    I am looking to get a gaming laptop for my son. He mainly plays CoH and Diablo 3. He also plays some other games but most of them are web based so I think these 2 (and maybe Star Craft 2 if I ever get it) would be played on the laptop.

    Would like something that he could run Ultra Mode graphics on at least at minimum settings.

    Would like it to be under $1000 but am a bit flexible on that.

    Any help/suggesstions/comments that I am just crazy are welcome.

    Although it is true that you can use 2 tokens to move the character and force the rename through that and then back, but you lose things in the transfer like conneciton to SG, prestigate level, rank in SG (even more difficult when you run a solo SG).

    I would just like to be able to convert the transfers into something different. Maybe character slots at some rate.

    You are getting the last 3% resist to psi from the Aegis Psi Resist piece.

    Running 64-bit will allow you to access more than 4GB of RAM which is not in of itself.

    I have been running Windows 7 64-bit since some of the beta builds and have not had issues with the game on it.

    It is just plain random luck.

    I was running a mission with my son. Set to x8 and was just us 2. Back to back groups he pulled a purple recipe. And before we finished the mission, he also pulled a Respec recipe.

    The most classic though is what I did one night when we were running missions with my SG. I had the audacity to make the statement. I haven't gotten a purple in a long time. I will get one this mission. The very next group I got my purple. From that point forward when we run missions it is always...my turn to get a purple...no..no...it is my turn...and so on between all of us. You have got to love people that just love running together.

    The whole drive or do you mean the Program Files directory?

    I do not have it installed in Program Files. I want it on the drive with Windows only because that is my SSD and it loads a lot faster.

    But I did figure out how to avoid the yes/no quesiton about the admin prems and I think this must have been why it worked before. I have the Microsoft Sidewinder X6 keyboard where you can program some keys. I had one programed to kick off the NCSoft Launcher before. I had not gotten to that part of updating everything when I reinstalled on the SSD. I just configured it and no more asking for confirmation. Yeah!

    That allows it to run as Admin but it still does the popup yes/no. I thought I had it setup before that it no longer asked me the yes/no but can't seem to figure out where I updated a setting.

    I had this set before and working but of course when you put in a new hard drive you miss something to write down.

    When I launch the NCsoft Launcher, it always kicks off UAC. How do I make this stop asking me for this one? I tried marking the shortcut with Run As Administrator in the properties but still does it.

    I am trying to figure out how the rewards from these apply. If you run both part 1 & 2 on the same character, it prevents you from choosing the Hero Merit for both. Is this the proper behavior? Are you only suppose to be able to get 1 Hero Merit from the arcs each week?

    I know they have changed it that you have to at least reaffirmed your alignment as Hero to claim Hero Merit which is a pain as it makes it so you have to be at least level 20 to get those.

    Are all of the restrictions listed somewhere?

    Ah! I see now. Wow, Mids really is pretty awesome. Ok, so that explains that. But now I'm still puzzled. Looking closely at the details of DA for his build and mine, the Info tab shows that DA gives me 20% defense, but gives Werner 22.79%. How is that? According to the Enhance tab, my slotting boosts the defense on DA by 33.3%, while his is only 15.94%. His version also does more damage, but the damage is enhanced less.

    I thought it might be an Incarnate thing at first, but we both have that turned off. But we both have a chance of causing fire damage with DA, which must come from the reactive interface. And I think he is assuming higher tier Incarnate abilities than I am, so maybe that explains it. Except that the Incarnate toggle is off. So I'm still confused.
    You are not looking at his build correctly. Since he is using Enzymes there are 2 sets of numbers for defense and not just the single one of ~15%. That is where the difference comes into play. (It is a known thing that the defense debuff of Enzymes counts as defense when used in a defense power.)

    Add that and the fact that he is using level 53 HO's.

    Shard drops are not like recipes and salvage. One enemy can drop a shard for every single person on a team.

    I am not sure but I think that threads work the same.

    I know that the proc does not stack on itself but will it restart the timer on itself.

    For example using a reset of the proc after 10 seconds (I do not remember the actual time the debuff stays on).

    If I hit a power with the proc and it goes off the enemy has the debuff for 10 seconds. If 5 seconds into that cycle I hit another power with the proc and it also fires off does the enemy have the proc reset to 10 seconds? I know the -res value would stay constant.

    I agree, leave it like this.

    They have spawned multiple GM's before in regions before and the servers survived.

    Or maybe they make a GM out of it.

    I know that the booster doesn't work some uniques because it would not matter. But would it work on say a LotG +recharge for increasing the +Def part of the IO?

    Also, do they work on Purple IO's?

    Don't feel bad about missing the scroll bar part. I did the exact same thing and know many others that did the same.

    Some of the Confuse, Hold and Immbolize ones are very close for made and unmade. I always check just in case.

    I also picked up an Apocalypse one that was almost identical for made/unmade.

    2 things I can think of.

    1 is the Pop Up Help defaults there. Even if you have it turned off by default, I have run into the issue where I cannot move items in that area. Try going into Options and turn them on and then back off again.

    2 would be if you have something on your desktop that does like autohide in that area and it is somehow come to the forefront.

    Is there a way to make a bind to do this instead of a macro?

    I was unable to figure out how to bind say the letter z to bring up the auction house with or without the / in there.
