Well since you get no KB protection, I'd pick up acrobatics on the way anyways. And I just so happen to run into combat jumping while doing that, which means immobilize resistance. Problem solved (works fine for fire brutes)
So what is the verdict ?
Pvp or pve set ?
Those visuals are awesome, much cooler than my fire/fire :/ guess ill be making a elec/elec with everyone else
the immob/knockback isn't an issue as already posted...leaping pool!
However the lack of a heal could be its only weakness...
OK the numbers for the attacks/shields aren't out yet, but the main bases are covered

Actually I'd go for acro at 20 and delay stamina a little. End really won't be as much of an issue for this brute, I think. It will need stamina, obviously, but getting Acro at 24 really sucks (I've been there on my dark/fire, it wasn't fun). Post-20 you REALLY need it
And I'd take swift instead of hurdle, but thats just because I like to be maneuvrable during a fight, a matter of taste.
I'd prolly do
20: Acro
22: Stam
24: Lightning Reflexes (as cool as this power is, its definetely the least wanted of these 3)

Well I think with your 2 primary attacks, your end will do alright...still that's something experience will need to tell by lvl 20. If your end still sucks I'd go Stam-Acro-Reflexes :P
Since u get superjump at 14, I really don't need that extra vertical movement for that 1 day you play the char where he's in the lvls between 6 and 14 :P
I'd rather be able to zip to my target as quickly as possible.

Hasten? Oh dear, don't tell me I missed hasten... Will definitely have to drop something for it, possibly chain induction or conserve, will see how the sets play out.
Been thinking about Jacobs Ladder. How useful is a sleep to a Brute?
Grounded is possibly a power that could be left out too.

[/ QUOTE ]It's cone damage, just has chance of sleep as secondary effect like other elec melee attacks.
My other thought about an Elec/Elec build is that with no hp recovery power and a hp crash in the level 9 power the Medicine pool could be very useful.
Or could at least 3 slot Health.

Energy Aura doesnt have a self heal either, how do they fare ?
Dark Melee has a attack with a heal (10%) with a 15s recharge, so you could get a 20% heal every ~8 seconds, which is actually more healing over time than the secondary heals.
DM/elec isnt much of a concept character though...
Is it just me and PRAF68 that is conserned about elec/elec's lack of a heal ?

I don't think the level 9 EA power causes a hp crash though.
I don't think the lack of heal is a bad decision, but I would take it into acount in my build. I have 3 slotted health on my Tank, and its suprisingly effective, I would probably go for that.
I'm not so happy about the lack of immob and KB protection, since this pretty much forces you to go with jumping, and is to much like Dark and Fire. I notice DA Stalkers get immob resistance.

Healing flames is bad as well though, i rarely use it in combat, only when im on the run towards the next pack. Still, a 50% heal every 30 seconds is nothing to laugh at, despite its 3 second downtime after using it

[/ QUOTE ]But the elec one does EMP, which means every mob will be held for a while, which should be long enough to excape if necessary.
Apart from the ones who are missed, out of range or have high hold resistance.

Erk, hoping I hit 50 with Fraz before I throw myself at the only non hopping around like a simpering ninny elec / elec brute concept.
Hell knows what I'll do with it. Hit things lots. Ignore anything about 'you don't have acrobatics!?'.
I hate flying, it's too slow for me (ofcourse concept toons will get it). And every /DA and /FA brute also has jump: the devs intended the brutes to be jumpy . Now all we need are some bunny ears

I think the key to this one is the high damage it mentions. Also, I can imagine it looks real cool!
