Spine stalkers GET nerfed!
Then have a teammate, he'll AS, Placate, then your teammate slaps him upward to next week.
It's not acrobatics what grants resistance to immob, but combat jumping. Besides, yes spines has immob and without res to it you will be immob'ed, but on the other hand EM stuns after each hit so anything without stun res will also be stunned, let's nerf it too, but on every AT!. And claws does kb, so anything without kb resist will be kbed.. let's nerf it too!. And so does MA from scrappers, lets nerf that too ... could be like this for a while but what i mean is, u can have powers that resist the immob, u can have break frees to resist the immob too, u can team with other peeps.... there is a wide arc of possible counters to that.
If we are going to nerf something, let's nerf TK ^^

I cant conceive of a pvp player without combat jumping, I havnt had a immob take on my spines for ages. Also spines stalkers are much less damaging than scrappers

You're thinking "Impale" because "Throw Spine(s)" doesn't Immobilize, and even then Impale takes multiple applications with some things, to get that Immob, if anything you won't be SJing out of range very fast.
Kinda like the spines scrapper then, innit. while we nerf stalkers.. shall we nerf scrappers, you think?
You know, to balance things up.
Acrobatics is a MAG1 Hold/KB res
CJ is the one that offers a "small" Immob res.
I vote for the nerf of EM stalkers! I cannot get my Aid Self off in time before they 2 shot me!

Hmm, I can see how there's an issue that spines can finish off a squishy after AS with impale. But otherwise they're not really more overpowered than others. They do less single target damage in fact, and that's the stalker basis really.
And why is this only about the Stalker? Try taking a squishy without a pvp build against a spines/regen scrapper in Warburg. I did in the first few days of PvP zones when I didn't realise how completely inappropriate my blaster was for PvP and got annihilated.
acro needs upping in the MAG states, how it isnt good enough imo.
got on stormie, 9 times out of 10 held with one hold, usually fire dom, ice or mind

If you expected accro to save you from a dom/troller hold then I can see why your disappointed. Its good for the KB and protecting against blaster/corruptor holds. Theres already too much mezz protection going around and youre probably just the 1st to get held because of the acc and range debuffs in storm. Anyway, its far more fun to confuse a stormie.

not just storm, but had to use as example as its the only one with acro thats useable, BUT its very much useless in pvp and very dissapointing for people with ok builds, aka blasters for instance, only to end up perma held. And i dont believe in bringing full trays of Breakfrees JUST to spite the attacker >.>

Throw Spines is a later power and doesn't immob at all.. and is a totally different power altogether.

As for the original issue, like stalko said, combat jumping is your friend. Sorry for my sarcastic response to a post I filed into the 'general moaning' section.
ps. Acro's mez protection is never going to be upped or we'd end up with more balance issues than we started with.
The scrapper version does more damage.. as said earlier if it's gonna be nerfed nerf the scrappers as well.

Depends what you play.
On a controller maybe. In favourable conditions you might kill some held squishys while playing a dominator before supression pops up. Blasters etc should kill something before supression kicks which is prolly why accro resists there holds. Even a tank will kill a squishy before supression kicks in. (funny how they do so much more damage than say dom or defender, despite also having there attacks in there secondary).

My stalker was 1 shotted by a /Energy blaster in Sirens over the weekend. The damage of an Energy attack + Buildup and Aim is horrible. Funny how Stalkers aren't allowed to 1 shot anymore but blasters and scrapper can and do regularly.
(All adding to my general dislike for PvP tbh)

Unless the attack you're hit by is significantly high and has more than one damage component.
IE; You can be one shotted by something like Inferno.
Only with DoT, but /energy has no DoT afaik

I have tried to bring up the weakness of dominators for some time now, if you agree with me that they are disadvantaged. My blaster can kill squishies in less than 3 seconds if I stun them. Usually mere stun is enough - even if they pop break free they cannot escape in time.
A 40+ troller usually has no trouble killing held opponents. Dominators are the ones that have trouble..
