I'll review and rate

I plan on trying out a ton of player created missions tonight and throughout the weekend. I figure while doing this I can also help out those story arcs which are going unnoticed.

So, if you think you have a really good arc but it hasn't been played at all, or only a few times, post it here. Tell me a a bit about it and I will try my hardest to get to it this evening and this weekend.

I will rotate between a lvl 41 plant/Rad controller, a lvl 50 Ill/Rad controller and a lvl 50 Fire/WP brute. I normally solo, so please don't post if you don't forsee your story being able to be completed by a soloist. I prefer very short up through medium arcs, but will try any length.

I will also give it a fair evaluation here in this thread for anyone to read. Keep in mind I particularly hate the small blue caves and any defeat all mission that is on a medium map or bigger. I'll still play them, but it could affect my score/review.

If you don't mind playing a really long one <'x'> I'd love some feedback on the last one in my sig "A Warrior's Friend".

It's been played once and rated 4 stars, but never actually heard any feedback, so I've got no clue what I should be altering to improve it <'x'>m

Obviously only if you have the time and interest!

I'm particularly interested in what people think of the updated version of Battle Maiden's (the Praetorian of Valkyrie) updated group that I put together.

I've got a very short arc, "THE BOMBER" 16607, that's basically just a single boss fight with a schtick; I would love to get some feedback on it.

And if you don't mind an arc that has a fair number of ratings, , may I suggest "Adventures of the Space Marines", 2133? Always looking for feedback!

I'd like my villain arc "Nobody of Consequence" (ARC number in sig) reviewed if you have time. Your Brute should be able to solo it.

It's an arc introducing a new group of "heroes" in Rogue Isles who have (I hope) an interesting origin. You, or course, are there to stop them.

One annoyance -- the first mission pits you against Crey and for some reason when you do the mission at level 50 all you get are frost and voltaic tanks. It gets a little tedious, but I did the mission on a level 44 and it had much more variety.

Short one mission arc.

I think the critter text might be borked in it. Dont know why.

Well, if you have the time, feel free to take a look at the arcs listed in my sig (er, ignore "The Meatgrinder", it's just an excercise in sadism that isn't even working properly. Kind of fun in a masochistic sort of way, though ).

"Small Fears" is a horror-themed arc; "How to Survive a Robot Uprising" is, well, pretty much exactly what it says on the tin. Although there are a few twists here and there, and the occasional joke. Poor Bernie

Can you try 15006 and 15707, its a two-parter with the title "War of the Worlds - The Anakim Invasion (part 1 and then part 2). Although its two stories, its mostly because I had so many custom chars that I ran out of space. Would appreciate some honest feedback. Initially I had it on test and at one point, someone rated it 4 star and had some suggestions which I made. Then another friend ran it and didn't like the changes (first one said: too many chars, so I removed some, 2nd one then said: too bland, needs more characters).

Thanks!!!

As of last I checked, Cause of How Some Silly Stealed My Wings #1481 has only had a few playthroughs in live. I've just finished some additional revamps based on Live feedback, so I'm quite interested in more!

It's got wingless fairies, presumptuous red caps, mad Hellion cultists and Ice Caps - beautiful fae who will take your breath away, literally! It's campy, goofy and about a half-hour or less unless you want to spend more time. Based on comments, you won't want to miss the Ice Caps.

My other arc, #3586 Project: Perilous - Into the Chthonian Pit has been more popular and is longer. I've been told it's worth it just to see the arch villain at the end, but I don't want to spoil it... Just try to keep your allies alive to back you up against that one and it should be 'easy enough'! (I had no trouble with my Mastermind, but needed backup with my Dominator.)

Sure!

Hit up #4625 "Call Me!"

It's a short, one mission story about a lost cell phone.

It's intended to be cute and fun, not particularly deep and meaningful.

If you have time to play mine I would appreciate it. It says Very Long in MA, but it really isn't. I'm not sure what designates how they choose the timeframe. But my first two missions are extremely quick. And the other two are more what I could medium then long.

Attack of the Tinkers Toys!
Arc ID: 5402
Faction: Custom Enemy
Creator Global Name: @Listens to Wind
Difficulty Level: Medium
Synopsis: A series of robberies has been taking place. Eye witnesses are claiming the perpetrators are toys.
Mission Count: 4
Estimated Time to Play: 30-60 Minutes

A couple people have played it and it has four stars. But, I'm really looking for acutal feedback on it. It's nice that people who've played it - like it. But that doesn't tell me a whole lot.

Thanks for playing!

Wow, this is filling up fast. I'll get to as many above this post as I can this weekend. some sound really fun. Wish I wasn't stuck at work right now!

Your Brute might enjoy Arc 2150 "Win the 2009 Freak-Lympics", Plenty of things to Smash, Heroes and policemen to beat up and loot to steal.

As long as you can take an EB, you should be find, since there are some in there, but there are allies provided to help as well when they do come up.

Heh- sensible post by Morgenstern.

I would request you try my Spiderling arc. It's fluff, but I think it is cute fluff. My other arc is iffy for solo.

Well it was very short. And it was just a single (Elite) Boss with not any other enemies in the mission, which is fine. Who doesn't like a TV mission too. I liked the Bosses' schtick and gave it 4stars. No 5 only because it was just too simplistic.

I think if you added even a basic custom critter group to go with the bomber and kept the small jewelry store map, you would have a cool little quickie mission.

Eh, why not? I'll toss this in here since there's such great reviewing going on. I do hope you at least get some enjoyment out of it

Arc Name: Shadowlight: Part I
Global: @Phoebe Pondera
Arc: 20696
Length: Very Long
Morality: Heroic
Level Range: 1-54

M1: Contains Boss (LT), Collection
M2: Contains Boss (Boss), Defeat All (It's a very tiny bank, not a lot of mobs to begin with)
M3: Contains Boss (Boss)
M4: Contains Boss (EB and Optional Boss, although the map layout can force you into fighting the Optional Boss. It can also cause the EB to be nowhere near the back end...not sure how I can really fix this though)

Difficulty: Moderate (Bosses on M2, 3, and 4 are a little above the general difficulty curve)

Enemy Group(s): Shadowlight (Custom)

Summary: Time traveling thieves are stealing relics from the past. You need to retrieve those relics before they can be placed into the hands of King Staunton.

-----

As you can guess, there is meant to be a Part II and III eventually. No worries about it though, each Arc (including the first) is a self contained story. No cliff hangers or anything like that.

Take any in my sig. I need the most feedback on "the Revenge of Hro'Dtohz" and "Hunting the Dark Dragon".
