The idea sounds intriguing, I'm interested in the entirely new kind of armour and what it will bring. I'm thinking some kind of shock-armour that sends people flying when they touch you 
although that seems a bit counter-productive for some scenarios. Personally I doubt I'll use one, I don't really like the visual style of elec, and there'll probably be a lot of them made when they first appear anyway.

I'm guessing like the elec shield in CoH :P and powers hopefully like blaster elec meele THUDER STRIKE!!! maybe a cool Elec Sword like in the koren trailer
really looking forward to the elec/elec brutes personally, should look great, would work like the fire set wouldnt it? just with a PBAoE end drain + energy damage.

yeah I would agree with that set
Im sure that Cryptic will try and introduce it with the minimum amount of work involved so I'm sure you'll see lots of rehashed existing powers with altered values.

My Kin/elec defender has end drain, end recovery and a heal :| Thing is he cant hit very hard. If the new brute has damage too (which it should) i'd hope they tone the end drain down a bit. Fought biopulse with an alt last night, i expect the new elec brutes to be a bit like that.

I've been waiting for the electric melee, but thats purely for concept - my main on CoH os a Dark/elec defender who has been split into two parts (although he doesn't know it) - the part with all the morals is in Paragon City, and the other part is soon to appear as an Elec/dark brute...

I've recently been getting into the tank side of the game, as generally i'm a blaster/MM fan. However i've really enjoyed playing as a tank and had a go with a brute good stuff tbh.
As far as its concerned i'm making a brute elec/resistance tank (if elec is defence which i will be annoyed about >=[) The elec stuff for blasters is pwnage hope the brute's set doesnt let it down
Elec 99% sure will be resistance based, looking at all the epic-elec armors currently. Imho its gonna be a pot-of-soup of currently elec powers, 2 end-drainers and as maybe only new 1 the aoe teleport power.
So who will be first elec/elec brute to hit 50?
