personal storage vault more quickly. If applied to the crafting station, I would be able to filter with 'only recipes on build list' and get an estimate of what's needed for everything on my build list, not just individually. I suppose another groovy tool would be the sell list, which has on it all the stuff I don't want to use. When interacting with an NPC that can buy your stuff, a 'show stuff on sell list only' option or even a 'sell everything on sell list' option would be great!

Thirdly, a more transparent area map which picks a zoom level slightly under fully zoomed out would free up valuable screen space.

You know, GR, I'd just like to say that I read that and I actually sat here in my office and said "Oh, WOW!" Seriously.

That bug has annoyed the heck out of me recently (I wasn't even sure it actually was a bug, rather than a "feature"), and the only way I've been able to stand it is when I and my wife are playing at the same time on the same team, and specifically to avoid being hit by it we would zone at different times.

If there is a way to change this, I'm all for it: When teaming, please if a trainer or other location is selected (such as a staion or store) can it be prevented from being unselected either because a new mission is up or because a member of your team has just zoned in/out of an instance.

Possibly not my best explanation ever so I'll try a step-by-step here:

I am in a team of 4 in Faultline.
We have all levelled and are coming out of an instanced mission.
I locate Mirror Spirit on the map and head towards her.
Someone who was slower at loading pops back into the zone and she is deselected.
I open the map and select again.
The team leader puts up the new mission. They select it.
Mirror Spirit is once again deselected. I head towards the new location (because, yes, I'm not thinking!).

It's only a small thing but I'd like to see it 'corrected' if indeed it is a thing that can be done. The example I gave is probably not the most annoying (heading to shops in Indy Port has caused a few near breakdowns so I've stopped visiting them now. Or else I only go there with Mutation Origin heroes )

Actually this is a "fix" for a previous problem that existed before I8 IIRC, when the active mission selection was de-selected when someone zoned. Go figure...
I vote for this to be fixed with a better solution instead of reverting back to pre-I8 behavior!

And while posting here, something totally different:
Can they make each character slot to remember it's last colors even if switched to SG mode?

Forgot about that one arctic princess but I totally agree.

I would also like to see

Globals-Displayed in search an SG window, so I know who I'm playing with.

SG symbol set to off as default- the number of times I've run round with a big symbol (probably in odd colours) pasted on my chest kinda distresses me.

I also like the ideas about better storage/shop/AH interaction.

The option to replace people who drop from TF's would save everyone a load of wasted playtime and frustration.

Filter the 'less useful' TF rewards, those worth less than 150 K say and give them as rewards for story arc completion.

A lower rep option for my healer if i want to solo him (he hits like my Granma), and perhaps a more varied option set for difficulty as Val said.

Mini forums accessable through base for SG communication.

Lengthen ranges for insp passing (I know you can act as a semi healer but only as long as your stock lasts) but passing them when everyone isn't entirley still is too frustrating too be bothered with most of the time.

Lengthen range on SKing, I've faceplanted/ caused faceplants far too often because of this.

Tier 2/3 insps at a reasonable price from shops say 25-50 k for a large considering WW prices.

E-mail trading including between alts, as you can just get a mate too pass what you want anyway which is just time consuming and frustrating. Hence this is a Qol change even if it goes against a policy of 'No feeding the alts'

Equivalant vault storage for all your inventory not just salvage.

A WW and crafting consesion in Pocket D so someone actually goes there other than PvPers/Rpers and anyone who needs to get to faultine quickly running through. Surprised DJ zero ain't bankrupt by now can you imagine the upkeep on that place (I mean paying those monkeys to box must cost a fortune alone!) for what return. Also opens up an interesting storyline 'The Day Dj Zero goes bad' introducing a new enemy type 'The Party Animals' including such mobs as the Raver (MA/SR scrapper) Gangsta (Thugs/poison MM) and the Hippy (Plant/Emp conroller) !!! (imagines shouts of can't 'someone kill that d___ hippy!')
You could rename Pocket D the RWZ (Ravers War Zone).

In Game Audio Comm can't be bothered describing all the in and outs of it but you know what I mean.

