Ah but those make no difference at all after EA, or teaming with an ice def or empath
. Without those buffs, they shouldn't make much a threat anyway tho, maybe hellions at really low level

Nothing wrong on survavility side with wp, it's easily one of the most survivable set in the game, and that doesn't apply to tanks only. The issue with wp is the aggro management.They just can't keep baddies attention on them, and you don't have to play an aoe blaster to notice that... trollers and scrappers get the aggro out of them in groups, and having the wp tank heavy taunt and aoe slotted doesn't make a difference -and no, I didn't experience this playing with noob wp tanks, but guys with several years of experience and lots of 50s, many of them tanks, too-.
About the comparison with the other tank primaries, I pretty much agree with you on fire and dark, but I got lost with ice tanks being 'odd' and invul ones being 'lol' -

A WP tanker can hold aggro, but they have to do it by spamming taunt.

That's not true. Any AoE toon would outaggro any of them unless they are spamming taunt, granted, but GA aggro aura is way wider than WP's one. -

My thoughts, or a brief view of them, is if DB manages to wake up that the Rad will be good, cause 3 Rads would be perma AM or two rads and one kin is perma AM. This should give perma PA. If DB doesn't make it then the SB would be needed to get the PAs perma.
So if no DB I'd like the kin, if DB is there I dont mind at all

It seems like everytime you log/zone/enter a mission when someone has invited you and you having replied yet causes you to crash. It happenned to me twice in a row so I asked a friend to let me try it, and 3 out of 3 times i got booted from the game, having to verify file after each

Aura weak and AV's can move? ss+follow+barrage on auto? That's all a Tank needs to do to vs an AV even when teaming
I'd personally have Taunt myself, and have it on auto when going afk fighting an AV but that doesn't imply Archy's way is wrong -

A tank that does something silly will more than likely make one or several of the squishies die... a tank that does something silly and dies would just happens if the tank was doing something silly, the tank was slotted in a silly way and the empath was silly and slotted in a silly way too -I'm repeating your own words on purpose just to make sure you understand them- -

This is against the board rules but what the heck, wouldn't be the first time. I agree with a lot of your points, but the above is either a flat out lie, a statistical anomaly or you should see a doctor to have your memory checked man. You can have your eye on the tank the whole time, do your very best and the nut will still die horribly as he decides to agro the whole room in an eightman having forgotten to switch on some of his toggles or just not having taken them.

I'd like to know what is exactly against the board rules on that post... and about the latter part, even a fire tankw ithout tough would survive the alpha, and that is all an empath needs to keep him alive. In fact, a fire blaster can do the tanker role ion an up to 6 man team with a decent empath supporting him -
