I just ran it from the folder on my hard drive, all the games I'd installed through Xp were present, correct and worked fine without any further downloading

Only issue in that? Steam (or was it Impulse... maybe both) doesn't like restoring games backed up on one OS to another OS. Which is a touch annoying.
I re-installed Impulse rather than transfer so I'd guess it to be Stardocks baby that has trouble with OS switches

Nah that's the Draw the World together paper, as David's drawn on it I'll guess it's from Omega Sektor, and by the looks of it I'd hazard a guess at it being Crimson Archer.
Draw the World Together is a charity run to raise money for disadvantaged kids, by providing great artwork of whatever you fancy. When NCSoft still did European shows they'd hire them to do some fantastic pics of our characters. It's one of the parts I miss about the shows nowadays, DTWT are still going strong though, and that's some amazing artwork from David...as is usual

Very true: regional And national accents abound. I vary from Cockney (fanks 2d parelementals, mi ol china) to the deepest darkest drawl of Derbyshire depending on if I'm at work or not. Anyone else notice their accents changing if they go to another part of their country?

Brumland is easy for me to get to, as is Norfolk, though everyone could be uber and shiny and stuffs and just hold it in Sheffield...or even better Chesterfield so I dont waste much Petrol :P

Looks like PLing has lost most of its P...it should probably be labelled Enhanced/Efficient levelling now, or Challenging...or just, maybe: teaming as I can see it being no different to anyone else's teaming just with speedier killing...:P
I'm just looking forward to "any team, any where, any how" I can work on the toons I fancy playing instead of having to juggle levels... As well as being able to challenge some of my more headstrong toons to an 8 man spawn...

I've been wondering how they'll handle the SG issue myself, maybe it will all rely on upcoming Base additions that we've yet to see.....either that or SGs will be merged with VGs and allow cross pollination of members.
Maybe bases will gain an Alignment feature which says that if you go rougue you'll be kicked, but if you stay rouge you'll become more powerful then anyone could imagine...and have lots of storage space.
Speculation is speculation, and is usually fun, so I'll be quite intrigued to see how they handle everything relating to GR. -

I run opera and dont pay attention to the new posts thing...it could be that I'm ignorant, stuck in the past or too hyped up on DOOOOOOM™.....maybe even a mix of all three.
Apart from that the only thing that irritates me is having to select bleedin "Europe" every time I log in....I know it's only a radio button but it's time I could be spent drinking or dancing....maybe even a mix of the two.

I'd like to think I had something useful to say, but I never do, however I like to track down the devs (much harder with the death of devs digest....any news on that reappearing?) and stalk them from the shadows watching what they're up to and writing notes like a ninja journalist spider.
And every now and then I'll visit my old comrades in the EU lounge and make a random comment.
As for GG, the legacy of the requests for animated hair is such that I've almost managed to block out any use of the two words together....they smudge into a strange elongated grin which amuses me.....

lol yeah, then run all the way back while your team waited patiently at a mission door smack bang in the middle of the almost unnavigable Hollows. It was a skill, but one I'm happy to have lost, the new Hollows is much more fun to find your way around and less punishing when you make the wrong turn...this I dont see as a minus. The only thing being knocked back to Atlas and having to sprint back to the mission door in the neighbouring zone taught me was that I hate Sprint.
So chalk me up as another one who loves the revamp......Boomtown next? :P -
