Nin/nin pvp build

As my stalker is now lvl 40, and I'm going to take it to 50 before my MM I think, I thought I'd respec to pure PvP at 50. I made a build for it and would like some comments on this

Oh and to get to know the powers, I wont be pvping anywhere lower than SC, and mostly in Warburg/RV

Main tactic will be to throw caltrops in front of me, tp foe into them, placate and BU AS. Then go on with soaring dragon or golden dragonfly. I took hasten mainly to keep up my attacks as I couldnt fit more into them. Should I replace the spiderlings with another kat attack? Is web cocoon useless if I have caltrops? Should I swap stealth and retsu around? Lots question but I hope some can answer them for me

Altho a valid tactic most experienced pvpers will jump as soon as they get TP'ed and will just end up jumping out of the caltrops.
Personaly i'd fully slot web cocoon as its -jump -fly etc

Your Retsu atm is only 45% def with just recharge and with your other toggles 72% def not really that high.

the 2 extra slots in swift is an extra 4mph roughly
same with hurdle .. no extra jump height but abit more speed..3rd one isn't doing much tho.

Pets in PVP are a complete waste of time i'd swap it for TP myself .. that'll give you some vertical.

IIRC you cant jump in caltrops. At least I cant on those of KoA. Dunno if you can jump on them though, not 100% sure

You can't jump out of caltrops but you can run or fly out, it's not great in PvP except against other stalkers.

You might want acrobatics, the click mez resist is not the same as the SR one, so acro is the only place to get knockback protection. Acro is a must for fighting stormies, pvp kins, energy blasters, katana scrappers etc. etc..

if someone TP's you onto caltrops as soon as you see the TP Animation you hit jump and your not on the caltrops long enough for the tick to hold you on them.
Experienced PVP'ers know this like i said before.

Experienced PvP players may know this, but not everyone is experienced in PvP. And for acrobatics, I dont really want SJ for PvP. Too hard to use there. Much harder trying to chase down someone with SJ, I got SJ now and tried to PvP with it but isnt really nice there. I also got acrobatics now, but if I squeezed it earlier than 30 I would just have 3 attacks other than AS. And usually I need my AS, SD and then bash with the other ones.

I dont know if I'm certain about all the things I've posted here since I'm not really and experienced player in PvP

Running out of calptrops is slow though, it does have an effect on runners (unless its different from the blaster caltrops), but its not really a big trap or anything. Fly is unaffected by caltrops (except by caltrops' damage which is some sorta damage aura).

Then again one speed boost is enough to help runners escape caltrops easily afaik.

edit: hmm that build is nice.. I have a claws/nin myself and I have big trouble trying to fit everything in by lvl 30 (sirens call). Instead of caltrops you might want to consider stealth or grant invisibility (which will make you a liked person among stalkers) On the other hand, if you don't have caltrops then tp foe is even less of an use..

I've did some testing involving caltrops and TP Foe, and tbh, 'trops would be pretty useless. Everytime I TP Foe someone, they're either flying, or jumping. As soon as someone realises they're being slowed, instinct says "jump".

Could be good against SS'ers, but most SS'ers have another travel power, so it's pretty much a waste of a power imo. Better with stealth or Grant Invis as Hammerfall said.

the lack of KB protection means that you will find yourself being juggled silly in pvp, I would recommend getting cj, sj and acro for pvp

lose flashing steel

lose TP foe, unless you are teleganking it will come back to bite you against a competant foe.

Lose spiderlings, all they will do is reveal where you are

If you lose those 3 and get in cj, sj and acro (which i strongly recommend) I would also take a long hard look at what else you could lose and get in divine avalance as this can increase your defence in melee by nearly 50% (double stacked with 3 def buffs in it) making you all but untouchable
