Yeah that video was cute enough I suppose. But like Work_Ethic pointed out all it really did is make me wish we had some dedicated costume change animation emotes again. 
I still think all we need for that is a modification of the /cc command with an added argument for a specific animation. This way we could have a set emote (kind of like the flight pose emotes) locked into any given costume change.

On my roleplay characters, I use an emote macro to switch between costumes.
/macro Uniform "cc 1$$em listenpoliceband"
<ul type="square"> - Uniform can be listed as anything: Civvies, Pwnz, Ninja, etc.
- The cc # is the slot itself. Cc 0 is the first costume slot, cc 1 is the 2nd, etc.
- And the emote can be any standard or unlocked. Full list in Mantid's Emote Guide.[/list]---

The 4th wall idea just... didn't work for me. Heck, Dark_Respite's I13 Full Trailer was better than that.

Is it just me or has every interview and article for the last 6 months stressed the [censored] out of the costume creator? The article once again stressed the costume creator. The devs must really be convinced that their costume creator is just gonna lure 'em in hard. I mean, it is cool and all, but what about some emphasis on what happens once you're done making your character and you actually log in to play the game?
Secondly the video. Man, I hope NCSoft didn't pay much for that video. If that's the best you guys can do you should just hire Samuraiko right now. Have you seen her videos? They're much better than that.
And notice how nothing in either the video or the article mentioned the PvP changes? I wonder why not?
Owch. I had to stop watching that video much sooner than it was supposed to end. I'm sorry but that hurt my brain to watch. 
The script writer and voice actors need to step it up on stuff like that. Yeesh.

Yeah ok. But this game actually has some other features that can be seen and used once people are done with the costume creator. I just wonder why more time isn't spent informing people about the game itself.
Do they actually believe that people are going to sign up just so they can spend months dinking around with the costume creator?
It was cool to see the new stuff, but the acting and script....
well, it needed an outline of a guy and two robots sitting in theater seats at the bottom of the screen.
(liking I13 so far, though, keep up the good work!)
