Further Quality of Life Improvements
Just thought of this, so repeating it from another thread.
Opening shops
Wouldn't it be useful if you could go to contacts you never met, or outlevelled without really talking to, and take a mission to get them to open their Inspiration shop? Then perhaps a second mission to access their Enchancements.
It would be a bit like opening up the level 35 shops in Brickstown and FF. Some scaleable, character appropriate mission. Do them a favour, they do you one back. Only available when you have actually outlevelled that contact's normal missions.

Could you please change the animation of the Obsidian Shield power in the Dark Armor power set. Ive just taken the power on my Dark/Dark scrapper and think the halo like purple rings coming out my head really ugly and not fitting with the power set.
Either that or can i echo previous suggestions to make the animations on buffs optional.
Small change: When you change the level of a recipe/invention you want to find on Wentworths, make it so you can change the max to below the minimum, and make the minimum equal the new max.

From time to time, when the player number reaches above certain numbers, the Team Member search list will be trancated. It makes looking for team and looking for members rather difficult. Just show all the unhidden players unless search criteria has been used.
4) Looking for More Flag
I have read somewhere a while ago regarding the introducing of a Looking for More flag into the Team Member search list. Essentially it will indicate which team is looking for more members. Together with Point 3 above, these two features will make regular teaming more efficient.
5) Notice Board
Not every player belongs to some sort of channel (say, Badgehunters Channel or MotherShip Raid); especially new players, returning and part-time players. A General Notice Board can be a place where player(s) can organise and choose to participate events like Task/Strike Forces, Trials, Ship Raid or even just doing Cape, Aura, Midnight Squard or Patron Story Arcs together. The format of the General Notice Board contains of 5 basic information (or more, if necessary): Time, Activities, Place to meet up, Level range and the Person who is organising it.
This would give players of various level, experience and interests the chance to experience the game contents more.
6) Commment Box (Board)
More or less similar to the idea of Notice Board. But this one is for general in-game comment; such as which story arc is fun, tips and hints of getting certain kinds of mission done (say Bank Mission).
Or it could be a place for Q&A: players post a question in-game, for example how to get the Midnight Squard Badge, what patron should I choose for my ..., where do I get the Ouroboro Portal and so on. Just that players don't have to switch between this forum and the game but rather have their answer on the spot in-game.
7) Renting an Apartment
This is a funny one: I want to rent an Apartment for my Heroes in Founders Fall, and my Villaines in Nerva. I don't want to log off in random places; I want to log off at my 'home'!

8. More Customisable Costume and more Flexible Body Shape
Most costume piece come in fixed shape. How about allow the shapes and sizes of each costumes to be altered: for example, a big cowboy hat, bigger or smaller shoulders piece of certain types.
Also, can we have more patterns which are allowed to go on a garment please? As far, only one chest detail can be used and, in most cases, only one chest or bottum pattern can be used.
In short, more mix and match would be nice.
At the moment, no matter how hard one tries, most female and male body shapes are relative ideal: as in being curve and muscular. I do want a fat hero/villain, or one with silly big head or big feet.
I Got an idea ..... why not add um more costume parts , but not normal once , why not add a hole other tab in costume creation mode , a accesories tab where you can add stuff like floating orbes or um a back pack , or even 2 gun holders for people who use duel pistols and holders for swords on back or on hips , lots of cool items , and by body selection or cant remember what call it add a age selection , like a Child , Teen , Adult , Elder , then they get spesific parts and look alot like their age , hehe like a Magnifisent Boy , also we can add stuff like bracelets and earings , for female Belly Rings and other stuff. should be cool , for SG bases add walls that you can make instead of waisting a hole block of space and open and closeable doors , when you use the sleeping emote your characters lies down on ground and sleeps , but add different styles like with flying , hehe , i also had anothe idea :
why not add easy emotes ? when you are near a chair you can right click it and automaticly be ported to it in right position sitting in it properly ... and when you use /e sit you can use a emote while using it like /e sit , then /e newspaper , then your sitting while using the newspaper .... should be awsome

at wentworths and black market I've noticed that I can sell multiple versions of the same salvage item in one slot, but if I have multiple versions of the same enhancement I have to put each on in individually. this can be annoying if I'm crafting stuff.
would it be possible to make enhancements stackable like salvage is, at least on the auction houses.
also, any possibility of being able to store recipes or enhancements at the vault as well as just salvage?
i think those are QOL things, like the recent changes to contacts listings.

