Patron Pool Problems

So when I try to talk to Arbiter Rein to get the patron missions he says "I have told you everything you need to know. Choose your patron wisely." I have no options to choose a patron and I have no missions listed in my mission log. Please help!

Mmm, could it be you have too many missions/arcs open atm? Might prevent him from giving you access

The only other thing I can think of is...have you read all the plaques to complete the first mission from him?

Too many arcs/missions was my other guess but has already been said.

Just to doublecheck completely, are you 35 and villain or rogue?

I am a level 50 villain. I have NO MISSIONS. I went and read all the plaques hoping that would allow me to choose but it didn't work. I have submitted a bug report and am waiting for a reply. Thought I would come check here. I also logged out and back in.

Could you possibly have chosen a patron already? Check your contact list and see if any of the patrons show up there. The dialog he's giving you is what he says when he is an inactive contact after you have done the patron choice. As the others have said, the only other reason is too many open arcs. I read in another thread that if you don't do the personal missions in the DA arcs, they will count as open and can clog up the works.

Also, did you switch sides at any point? I'm not sure if it's still the case, but if at one point you were hero/vigilante open arcs on that side (used to?) count against your total.

Wow do i feel dumb. I apparently chose at some point though I do not remember doing it. He has only been a villain for 2 days and the 2 days I have been on only a little. It was very late at night after work and in my exhaustion it looks like I forgot or chose in my sleep. I checked Ghost Widow who is the one I always choose, but I guess I picked Black Scorpion for some reason. Anyway, thanks for the help all.

Well you'll still get access to Soul mastery once you complete his arc anyhow.

The good news is, I've always picked Ghost Widow because I considered her arc easy, but when I asked a few months ago what others thought was easy, a couple of people said Black Scorpion, so I tried it. I've run his I think three times so far since then... it's fairly easy too. ^_^

I've so far run Scirroco's and Black Scorpion's.

Of the two, I'd definitely say BS's was the easier. Mostly because of the Elite Boss at the end. Serafina is a -pain- to fight.

Only one I have yet to try is Mako. BS I enjoyed least.

I've always considered Black Scorpion's the quickest to get done. Whether it's the easiest depends on the character you're running, it has a few Malta missions but the EB is a pushover (if you can keep him from running all over the map).

I'd say that purely on the basis of the patron unlock arcs (ie the first arc from each patron) Black Scorpion is the easiest and Scirroco is the hardest. But I would also say that Scirocco has far and away the most interesting arcs storywise.
