You configured your router to open the ports for CoX?
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, I have. Not that it mattered, since there is no issue on my g/f's laptop when running on the same network.
Here's an image of the netgraph

Hmm I don't see why I would have anything running in the background, I formatted not that long ago and I am pretty good with knowing what I do and don't need. I will have a look anyway when I get back home. Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Hai guys.
I'm having an issue wherein I get serious lag every 30 seconds. It appears on my netgraph as a solid red bar amongst otherwise flat green. It occurs literally at 30 second intervals.
I know it is not my ISP, my router or my wireless card because I have changed all of these and tried on a different computer using the same network, which was fine.
Can anyone give me any ideas? It is a Core 2 Duo E6400 with a nvidia 7600GT and I think 2 GB RAM (don't see how any of these can effect it but thought I'd best mention).
I'd really appreciate any help with this issue as it makes the game almost unplayable, which means wasting my subscription money. -
I love Ninjitsu and I imagine the /da AoEs are not useful when you want to make attacks from hide.
Nin is amazing and goes great with Ninja Blade. In PvE you should out last every one in your teamthe heal is awesome (slightly better than reconstruction I believe, and a good recharge), the mez resist almost flawless (needs recreds and can be busted through by about oh... 5 or 6 stacked holds and immobs), toggles have fast animations, Retsu is Elude by another name... just a great set.

Hmm, I can see how there's an issue that spines can finish off a squishy after AS with impale. But otherwise they're not really more overpowered than others. They do less single target damage in fact, and that's the stalker basis really.
And why is this only about the Stalker? Try taking a squishy without a pvp build against a spines/regen scrapper in Warburg. I did in the first few days of PvP zones when I didn't realise how completely inappropriate my blaster was for PvP and got annihilated. -
I think everyone with Elude loves those moments when your team gets flattened and everyone's shouting "run!" "run away!" - you click on elude and mop up shop
-
You can't jump out of caltrops but you can run or fly out, it's not great in PvP except against other stalkers.
You might want acrobatics, the click mez resist is not the same as the SR one, so acro is the only place to get knockback protection. Acro is a must for fighting stormies, pvp kins, energy blasters, katana scrappers etc. etc.. -
Yeah I have to agree it's not great, although I would say it a bit nicer
AS and Placate are the core Stalker powers. Integration is one of the most important regen powers - you wanna get those in as early as possible. -

Assasin strike, is a great move but only when used from hidden. U will find Assassin strike is often recharged before u have either hidden or placate has recharged. In a perfect world, assassin strike recharges about as fast as hide takes (+ a few odd punches thrown in). Ive played a stalker to lv 41 on US trial and have a lv16 atm on my EU acc.

I found 1 recred perfect in AS, it recharges about 1-2 seconds after hide unsurpresses that way. I don't know what you meant by "(+ a few odd punches thrown in)" but any attack you give or recieve in that time will make hide's surpression restart.... I found that most enemies went down with 1 hit, lts with 1 hit combined with BU and bosses you had no reason to stop attacking and wait for hide anyway (unless you're the type that runs and returns against bosses). -
Aw man sad to see you go, you were there when my vill hit 50 and I remember struggling our way to failure on my first RSF attempt. Was good teaming with you right through the game with your main villain. I even think I remember blasting through Heroes a few times back in i4 and i5 with you on your main. I'll look you up if I ever leave this game and move to WoW (hey I might do one day).

Regen if you want to be totally deadly.
DA if you wan't to be original (never seen an MA/DA before)
I have a lvl 40 MA/SR and love it, the quickness comes in very handy. -

Hold enemy b

Not helpful for those first 43 levels though.

I was including disorient, fear, even knockdown in that -
I'm not sure how useful repulse is for a stalker, and you might need some blues in your defenses. Also, Entropy Shield, your Integration equivalent, is one of those powers you want to get in as early as possible.
I'm sure someone else can give you more detailed tips. Other than the things I've spotted it seems likea decent build. -

Then I tried Nin/nin. It feels like a good set but the problem was that after hitting the first time, I started to play like a Brute until I could Hide again.
[/ QUOTE ]
With Nin/Nin my main tactic is
AS enemy a (BU/AS if it's a boss)
Hold enemy b
Golden Dragonfly enemy c
Flashing steel in case a or c are still alive
Placate/AS enemy d
Scrap with enemy b
Repeat -
I just don't think there's any way to love, enjoy, experience a good Stalker build til the mid 20s. Then everything just clicks.
Just me, maybe -
No Divine Avalanche? It will make you hit s/l/melee def cap
compliments /nin very well but not sure if it's necessary with /SR.
Not sure you really need stealth, invis and phase. Only one type of stealth can stack with hide at once. If anything in that set I would take grant invis and team up with another stalker that has it in pvpThe most +per you can get after you is a scrapper with tactics, FA and a per toggle, which not many do because it'll crush their endurance.

yes but debuff can't prevent a scrapper of crit on a hit for exemple
[/ QUOTE ]
crit can only double the damage at most, if you get a rad or a dark on you... well to exaggerate, double nothing is nothing
I think it's true that Stalkers are broken out of the box, so to speak. I really didn't like mine that much until about 25, when I respec'd in stamina, fixed my /nin choices and got SOs - then it became great.
However I've recently rolled a new Stalker on defiant and had a very different experience to my nin/nin. I have been skipping the secondaries this time (EA) and concentrating on the primaries (DM). She is seriously deadly. DM is almost the opposite to Ninja Blade in that it gets all its good stuff early, whilst nin blade is weak until soaring and golden. I've had great fun so farIf anyone was planning to start a Stalker, I would say go with DM to avoid being put off in the early stages.

Showed up for wednesday, nobody there.

I think Regen is the best PvP stalker secondary, simply because I've seen people like Blindfaith outlast a dozen people.
I'm partial to /nin though, as it was my first CoV 50, and I absolutely loved it. I solo'd a lot of PvE and never got bored, and do very well in PvP too.
Only thing I'll say about Regen is you have to know what you're doing. Regen's only overpowered-ubermazing if you're not a [censored] player. I've seen some people use it so badly. -
I found I wanted stamina in my nin/nin ASAP
Test the Widow, I hated my Patron Pet.
Test Blinding Powder too, some people love it, I hated it.
With that bug you got slotting placate... If you put a recharge in AS, you can use it almost as soon as Hide unsurpresses.
As Hammerfall said, nothing but recred actually works in Kuji-In Rin, builder error.
Put 3 defbuff in Divilanche, it's amazing for /nin, especially against Longbow.
Sure others can come up with moreyou should mention whether you want it for PvE or PvP though.
