I'm taking off starting on Wednesday.
That way I can do all my weekend Harry Homeowner stuff on Wednesday and Thursday so I can play non-stop from Friday through Sunday.
We don' need no stinkin' signatures!
What time on Friday does it start because I am off of work?
Is it like 6 am or 1201 am?
I would guess that it will happen after the morning maintenance. so between 8-10am central time?
And although they only promise it until midnight central time on Sunday, it typically runs until the Monday morning maintenance.

I plan on pushing my scrapper or blaster (41 and 42 respectively) closer to 50, or if I'm lucky, all the way.
I'm glad I don't call Freedom or Virtue my home.

The movie will still be in theaters the next week. The Double XP will not. Priorities, man, Priorities.
Head to the theatre at 11pm Thursday for a Midnight showing. DBL XP doesn't start till Friday morning!
eh... the 2XXP weekend will be awsome, i just wish i wasn't suffering from a mild case of CoH/V burnout ATM... 
Maybe i'll take the week before it off... play the weekend like mad...(except for firday night, cause i'll be seeing The Dark Knight.) then take a week or two off to play some old RPG's i've been thinking about playing... I'm in a reto kick right now. I just run through Chrono Trigger last weekend...(the news of the DS version reminded me of that old classic) going to finish it this weekend...(i'm to the final boss... which is like a 4 hour fight...i mean, they let you save in the middle of it IIRC...) then after that... maybe i'll finialy get around to playing them FF collections i bought but never played... 1,2, and 5 would be oldschool, AND new to me. heh.
Either way, I'm off that Friday, (i took it off weeks ago. Before burnout set in.) and i plan on getting my lvl 45 Fire/emp to 50... then prolly working on my Kin/Psy... he's my oldest hero that i haven't made to 50 yet... he's prolly pushing 2.5 years old. I kind of stalled out on him because, well, I've played a Grav/Kin to 50, and a Rad/Kin troller to 50... so he wasn't a big priority to level for me. But I want to get him "finished" and a weekend of 2xxp ITFs will prolly do it, or get me DARN close...

I'm not sure how to use the time though. I think somehow I missed most of the last time but usually I take an alt from 40-50 as my main achievement.
Running the ITF constantly on a good team with my 50s or anything level 35+ sounds like a good plan.
Oh! Now I have a goal for next week - get my final CoV lowbie level 32 up to 35!

That weekend is gonna be challenging....i have a several toons that i want to use to take advantage the double xp/influence/infamy. Here's the problem: i got my wife hooked on the game as well and she has a couple of toons of her own that I know she will want to use. Hmmmmmm.....if i give the speech concerning "honoring, cherishing...." I wonder if I could get her to use my toons LOL. j/k we'll find a way to share the time . No, I'm just kidding. If you thought I was doing all of the above just for double XP weekend, you must be doing it yourself (but not willing to admit it)!
I guess this gives me even more of an incentive to get the new build up and running ... and give it a CoX shakedown cruise! All the parts have finally arrived...
And my bestest RL CoX friend's wife works that weekend so he'll be able to play (in between feedings and diaper changes - his 7 month old son - not HIM)! Yay!

I cannot remember but don't they typically allow old accounts to come back for free during these events? I know a few people that are looking for an excuse to come back and play again.

I belive they did last time, IDK about this time, it would just mean more lockouts for the tried and true paying crowd.

This is not a reactivation weekend, not to be confused with the times we have had those. This double xp weekend is for current subscribers and those with active trial accounts.
