We may by the time dual pistols are available, but we will have FF eventually.
As far as the OP, we probably didn't have a thread since corruptors have discussed dual pistols several times already. The devs said that corruptors would be the first AT with a dual pistol range attack set.

I was kinda happy when I saw the Thread discussing Archery/Trick Arrow for Corrs a couple weeks ago.
But Dual Pistols will be great instead of the Bows, lol.
I can think of a couple Combos I would like to try...
Black-Strike: lvl 50 AR/Dark Corruptor
Brutally Beautiful: lvl 50 BA/Inv Brute
Seared Earth: lvl 50 EC/EA Dominator
Yashi Onuku: lvl 50 Ninja Blade/Ninjitsu Stalker
Death-Widow: lvl 50 Night Widow

I think it would be neat if Dual Pistols had a combo mechanic like Dual Blades. Probably a lot of people wouldn't like that though.

Well, you can tell how much time I have spent making Corruptors. At any rate they should have Force Fields... as was noted by someone already. Is it too much wishful thinking to ask for proliferation, Demon Summoning, Dual Pistols, side-switching and a totally new set of zones?

I dunno.
I hated FF the time I tried it on MM's. My favorite AT is the Corruptor, and I don't see myself using FF it were to be added.
I would avoid it like the plague.

I don't know if they've actually committed to these as player powersets yet, but it seems all but certain. That Blasters, Defenders, and Corruptors will all get Dual Pistols is, so far, speculation, but it seems likely.

Yeah I'm hoping the devs are actually making a new and different powerset to play. Not one that barely just involves wielding two smaller fire arms simultaneously instead of a one bigger one.
But I have my hopes up, considering how long the "akimbo pistols" spent time "on paper".
I was actually thinking of making DP/Dark corruptor, bit like the comic and 360 game The Darkness, but with going rogue I have a feeling my new villain will be a blaster.
I always liked the idea of blaster, the problem was just that they were on the wrong side.
Thanks for the link, hadn't seen that. Haven't been paying much attention lately. Haven't even logged in for 2-3 months. Dual Pistols might just be what gets me to come back! Good stuff. Just wish it would be a new EAT instead of just a powerset.
