  3. Can't see it from germany, contains music GEMA blocks. Got an alternate link/download by chance?
  4. Mob running. This was the thing I hated the most. I really would have loved to play my Widow more, but the mobs running all over the place I always felt was really really stupid.

Since there is no social aggro in this game, it made no sense whatsoever. The runners went just past the next spawn, but they didn't care. So what was the point of running anyway? They eventually came back after all. Never understood the point of it. Annyoed me to no end.

Hence I couldn't play anything without a taunt aura for long.
  5. Hami Raid, not sure how long ago, but it's been a long time now it seems (a few months after the revamp I'd say). Back then, Virtue used two Scrapper teams, one for the 3 left Yellows, and the other team for the right 3.

Usually the team was split up with 1 Scrapper on the middle Yellow keeping it occupied, and 1 Scrapper on the back one, while the rest of the team spike the first down, and then moved on to the next.

I was assigned to keep the middle left busy with Sunwind, my FM/WP Scrapper, while the spike got to work on the first. The RNG was really with me that day, as I was critting like crazy and not a single Green healed my Yellow. So i killed it really fast (raid buffed of course, with some red insp. going and as said, a ton of RNG luck).

So I said in Teamchat "Assisting Spike Team".
Teamleader then said "I should keep my Yellow busy, since I was assigned to it".
"It's dead" I answered, and helped the spike team take down the first Yellow. I got a lot of comments how uber my Scrapper was. And even though a lot of luck was involved, it really made my day

    ----------

Also fond memories when I got the Master of Statesman TF badge on Sunwind, thanks to the awesome 'Master Saturdays' organized by BlazingTiger and a few others. Though we had a lot of failed runs, the teams, the spirit and camaraderie between everyone was just great. No cussing or drama, just everyone sticking together, not everyone having to have the best build, working with what you got, trying to beat the odds, laughing if it failed, getting back up and trying again.

Though this wasn't a crowning moment for me as a single person, it was the best in teams working together I have ever experienced in any MMO I have played. Good times. So I feel it still belongs here.

    ------------

ITF, fighting up Laghill, seeing the next group full of Elite Bosses. The team hesitated for a moment, and one said "Thats a lot of EBs!". I just said "Yummy..." and charged. She then said "You really are a scrapper". That little comment made my day
  6. Though it took a few minutes, it worked. Thank you for tthe tip EG.

  8. Undecided. Playing very little lately, I can see myself going Premium, and only popping in once in a while like I do now already.

Depends on the final ruleset for Premium accounts really, what of the things I usually do is still accessable or not.

Time will tell. Keeping the account active for now for until F2P hits, then I'll decide.

  10. I went with Barrier. Even in the last 60s seconds it puts my my L/S Def at 44%, and much higher before that. I don't run it perma though, still use it more of an emergency button, when I notice my Def is getting debuffed a lot.

Still eyeing Rebirth though, probably get both eventually and switch around as needed depending on what the Team brings or what we fight (Hami comes to mind).
  11. Seven years already, not bad. Here's to the next seven!

Just so you are aware, if you go that route, Crab for one Build, Bane for the other, you will have the Crab-backback visible for both builds, even if the second build has no Crab powers at all, it's still there because of the Crabpowers in the first build.

<Edit> Also, here is an excellent (if a bit old) guide for the Huntsman variant by Aisynia, if you are interested in that route: Link . It's quite a fun build, and i personally enjoy it much more then the Crab. It's worth a read regardless which way you go though
  13. Genesis: Launches a torpedo at the enemy, completly reforming the target into a small planet, that'll rez all nearby teammembers (though they may end up with pointy ears).

    B) T4 Ageless + Darkest Night (which would allow reactive).

I would be losing Super Jump (I took it as a "for fun" power, it's proved useful on Lambda but CJ will suffice) for Darkest Night which is not a major loss - and Darkest Night will only require 1 additional slot beyond base to get a 2nd enzyme.
Another suggesting, that hasn't been said yet is to add Judgement: Void into the mix. One branch offers a massive -50% Damage debuff for 30 seconds. With the 90 seconds recharge it's not perma, but it certainly can take sting out of some situations, enough to tip the scales in your favor, and it would be up enough to make (possibly) a difference.

