Ok fair enough .... just never gone 24 straight hours of running a farm without a drop. Seems improbable

Went a whole 24 hours ... nada, zip, zilch, that is 36 hours without a drop. Guess I am due!

I have run a PVP recipe farms for the last 3 nights, including one going for 17 hours straight as I type this. No recipes so far. Anyone else having this problem?

ok i started a farm cuz i wanted to know if something was going on ... it has been running for 17 hours so far with no drops. Gotta be something going on, I have killed the guy hundreds of times.

Has there been a change in this drop rate recently? Like in the last 2 or 3 months? I used to get one maybe 2 a night playing PVP. But I have played almost 6 hours a night for the last 3 nights and I haven't gotten a single one!

Wow do i feel dumb. I apparently chose at some point though I do not remember doing it. He has only been a villain for 2 days and the 2 days I have been on only a little. It was very late at night after work and in my exhaustion it looks like I forgot or chose in my sleep. I checked Ghost Widow who is the one I always choose, but I guess I picked Black Scorpion for some reason. Anyway, thanks for the help all.

I am a level 50 villain. I have NO MISSIONS. I went and read all the plaques hoping that would allow me to choose but it didn't work. I have submitted a bug report and am waiting for a reply. Thought I would come check here. I also logged out and back in.

So when I try to talk to Arbiter Rein to get the patron missions he says "I have told you everything you need to know. Choose your patron wisely." I have no options to choose a patron and I have no missions listed in my mission log. Please help!

Ahhh The Brutal Speed Super Team ... I remember it well. Biggest first night turn out for a ST ever I believe. There were 5 full Supergroups with some run over into a 6th. A lot of the main players from that ST and others organized by the same group have moved on to other MMO's. There are still a few of us around though, but sadly the hey day of that core group of guys seems to be a thing of the past.
It's too bad really cuz you could play a toon to 50 in about a week easily with those teams. No farming or craziness, just missions, missions and more missions til you dinged 50! -
I read somewhere it is possible to craft IO's inside the Architect Entertainment buildings. I looked around for a crafting station today in AE though and I didn't see one. Anyone have any info on this?

Ok so after being gone for a couple of years I have re-activated my accounts. I got my 2 main scrappers Respec'ed with all Tier 4 Incarnate stuff, Inherent Fitness and ATO enhancements. So now onto my Fire/Kin. I used to run the demon farm with him A LOT, to level up toons on my other accounts and get purples. This is the reason I went with Fire for APP Fire Shield, as I still plan on running the farm when I feel like it. I am mainly wondering if I can squeeze some more S/L in somewhere to hit the cap, without losing Perma-hasten. I put in Vengeance at the last second because it allowed me to get Perma-hasten with a third LOTG +rech. Before that I had to slot Posi's blast in firecages to get Perma-Hasten, I'd much rather Proc cages. Without that last LotG +rech I am at 120.1 seconds for Hasten!!! Soooo close. Of course having Veng let me throw in the Shield wall +Res though. Just wish I could free up a slot or two for Transference. I am not sure if the one end mod/acc will be enough to fill my bar. Anyone out there have experience with single slotting Transference?

The 4 recharges in hasten was needed to make it perma. Obviously with Spiritual in the alpha slot, which I currently have as tier 2, I no longer need to 4 slot it, can probably even 2 slot it. I know I need to change the build that is why I am here.

I am a returning player who played for the first 5 yrs of CoX. Looking to maximize my Fire/Regn Scrapper. Below is the build as it stood when I left around issue 15 or 16. I am looking for maximum survivability followed by the most dmg possible. So if anyone has any advice or a more current build for fire/regen I would appreciate it. Price is not a factor as I have TONS of purples and PVPIO's in my bases.

I love all the defense John, but I worry about the huge drop in DMG output from the build I posted. I am definitely saving your build though. In fact I may do both builds. Thanks for the input.

Ok i made that last change, thanks for the help. I imagine I will have him all respec'ed out in the next few days, with the exception of the PvPIO!

Lots of good points brought up, let's see how many I can address. First i should start by saying that my primary approach to this build originally was to make Hasten perma, which would have the secondary effect of making Dull Pain perma. I am unwilling to make changes that will no longer make my hasten perma. However perma-hasten is sooooo much easier now with the alpha slot. So I can definitely lose some recharge to add defense. I also don't need to worry so much about slotting the purples for there 10% recharge bonuses.
Ok let me go step by step as I make changes
1) Dropped Shadow Maul & picked Reconstruction in its spot, 4 slotted Numina
2) Put Armageddon in Soul Drain
3) Switch Purple Immob set for Touch of Death in MG 6 slotted with Touch of Death
4) Dropped Swift for Touch of Fear 5 slotted Glimpse of the Abyss
5) Dropped Air Superiority for Super Speed Slotted Winter's Gift Slow Resistance
6) Dropped Health so it became inherent slotted with 2 Numina
7) Dropped Stamina so it became inherent slotted with 2 Performance Shifter
8) Dropped Fly replace with Combat Jumping slot Kismet +accuracy
9)Picked up Maneuvers in Health spot Slotted LotG +recharge and 2 Enzyme Exposure
10) Picked up Tactics in Stamina spot slotted with Gaussian chance for build up
11) Dropped Stealth for Vengeance slotted LotG def, +recharge
12) Dropped Invis moved Resilience from lvl 30 power to 24 slotted with Steadfast Protection + Def and Gladiator Armor + Def (might take a bit to get that one)
13) Swapped Hasten and ToF to have Hasten available at much lower lvl
14) Swapped ToF and Combat Jumping to have ToF available at lower lvl
15) Put Dark Blast in Hasten spot 5 slotted Armageddon
16) Drop Petrifying Gaze pick up Shadow Meld slot with LotG +recharge and 2 Membrane Exposure
17) Took Boxing in Dark Blast old spot at lvl 44 5 slotted with Absolute Amazement
18) Drop Tenebrous Tentacles for Tough 3 slotted with Aegis
19) Drop Revive for Weave 4 slotted with LotG
Ok I think that is it ... all of these changes are very easily done except tracking down the PvPIO +Defense.
One question I do have is how do I change the lvl of an IO above 50 if I choose to use and enhancement booster on it?

Thanks for the input. Most of your suggestions are right in line with the changes I was considering. Though I doubt I will bother with ToF, Soul Storm will suffice. I think I will grab the pet from the PPP, it will be perma with all the +recharge I have. I rarely if ever use SM but it is the only place I can fit in Armageddon so I think I am stuck with it for now. I'd love to see your build thanks.

Yes I wouldn't consider those travel powers temps either. I just didn't really know about them until I researched them tonight. A great way to save some power choices to be sure. Are they as fast as the regular travel powers?
Thanks for the clarification about your choices and slotting. I am definitely going to look at the build you posted again. I still am not sure about the DW vs. Numina ... I have always believed on a */Regen that Recharge is the #1 priority. Keeping IH, DP and the other heals up as often as possible. Something to look into for sure.
