Completely superfluous thought:

If they change the badges to read "Rocketman/Rocketwoman" and "Ironman/Ironwoman" based on character gender and then add the ability to change genders of the character, will the badge title change also?

i15: bad aftertaste.

so looks like every time all my friends log on we will have to all stop what we are doing instead of just sending an invite and keep on moving. how annoying.

ah well...

at least those pesky temporary badges wont be bothering me anymore. those things were a slap in the face.

I don't care what anyone says. Escorts and pets showing up on the map ALONE makes this issue worth it for me. Ironically, I didn't see that in the patch notes.

However, this might be the perfect time to point out that Dominators DO have the perfect shape changing power effect. (Although it's only a shape changing effect if you happen to have tied a costume change to it )

Has anyone besides me noticed the interesting new "defeat animation" on the Council Zenith Hoverbots?

Go check it out if you want a good laugh... I already bugged it, but more reports couldn't hurt.

I don't know about improved - they are definitely different. The new sounds for walking over rough terrain (like the cobblesteps/rough streets in mercy) make me think of a horse trotting on cobblestones - and since none of my characters are horses it is fairly annoying.

Was there an undocumented change PVP IO drop rates, or the whole drop system for them entirely changed ?

If so this should have been noted here, even if flagged as an exploit fix internally and wasn't in the test notes.

i'd go with the bip bip bip buttons, but then i'd have a vertical Arachnos symbol the height of the character appear and rotate around the vertical axis with the costume changing in a flash as the rotation finished. *shrug*

NOTHING drops in pvp now..neither zones or arena..no inf, no salvage, no insp...idk about recipes..probably no recipes either...all i could get for kills was reputation..GJ Devs...now what do we get pvp IOs from? Roleplaying?????

Tested and reported on already.

IIRC, the gender follows the gender of the first costume slot thoughout, i.e., if the first slot is Male or Huge, it's a "boy" title.

Perhaps I can find that thread down in the Training Room.

Is this true? Can anyone confirm this? Not like a play PvP anyway, but on the off chance I might want to go there and try to get a PvP IO, I would really want this fixed.

Shouldn't this read "...increased its recharge from 1.32 seconds to 6 seconds..."? Unless I'm just missing something.

The Riechman SF is the longest, most difficult and yet extremely boring TF/SF I have ever ran. Took a preety good pug team 2 1/2 hours. The last mission took over an hour. I hope the big boss is bugged, cause that [censored] was crazy hard for 20 merits. Leading multiple NPCs thru a huge cave map is just annoying and the AV was like soloing a Pylon. Don't plan on EVER running this SF again.

[/ QUOTE ]Yes...God forbid they actually put something in the game that's a *challenge*. 20 merits does sound low from what I've heard, but it's not as if that'll never change. Once they have a good idea of how long it's taking people to finish, they'll adjust as needed.

And if 2.5 hours is a long TF for you, I have to wonder what TFs you've done.