Forgive me if these have already been mentioned but didn't seen them on my skip through...... Only things i can think of at the moment is:
1) Being able to feely move your enhancements from slots to tray now IO's are around and can't be combined.
2) Some kind of level up buff for side kicks. If there mentor gains another level. Seeing your boss kicking [censored] with his new found strength would inspire any self respecting side kick to give the extra bit more.

I would love to have a proper macro or bind editor. Something which would making macros and such easy. Having good macros and binds are a huge advantage to those who have mastered them. It should not be reserved for the few who know how to create them.

just look at LOTR and you see that shooting with some power behind it has nothing to do with how fast you shoot.

I wouldn't be against the idea of Legolas-speed arrow-firing, but I'm relatively happy with the animation as is. It does take ages, and a speed up would be good, but I don't need it to look that realistic, especially as that would probably conflict with the quickness idea.

Unless this already got added, if I've been buffed, right clicking on the buff icon should offer me the option to remove that buff. For all those helpful folks who speed boost newbies to watch them slam into walls, or even the ones who think it's helpful, but don't realise that it isn't always.

Would stop the funnest player created mini game ever. You are such a spoil sport. Quite often I log in for a game of newbie darts, scoring points for which part of the wall they hit behind Miss Liberty.
I have a couple of QoL suggestions for the Faultline zone.
The Faultline story arcs are some of my fav to play but always find the zone a pain in the whatsit to travel accross because all the later story arcs are based right down at the bottom of the map. Getting out of the zone isn't so much of a problem if you have the pocket D teleport but your level may still be a little to low to use the Orbourous portal. And when you come back into the zone you are right at the top again. Could you possibly make a second Pocket D opening at the barrier between the north and south side of the zone?
Also for the missions where you have to enter the Arachnos tunnels could you place a map marker at the opening because even though ive done the story arc twice I still have difficulty finding it because it is on the other side of the map to where the mission marker is.
When did this turn from a 'QoL suggestion thread' to a 'is this a QoL sugestion?' thread or a 'Abuse the noobs cos they don't understand and share the same concept of the phrase as me' thread.
Who nows, frankly who cares, surely it's up to the Devs to decide whether they think any particular suggestion fits the criteria they have defined.

You think people have been abusing other posters? Then press the "notify mod" button, as that's against the EULA. Although FWIW I wouldn't count comments that amount to "this isn't really a QoL issue" as abuse.

I think it's more than just a difference in interpreting concepts to say that (to pick a few suggestions) complete zone revamps, new costume design concepts and freely customisable powers (not power effects, actual powers...) fall outside the OP's brief...
Good question, and not sure. To my mind, Quality of Life is pretty much anything that fits into the classification "Improves the information I have about my characters. Improves my ability to communicate with other players. Improves my ability to play the game the way I want to (finding teams, managing teams, avoiding teams etc. Improves my ability to avoid wasting time and get on with missions)". All else (i.e. anything relating to things that you use in combat) are Gameplay Improvements to one degree or another.
So, asking for a 'Team leader star' on the Team search menu is a QoL issue. Asking for adjustments to the Auction House search system is a QoL issue.

I'd also like to see a personal History list in the Auction House, so you can quickly call up the last 10 things you've looked at. Mainly because I'm impatient when crafting stuff so I frequently place a bid on something, go off shopping for whatever else I need and when my initial bid doesn't work go back to the initial item and rebid at a higher price. It'd save me a bit of time.
A "bookmarks" or favourites would be nice too but probably not as useful.

Alternatively, a right-click on a piece of salvage in a receipe to load it into the "buy" field in the auction house.
Some of these may have been mentioned, but it's important to show that more than 1 person agrees so i will post them anyway... Multiple posts for same request is a good thing. Shows mass desire. Anyway...
Badge List - Shows all the badges grey'd out, and the collected ones in colour.
X,Y,Z Location Finder - /search type box that you enter co-ordinates and they will be display'd like a mission locator does.
Search Screen - Adjust so that the window can be expanded.
Search CoX - Search screen option to search Coh / Cov, so i can see how many vills are in SC not just Heros ;P
Uni Workbenches - Workbenches in all zones that have Auction houses please.
Inspiration Vendor - Trainers should also sell Inspirations same as Pocket D Bar staff and Arena Staff.
Sell All Button - Sell all at Store, Sell all salvage / Recipes option when at a vendor.
Recall Friend - Cross Zonal please
Replying - Multiple backspaces flicks through recent contacts
Character Transfer - Transfer Characters from 1 account to another.
Player Notes - Player notes list all toons on same account.
B.cast Chat - Broadcast also can be heard when in mission from that zone.
Team search - Players in teams of 8 or in Task forces show up in /search as red.