More detailed badge info, like how I aquired it and maybe a window openening giving your a more detailed description/backstory

Also ALL other suggestions I have ever made, will make or totally agree with.

Ok just to add my most-wanted QoL changes (pretty much all already mentioned but i'm assuming repetition will strengthen the case)

1) Ability to select in your buff bar and disable the gfx for all external buffs placed on you. I'm thinking mainly sheilds here. I love fire/cold shields as much as the next person but sometimes they completely ruin the look of your toon. Also there's frequently those annoying people (in the AH normally) who insist on casting unsolicited buffs. This should also apply to AoE buffs like shadowfall and arctic fog.

2) AH ease-of-use changes;
* Make text size adjustable, so people with crappy eye-sight like myself don't have to lean to within 2 inches of the screen.
* Make it an option when selecting a recipe for it to automatically bring up the required salvage - not just for the added efficiency of it but so your less likely to buy a recipe without realising one of the salvage peices costs 20 mil.

3) The idea of a match-maker option for team selection/search sounds brilliant to me.

4) Make global chat channels colour change option a global change to that account so it doesn't reset itself and you don't have to reapply it to each toon.

As much as it pains me to reply to myself...I forgot to add that annoying feature/bug? where you cant read mission information/storylines because it keeps resetting/going blank everytime someone zones or enters a mission. It's really irritating when it takes 20 attempts to read the mission breif.

Sorry if this has been posted anywhere, but would it be possible to arrange the costume slots, so you can choose which one is the main costume you see on the character screen.

Quite often I change my original concept a bit and wish one of the others was the main, but dont want to go through redoing them all to get the right one at the start of the 5.

Remove the visual auras from temporary powers from Safueguards/Mayhems.
As in the Health Increase, Movement Increase and such.
Not pretty being forced to delete powers because they have an aura that ruins the look of your character.

However the Movement Increase aura would make a great normal aura in the costume creator.

I couldn't remember if it used to happen to me in I5-I8, but since I started playing again in I11 I've started to notice it more and more - glad to hear it's a bug and will be squashed soon - it keeps creating lots of misunderstandings.

Some more suggestions:

- a new badge tab that lets you search for a badge you have alphabetically. Sometimes, if you have lots of badges, it can be a pain to have to scan through your badge list to find if you have a certain badge already. Sure, serious badgehunters use external sites for this, but I think it would still be a nice addition.

- Exploration badge list should be sorted by zone, with a header for each zone on the badge list and the badges from that zone listed beneath that header

- please make a new tab/category for invention/crafting and buying/selling badges as there are so many of them that they just make the Achievements tab a pain to scroll through to check your progress on certain "defeat X of Y" badges. Also please make a new badge tab for Ouroboros badges for the same reason. Maybe a third new tab for Holiday/Event badges too.

- as an alternative/addition to the previous idea, possibly split badges into active/inactive tabs like with contacts, so progress bars for badges we're working on would be on a separate tab from badges we have already gained, making it easier to check progress without scrolling through a huge list (yes, Achievements tab I'm looking at you again).

- more dynamic events in outdoors zones, whether they're ambushes, more patrols, gang-led riots, more building fires in every city zone (like the existing ones in Steel), banks being robbed by NPCs in outdoor zones, civilian-led protest marches, more vehicles (buses! police cars! taxis!), etc.

- SG leaders being able to set automatic inviting for new characters of existing SG members. If you are in several SGs with different characters, and several of them had auto-inviting set, then upon creating a new character you would get a menu to pick which one of the SGs to auto-join (including "none of them" or "choose later"). This would also help single player SGs to invite their other characters.

- new personal item: an NPC version of your character that you can place in your SG base that only appears there when your character isn't online. There could be several different emote types you could select for your NPC character to be doing (sat down, eating/drinking, reading newspaper, etc). This would bring a little life to SG bases, as you could see the character representations of the offline characters/members in the base (though I guess it could get crowded in larger SGs).

Oh and I absolutely want to second the suggestions just before this post by shazan and Chatarsis - those are things I'd really like to see too.
