No, she's always been a "Monster" at a specific level (30?), so she can con anything from Purple to Grey.

Then there must have been a relatively recent change, because I was on a level 40-ish, and she conned grey "recently". I've also seen her con purple, most notably when Croatoa first came out.

i defeated her not too long ago and she was gray. This must be a recent change. (i was surprised she was gray, so it sticks out in my mind.)

Is it possible that there is more than one "version" of her that spawns and one of them is bugged?

I doubt there's more then one version of her, it wouldn't make much sense to do that. There's never more then one, it won't spawn if there's another one, so having multiple spawns of the same NPC would be like having two kinds of Kraken. Plus, it would mean that for the most part, the Developers went out of their way to code two separate types of Sally, and coded them differently enough that one could end up bugged, and the other not (or coded them differently, all together now).

For at least the past 2 years and 3 months, she has conned yellow. That is how long I have been playing, and I have never seen her con any color other than yellow, no matter the level of character I'm playing.

It is an awesome suggestion, I also posted in teh thread to add that it'd be sweeter if when you use the camera temp power it would take a screenshot and dump it in your sceenshot folder.
