April Fan Art Battle - VOTE!!
[ QUOTE ]
I'm voting for John Printemps. Love the details, the posing, the contrast, and the backstory.
honorable mention goes to Tacky Tricky, Lousy Day, and Projectionist. Last two being my wife's favorites.

I think it would be funny if lousy day didn't win 'cause "well everyone is going to vote for him anyway."
My vote goes to Toxic Shia, cause it made me laugh. I do love a lot of the other pieces, I just have a soft spot for humor.
Gotta toss a vote in for Projectionist.
Love Tacky's piece (and hope to see it finished, but just can't vote for it half-done - Wish you'd linked the lineart alone!), and the stained glass, and Nemesis vs. Azuria, but Projectionist captured the whole package.

Hmm, I suppose I could spread the vote-love to someone else because his victory seems assured, but wait, then that's one vote he won't have. So I'll follow through with Lousy_Day, not only is the piece absolutely beautiful and unique, you can see the double meanings behind the construction of the piece (transparency vs. opacity, yin vs. yang, blue vs. red, etc.). Not only does the medium raise the bar, but so does the interpretation.
Juggertha and Tacky Tricky do indeed place close in my opinion. Nonetheless, great job everyone

Thanks Gray! I was looking at it the other day and found another double meaning that wasn't 100% intentional - the frame is straight and sharp, but most of the lines inside are curves.

Gonna have to go with Lousy Day with Projectionist, Tacky Tricky, and Juggy and Alex in tie for second.

Gonna vote for Lousy Day. His unique idea really won me over.
The work here just keeps getting better and better...kudos to all the artists!
The stained glass was truly unique and incredible, but the comic cover took me back to my youth and those classic "VS" covers. And the Swans battle...wow!
Very hard choice, as others have said. Nostalgia is making me smile even as I type this, so I vote Juggertha.
Juggertha gets my vote, although Projectionist is a close second.
My vote is for Juggy. If Projectionist had put a background in, I would have easily gone for him, but Juggy's comic cover setup put him over the top. It's got the most 'versus' feeling out of the whole set.

My vote goes to Juggertha. It was a toss-up between Juggertha, Tacky Tricky and Projectionist. I probably would have gone with Tacky Tricky if he had made a little more progress. I decided to go with Juggertha because he set the pace for the month with an early submission, and his piece feels the most like a finished piece out of those three.

There always seems to be a mad rush during 'last call', and with the release of I14 this month seems to be particularly so. I was having a problem deciding between Lousy Day, Juggertha, John Printemps, and Tacky Tricky. They are all really great pieces.
But the comments in your post made me realize something. The sheer effort it took for you to get this done and the planning involved, had as much weight behind my vote as the outstanding results you achieved.
My vote is for Lousy Day.
Again some very fine work ... and it was a toss up between three but ... in the end I have to pick and I think I will go with Projectionist this month.

Some nice submissions with this. I have to decide, though, so I am voting for Lousy Day- he's thinking out of the box with this stained glass piece, but it's also a well focused and developed piece that matches up with both characters very well (Gray Huntress summed it up as well as I could) .

Ooh, someone's getting a nice B-day present <3
we need to get the word out there to the rest of the other forums that anybody can come in here and vote!
'course, everybody's probably off in game somewhere, getting their 5th anniversary badge and building mission architect story arcs and too busy to use the forum anyway!
Did I win yet?
I thought Juggy had my vote for sure this time, but I have to go with Lousy_Day also.
And Devs: I want that stained glass as a base wall detail by next issue, kthxbai!