    • It is too easy to overlook a player on their "own" team if they return from a mapserver disconnect.
    • It is too easy for players to get shafted by league tactics - hey blue team deal with the AV while yellow team gets all the Incarnate XP from the ambushes.
    • It is not balanced.

The same thing applies to Hamidon Raids and Rikti Mothership Raids.
    Very much /signed.

Last night, I was on a league doing a BAF, and the amount of bickering in the league on who gets to fight the adds was huge. People complaint about the low exp, demanded to be put in the add team. Rather unpleseant experience, a situation that should not even be there.

The BAF is a team (as in the whole league) effort, and iExp should be split between the league, not the groups. I am fairly sure the community is capeable enough to deal herself with leechers and simply kick them if needed.
  16. Loving my Fortunata with her Incarnata Powers (though only T3 except Alpha so far):

Alpha: Muscular, since it buffs Judgement, and more damage overall is always nice.

Interface: Reactive, the 75% DoT Chance, it adds up quite a bit of damage. Though concept wise this is a stretch. Kinda ignoring it a bit for now, since I am not sure how to explain that her Psionic/Negative attacks cause mobs to burst into flames *shrug* Well, I guess she is just that 'hot' *cough*

Judgement: Void, the one with the chance for extra damage. For the T4, not sure yet if I get the one with the chance for extra damage, or the -DMG debuff, still undecided on that. The debuff is nice.. but so is extra damage. Fits nicely along with her Dark Obliteration and Gloom for negative Damage.

Lore: Seer, the one with the untouchable one, with her mini Fortitude, brings my Damage buff to about 60% (with 2*Assault and Set Bonusses), which is nice. The little heal helps a bit too. The attack pet seems rather weak though. The 5 minute use, 15 minute recharge thing makes this less noticeable addition in powers from the incarnate stuff, don't care for it that much.

Destiny: Rebirth +Regen. This one is great. Since all she was really missing is a heal, along with the added massive Regen in the first seconds, this has been really helpful. Since she has a ton of Defense already, this seemed like a better choice. From current playing I absolutly love it. Having been on a team with another rebirth, we alternated them, which worked out really really well. This will be the first I get to T4.

    -------

Overall, I enjoyed my Fortunata before I20, but she just wasn't there yet. High Defense for myself and the team, but still, mobs got lucky, and no heal: Rebirth fixed that.

Her Damage, both single target and AoE was decent, but, I ran into the sliver-of-health-left situation quite often, where the mob was nearly defeated, but not quite, and needed another full attack. Reactive + Muscular increased damage just enough to tip the scale and is a noticeable improvement here.

While I love the Incarnate powers on my (main) Scrapper of course, they just made her a bit better at what she already does. My Fortunata got a more noticeable boost in effectiveness and (more importantly) fun-factor, that she is becoming my currently most fun character to play.

Yesterday, I was on an ITF, that got hit with a server crash, and when I got back, only 3 people where back. We went ahead anyway, and absolutely melted faces before the rest got back on. In the trials, the incarnate stuff helps of course, but one individual is still just a cog in a big machine, each individual performance isn't as noticeable. However, on the 3 people ITF, it really showed just how powerful she had become. I love it
  17. The original 'Übelmann the Unknown' story arc, when it was still a 5th Column story. The final letter at the end was rather well written, wrapping the arc up nicely.

It really depends... if the cool looking one is still somewhat useful, like Eagle's Claw here, then yeah, the awesome (still moderately useful) looking power over the useful one.

But let's say it's just an extremly cool looking emote with tons of special F/X, with no actual game effect, then I'd try the cool looking one out a bit on Test or in a respec, but would ultimately go for the useful one.
  19. - really started hated Hydra, especially when they are found within the sight of a Pylon.

Highly unfun part (on my Scrapper at least) of an otherwise great and enjoyable TF.
  20. Nightwish Rad / Rad Defender, during beta, I got to level 16 or so would probably be my first.

I recreated her when the game went live, but she didn't got far. Alts / trying powersets etc got in the way. My first 'high level' was a Storm / Psi Defender, to level 34 or 35, but the increased appearence of mezzing enemies wasn't very fun.

    Both don't exist anymore.

My first character I got to 50 was Claw/Regen scrapper. She still exists on Victory, but only gets out to get the anniversary badges, otherwise, she's retired.
